I don't even see DCA as an option on Altcoins because it solely deals with high increase and high decrease which if you real want to benefit you have to lump sum (buy as much as you can) during speculated bull run. if at the moment we are approaching bull run you can buy any Altcoin of your choose but at least ones at the top to reduce the chance of your capital from loses.
If you buy during the dips bro I assure you it will dip more because you can't determine the market so you have to reduce the risk and buy only when the bull run is around the corner.

So there is a price increase for altcoin but not a established one like Bitcoin, because we have not seen dump in the value of Bitcoin for over an month now but Altcoins has been pumping and dumping and in my opinion it's not worth to make entery for long term as of now it's good only for quick profit whole being very active. ETH is highly sure as it's number one altcoin and I can name it king of all altcoin. I'm so glad to see matic on the list as well. But I don't think it's risky again to invest in altcoins, Bitcoin halving is happening this year so all cryptocurrency will benefits from that including altcoins. It was during the bear market that it was very risky to invest in altcoins as they were always falling but the bear market is over and it's a good opportunity to buy some good altcoins and hold for the bull market. We shouldn't buy only altcoins but also buy Bitcoin so we can benefits from all coins.

Altcoins can give you good profits if you buy one that will do well during the bull market, no individual knows which one will do well so we can only assume and buy them based on our research. That's the downside of every investment in crypto because you can't still be sure after you've done your proper research on certain projects because the risk is still there because you still don't have any idea whether they are true to their promise or they were just fooling around to scam their investors.
