For me the best time to invest in altcoin is now because now is still dip, after bullrun the chances for you to gain might be slim. Although I don't know if altcoin bullrun is thesame as that of Bitcoin but maybe since they are under bitcoin I think it might be a good one to try. But when trying make sure you do research to know the right one.

You will have to consider the volatility of the market as well as this will be the reason why we never keep seeing those coins on the bottom will remain there but can possibly see them on the top gainer unless it was a dead coins. And it is the same thing also happens with Bitcoin as we can never see its price stability, it dumps today and will possibly pump the next day.

Both of them carry huge risks and that is why we should have to take extra caution when investing. And also, it should be planned so well and take every price opportunity whether to buy or sell.

There's never been a time that investment in altcoins was without a risk. Altcoins investment is always riskier than Bitcoin investment. But I also understand what you meant in OP. For some certain altcoins being toppers and as well as losers within a short time shows a good level of volatility, and that is not good for long term investment, rather good for short term investment or day trading .
Anyone that wants to involve in altcoins this time around should have good knowledge of the charts and also be ready for good or bad, especially coins like Sol.

So I agree that the value of Altcoins have been showing significant growth in value and that they have immense potential. I’d definitely go for it but I wouldn’t recommending holding them long term given their volatility. I would suggest you do quick trades. If you are the person who wants for a long term you should go to Bitcoin and if you want a quick income then go for the alts. But if you get afraid with investing on those altcoin then think about putting all your money are you sure that you can earn? Remember that profit taking for bitcoin might take long so you would provably left your money sleeping especially if you can't able to trade it. Altcoin market is really risky but if we do some good research about it then for sure that we can minimize the risk and can also get a much better result than investing on single coin only.

Alts is really better for short term income that's why we need to gain a lot of experience from this before we can gather a lot of money so before participating we must do all important matters that can help us now about situation or status of the alts we are looking for.

Well, even when we say that now is a good time, I think there will still be doubts for people who are still afraid to take risks. When a bear market occurs, people wait for the market to recover, and when a bull market occurs, people wait for a bear market to buy. they will always have a reason to keep asking.
If someone wants to invest in bitcoin or altcoins or any other investment, then I think not long after doing the research they will make a decision on what to invest in. Yes Bitcoin has always been the safest investment medium when it comes to crypto but Bitcoin investment will be considered too volatile and risky for traditional commodities/stock investors and when it comes to crypto investment Bitcoin is considered way traditional with limited movement but Altcoins are considered too risky.

To be honest we can earn good profit through Bitcoin itself by executing multiple trades, I would prefer making 10 trades of 0.5% profit in Bitcoin instead of risking my capital for a 5% profit in altcoin. But Altcoins will be more profitable and if I can be a full time trader then Altcoin will be preferred with active monitoring and strategy.
