However, j don't give a fuck to outcoins or shitcoins because most of them are not to be trusted, although there are some that are real legit but the ones that are not legit has spoiled the reputation of the legit ones.

People are investing in it because they believe that it will give them huge returns. TBH, I've seen many investors who are risking their money, they invest in these stupid meme coins only to lose money in the end.

Investing into meme coins (or where I considered them as sh*tcoins) is like placing your bet on the team that is obviously losing against their opposing team. Yes, there's a chance still to win, but what are the chances? Same with investing in meme coins. Yes, you can gain profit, but what are the chances of you gaining profit? It's pretty obvious that most of these meme coins have no use case at all. It's already good that DOGE is being used for some reasons. Most of the meme coins for me are useless, and they aren't worth holding for the long term.

Reason for me to buy meme coins? I have no reason to buy them because I believe that they aren't a good coin to hold mid to long term. The risk of investing in these type of coins are very high at least for me. The reward is high yes, but I can't risk money investing into something that I believe will give me headaches in the end.

It seems clear to me you know very well that there is nothing behind meme coins, and when a project does not really have any reason to exist then it should be obvious that it does not have good long term prospects either, then it is very easy to conclude that meme coins are not worth buying for the long term, now it could be said that they are not worth to be bought for the short term either, but since you could get lucky and get a lot of money if you bought the right meme coin, there are many people willing to take the risk and see if they can become rich this way.

Most of the so called utility coins also fail to be utilized by the general public. And most of trading are speculative and analytical than as an investment on a good future.
Though meme coins are not serious about selling their roadmaps, they are one of the sought after coins for trading.
I personally made a good profit from pepe last month as I bought it around ~7 when it was on the dip and sold over ~10 and now it's ranging around ~11.
So, it would be a good idea to buy popular meme coins when they in dip as many people would have a higher buying price and the one's holding would keep holding for profit.

Those people who buy meme coins are those people who are party joiners. Yeah, I'd say this because during the hype of meme coins like Pepe, a lot of investors got the desire to invest but look, they're going after the pump and selling them. Well since am not a meme investors, I can't really say the utility of the meme project you mentioned here. The initial nature of most meme projects are just for fun purposes but it seems since the dogecoin hype investors have picked interest in trading meme coins and making them seems like a worthy investment which they aren't, especially when you consider long-term.
