BCCI prohibited tobbaco companies from sponsoring that's why.

I guess we need to accept the reality, cricket is more than a sport now and BCCI is the one who cracked the code be the most successful one and for that they may need to sacrifice the lives of innocent fans if needed with slow poisons.

BCCI is successful because nation is fanatic about cricket, and nation is fanatic about cricket because we like to take pride in what we are good at.

Indians were always crazy about cricket or since we won the first WC and then the Sachin era and then we evolved a lot and now at the top but BCCI managed to get the financial success with the evolution and it starts with the successful era of IPL and now it's the second most expensive league in the world that's what I meant by cracked the code.

Why did we lose the test series and what do you think was the reason for the whitewash? Everyone on social media is blaming Gambhir, which is disgusting, considering that he is responsible for some good and entertaining wins. I am not sure why everyone is saying that the oldies (Kohli & Rohit) should have been part of the current team. I feel it is time that we stop thinking that these guys can win every match for India. There have been many situations in the past that they could not. I mean, none of them can replace the legend Sachin Tendulkar. In case if Sachin were playing in the time frame when Kohli and Rohit started playing with the PR mechanism, he would have been more than a Legend!

^^ it's a mixed bag and not just related to coach, he did play big part in it but players should get stick as well.

- his obsession with all rounders and that too wrong type in Indian condition like NKR.
- No idea about anyone's role, keep changing on batting order and atm it's all based on vibes and players are not batting at their usual positions.
- finding number 3 is becoming pain.
- neglecting performers of Ranji, two batter could've replaced Sai and NKR easily and solidified the top 6.
- Jaiswal and pant are 2 big match winners and they didn't do well.
- Ashwin's replacement Washi needs to up the ante in bowling department but management needs to show some confidence on his bowling, which is not the case atm.

It's not just the coach but he plays a major role in it too, I am seeing lot of discussion related to Gambhir's biased statements in Eng tour and after this series. He is still defelecting that they messed up. Accepptance is the first step if we want to correct the mistake but he just blame everyone else and fails the accountability here. He won 4 matches which is against BAN and WI at home and lost every other match which is the lowest winning and probably the terrible of all time in Indian test home record.

GG probably is the reason why both of them suddenly said we are moving away from the test format because just before that both of them said they still have time but something changed in very short term. But it's okay players can leave and in the current pool we have enough talent to fill the players if needed.

But the main reason why test is going down, not just now but for the last 2-3 years is due to the change in the selection process. It used to be based on Ranji, Duleep trophy but now it's mainly from IPL. If not from IPL then Nithish Reddy could not even imagine being a part of test team because his first class avg is like 23, and his last 10 innings score is 102 run. So we are backing the wrong players and kept the deserving one in the queue for years.
