No Hardik? I think the impact rule player is affecting the selection process, in T20Is there is no impact player so we need a proper all-rounder to bring the balance. I know Hardik had a shitty IPL but he is a potential player and he is the one and only kind in this category, so we can't let it slide just like that.

I am also interested to see who is going to opener, is it going to be Abishek and Sanju or Abishek and Sooryavanshi?

Injury Problem i think + they are keeping him fresh for ODIs , he will play every ODI with management expecting him to bowl full quota of 10 overs.
Onto Opening situation they should start with Sanju & Abhishek with both of them missing one game each to give Vaibhav some playing time , more than opening i'm more intersted in Vaibhav fielding & how he handles intensity for full 20 overs , they were subing him out in IPL almost every game.

He'll remain goated all rounder and not easy to replace. If reddy manages to peak his career ( both bowling and batting) then he has some chance in replacing Pandya. One more scenario would be Hardik pissing off the BCCI.

Reddy is not that good, and I do not think he can replace Pandya unless Pandya decides to retire. He is 32 and still has another 5 or more years left to play in the T20 format. Looking at his fitness, he can go on without any issue because the BCCI still does not have a good replacement for Pandya. If Reddy can improve himself and if BCCI does not find another player like Pandya, then Reddy can become a regular. You are right, SKY will continue in IPL, but he won't be back in the team anymore.

I hope PMO accepts the proposal , Indian football will be immediate beneficiary

Reddy is improving compared to the last couple years. He is bowling a bit quicker but still not in the range of 140kmph, which is the real difference between Kung fu Pandaya and other all-rounders. I believe Dube is even better, even though he is not quicker, he did really well in the WC and took wickets so he can be considered over Reddy though.

SKY is performing in MPL or somewhere which I saw in a meme, just the same way like Ishan and many others who were dropped and made their way with domestic performance and SKY is trying that.

Reddy is incredible bat tho and could be real asset for India in tests.

Problem is he's not as good as pandya as far as complete package is concerned and imo his bowling looks like cheap version of shardul Thakur.

Afghans have got one world-class opener along with two good top order batters but after that their middle order is bleak except Omerzai, I guess, and then spinners does decent in ODI and good in T20I, they need to find a decent pace attack and they will do. Considering their geopolitical situation, they still found ways to practice and make it into their national team.

Coming back to the test transition or even the selection process, how can they ignore Bhuvi and go with someone like Prasidh Krishna?

Bhuvi hitting 37 soon and his test has ended back in 2018-19 because that time we had fair amount of bench strength in seam department.

IPL performances are good for nostalgia but don't matter much for senior players, similar story for Shami. Nothing wrong in investing younger players, no guarantee if it pays any dividends but that's how it goes in general.

Yeah, you are right! In Bhuvi's case, it was bad luck for him. Shami is 35, and Bhuvi is 37. It is over for them. I doubt they will be called back into the national squad for any format of cricket. BTW.. Did anyone see the match between the Indian women's and the Pakistani women's team? Complete dominance by the Indian girls, they batted well, bowled well, and fielded well too. Good to see the aggressive posture from the girls' team in the World Cup.

Thodi bahut batting dekhi pakistan ki during powerplay, it gave a village cricket feeling when Indian fielders were dropping catches and usual misfields ofc.

^^ 170 is too much for them there was a no scenario that they can chase that ..so i wasn't too worried ..knew once deepti & sree bowl in tandam they will collapse  anything above 150 & these guys can't chase that coz apart from their captain Fatima no one can hit sixes ..even Fatima is like afridi  performs with bat once in blue moon against good teams.

Now hopefully we beat South Africa to setup a final good match against Australia coz Winner of this group might get Windies in semis as they beat NZ in first match.

^^ our challenge would be SENA ( windows as well) as we still lag way too much in all departments as far as t-20 format is concerned, not much in other formats.

Wpl helped a lot in fitness culture but fielding standards are still low and at times, depressing to watch except some blinders here n there. Also our team still takes conservative approach in batting.

Still, it is a huge development in women's cricket in the last few years, especially since WPL. To be honest, I still don't follow any women's cricket and even the current WC but some of the names are surfacing on the viral memes and news that is something, and 99% of the mens category doesn;t even get such recognition in our country. So it can inspire many great talents in the next generation for sure.

Yes, it is a huge development in Women's cricket in general. Now these girls do give me the confidence that they can win the T20 WC. I never believed them before they won the ODL WC. They have matured and uplifted their skills thanks to WPL. Matches against SENA are tough ones, but these girls can come out as winners.

Wpl paid devidens in a longer format, in which we were already competitive and beaten bigger teams regularly but didn't know how to cross a finishing line, it changed in odi wc final.

Yet to see results in t-20 format though but I am optimistic in a longer run.
