When the rich want to think about winning games, they think like someone that has money and want to make more money, they can bet a million on a single game with probability of making 30% with risk of 30% losing the money and they will go for it, if the game win as they expected, he will be 30% richer from his wager money or money stake but if a poor man want to gamble, they assume that gambling is the way to eradicate poverty from their life and that is how they lost little they have. I understood OP in this way:
poor people or people who doesn't meet their daily requirements are more like play to win money, their intention is totally to win from casino, which causes them to take wrong decisions and they be greedy and bet more and more without managing their capital, they risk money which is very important for them they cannot able to handle the losses.
first rich people are knowledgeable, and they have money which is not very important to them, like too much extra money after completing their needs. so they less likely to chase losses.

I think the OP mostly implies the scenario to those gamblers who are rich, whom has many funds at their disposal to use in gambling, and at the same time, responsible enough to know when to continue and when to stop. Winning big profits doesn't just become possible by merely being rich. you are just confused because mostly the Big winners are being broadcasted and those small rollers are left behind but trust me , the ratio of being a winner is mostly happens in the poor but since they only bet smaller then they are seeking for more wins ending them a loser in the end, but those thousand dollars or even million dollars bettors? they just need a 1 or 2 hits wins and they are already good.

They do really have that versatility and they do really have that kind of space on which they could really be able to recover on what they had lost considering on the amount that they've been using on which we know that it would really be giving out that kind of probability but just like on what i had said that chances or odds would really be just that the same.
