Bep20 is cheaper now because trc20 now charging more fee and it is remain no cheaper network. 2-3 years later TRC20 was most cheapest network and sending fee was just one trx(0.02$) but I checked one year ago by sending usdt to other addresses and trc network charged 2$ per transaction which is higher than many network.

BSC network fee is just 0.05$-0.1$ which is very low as compared to TRC. If you use Matic then it is cheaper than both. BTW you want to buy from Cex ?

Transaction fee is different from withdrawal fee and when you said you want to buy then probably it is from centralized exchange where withdrawal fee of each coin is different from one to another platform.

For some undisclosed reasons, I get people preferring to use trc20 than bep20

If I was to critically analyse why based on on-chain analysis, one of the factors to note is that the trc20 arrives or confirms way much faster than bep20, this is not to say trc20 design is the faster or fastest but I believe its use isn't as much as that of bep20 therefore validations have fewer transactions thereby not having a congested confirmation log to validate but bep20 is in steady use and therfore the tps might be overwhelmed and thereby trigger a bit of delay.

The difference is just few cents while TRC20 has more liquidity for USDT therefore it’s better to hold your token in TRC20 if you are buying USDT.

In general, BEP20 is cheaper in terms of transaction fee since Tron Network increases their fee lately. But the price in USD value is still the same while TRC20 is widely use in almost all website that accepts USDT.

C'mon, not couple dexes. I'm sure each and every bsc dex supports it. TRC20 is widely used only on cexes, because they can stake several thousands tron for free resources and avail free transfers. So pocketing money from users by taking withdrawal fees and at the same time being relatively cheap for user. Both party wins.

Other than that trc20 is expensive to sell on tron dexes and transfer too for normal users.

TRC20 is widely accepted in centralized exchanges when many exchanges don't support the BEP20 version of USDT. I guess this 150 dollars of yours will eventually go to any centralized exchange if it is supposed to be converted into fiat. Centralized exchange is the most convenient way to do that right now as far as I know. You can buy USDT with P2P and a visa card if that is available in your country. Also be careful when selecting the address type as TRC20 is not EVM compatible so their names may look similar but their addresses will not.

If you are sending USDT from a tron wallet then it's transaction fees is very low. I think it's just 5-10 Tron. But if you are sending from exchange the it's fees is 1-5$ on Tron Blockchain.
Bep20 network fees is low and it's fast. It's exchange and wallet fees is same. I think binance is charging 0.20- 0.30$ cents in bnb for one transaction.
So, you can prefer bep20 chain

The last time I checked which was a few days ago, withdrawing USDT TRC20 from a casino cost me $5, maybe the exchanges will also ask the same.
In the exchange where I also withdrew USDT(BEP20) going to my Binance account, it cost me $0.50. This is very recent so it must be the most updated fees so far. Huge difference especially when it comes to your local currency.

Matic has the cheapest for now. But need to check the availability of this network where you want to finally send your funds.
Tron network was cheaper before but now, BSC network seems to be favorable especially if both networks are available.
So the OP should check the availability of these networks and how much each platform is charging their customers.
Sometimes, the fees vary from one platform to another. So there's no fix answer to this question.

Ita very simple, BEP-20 is cheaper as it costs only 0.30 USDT as network fee wherein TRC-20 costs 1 USDT as network fee, but as per my personal experience TRC-20 are way quicker than BEP-20 in terms of transaction.

Go ahead with BEP-20 if it's available in the exchange or P2P platform where you are sending these $150, moreover regardless $0.30 or $1 doesn't make huge difference at these are flat rates instead of dynamic or percentage basis. BEP-20 will not be available with all the exchanges.

BEP20 is more cheaper and you should choose depends on what network address you are sending.
Ask your receiver about the BEP20 address because its the best option and you can easily get the address in many exchanges and wallet as this is accepted by many. If you are also buying this in an centralized exchange and with P2P, you should also consider the rate of buying it.

This depends. If you're using Binance to facilitate the transfers, then BEP20 is around 5x cheaper than transferring USDT on other chains including TRC20.

But if you're making the transfers on-chain (independent of an exchange) then you should use BEP20 since it's more cheap compared to Tron blockchain when you factor in the cost of bandwidth and other tx requirements or just default to TRX for fees — BEP20 is still cheaper.

Those blockhains are so cheap and it doesn't even matter what blockchain you have chosen from your list. I have been actively using TRC20 and BEP20. There are no different in the fees as these are having cheap transfers.
The only thing that makes it different if TRC is a bit complicated and you need to pick bep caused by it's much more simply to use. Those tokens were only costing you a few cents and i think that this shall not be debatable.
Your choices were having low fees. that's why it doesn't even impact your money whether you pick trc or bep. Those all the same. It cost you very small.
You shall not worry about that. I prefer to use BEP as it's much more easy and simple than TRC.

Just check the withdrawal fees to be sure. Ideally TRC20 should be cheaper to transact when you have frozen a large amount of TRX on your wallet as the transaction would happen fee less. But exchanges levy withdrawal fee in order to promote one option to other. BEP20 is also cheap enough, I had a near instant transaction for BNB worth 10 cents just today. Both of the network should cost over 50 cents to transact but exchanges have their own calculations.

honestly using either both of these doesn't gonna be any problem, sometime CEX always have fixed fee of sending through these two blockchain with the same rate, so basically its the same thing.
but if someone wants to interact with smart contract after ward then definitely BSC is better since unlike tron the smart contract in BSC are quite many and also the capabilities to bridge across various other blockchain make it no brainer to use BSC.
honestly sending USDT using both blockchain will not exceed 1 dollar so personally shouldn't think about the fee in the first place, just think about whether he gonna interact with smart contract afterwards.

If you select aggressive fees while making transaction on bsc, you will get your transaction confirmed instaneously while paying extra fees of few cents.

I checked site you linked, and fees shown are $1-$2 usd for trc20, and bsc is at 3 cents [1], this could be different yesterday but unless I see it with my own eyes, I refuse tron could have been this cheap.

Both of almost charged same fees, there are no significant different between both of transaction fees. In terms of fast transaction i think TRC-20 is the best but an exchanges you have to pay 1$ to make withdraw USDT, i am talking about Binance i don’t know about other exchanges fees.

TRC20 and BEP20 networks have different fee structures. TRC20 which is based on the TRON blockchain generally has lower transaction fees compared to BEP20 which is based on the Binance Smart Chain.

But important thing from which platform you want to withdraw you money. If you will use the hot wallet for transaction so I will recommend Trc20 this will be cheaper then Bep20. So you should use that because it will charge fee in Tron.

Or if you have funds in exchange. So I will recommend that you should Bep20 network. Because in exchanges if you will withdraw USDT so it will charge fee in USDT and in TRC20. Mostly exchanges charge 1USDT and if you use Bep20 network so it will charge according to the network fee. Means it can be 0.2USDT to 1USDT.

So now this is your personal decision which network you will use. You can check fee before making transaction. Which you think is cheaper so you can use that network.

Do you think that Trc20 and Bep20 usdt transferring fee is same? Bsc fee is only 0.03 USD and Usdt Tron fee is more than 1$. Bsc is also quick like tron.. I am using BSC network for all transactions and also used tron usdt where exchange not support BSC deposit and I don't see any difference in speed of arriving payment..I think If our transaction could send with just 0.03$ then it is strange to pay extra 1$ for same process.

What casino you are using because that’s a terrible flat rate for Tron network transfer. Even when tron has a busy network before only charge 2$+ for transaction fee while this casino is charging like a ERC20 tokens transfer already.

1$ is still the average price for transaction on exchange like Binance, Kucoin and other big exchange so I’m sure that casino is over charging customers with the fee.

Before it was better to use for me Tron because I have got some spare of it and that's why I have just spent most of them on fees and transfers. But then if you're trying to look on which is cheaper for the fees, no contest that BEP20 has been stable for being cheaper than any other chain.

If someone is going to argue that there is a free transfer for some coins. Yes, I know that as well but it's not supporting Tether and everyone who uses it is trying to find some alternatives for how we're going to save fees.

Anyway, the market can be like this that it's cheaper for now with BEP20 but if it gets to the whole point of being clogged then it may experience some increase in fees as well and the same goes for TRC20, I've seen fees there went high.

Could you elaborate on that? what do you mean that you could recover the funds if lost on BSC but not on Tron network? And which hacks are you referring to? I'm not defending Tron but I'm not aware of any hacks. And assuming there are a few dapps that got hacked, then it would be an issue with the service itself, and not the actual network.

Actually, you're right about tron. As it is needed to do transactions for trc20 USDT, it is why it's being used by many people and why it's likely staying on the top. That is also what I noticed after a long time of using both networks, I think that is because we pay more fees, so it's normal that it will be processed quickly. The same with Bitcoin and other cryptos. This makes us use TRC-20 more, than BEP-20, even though TRC-20 is a little costly.

After all, it was still $1 and it's cheaper compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum transaction/gas fees. I think Binance or BEP-20 is more popular and more trusted by the many but it's strange if it's less supported by the exchanges. Is it possible that they have a hidden hate because it was their competitor? While Tron doesn't have an exchange so they just side on it instead.

No, it is not, Technically USDT transaction fee is 3X times that on BEP but in the past TRC allowed the users to transact the tokens for free of cost as long as they hold a particular amount of Tron in the wallet but things have changed, and once it used to be cheaper now comparatively expensive but from broader perspective both are cheaper than erc20 transfer though.

Bep20 is cheaper for withdrawals from Binance.

So in this withdrawal you want to save more so that you don't spend more than $1? For me, withdrawing stabelcoin with a withdrawal fee of about $1 is reasonable except on the Etherium network then it will be more expensive because the gas there is quite high.

There are many networks available for USDT withdrawals, usually exchanges provide many.

If you withdraw USDT from exchange both BSC and TRC-20 charge fees like $0.80-1$ so both are almost same and transaction speed is almost same in both. So you can choose any one you want. But since BSC chain is more popular than TRX, you can use it if you want.  But I would say use whatever you feel comfortable with

Both are almost same. The fees are not very different. If you are using Binance then definitely BEP20 will cost you comparatively cheaper fees. The network time is also almost same. To be fair this is the biggest advantage that TRC20 had that it didn't utilize. Everyone KNOWS that TRC20 is cheaper, it is not a secret and it is obvious and we all know it and yet at the end of the day we are not really doing anything regarding this, it's really a shame. If I had a coin that had a chain that was clearly better and cheaper and faster than every other option out there and being accepted by all the major exchanges as a way to send money, then I would do everything I have in my power to make it a top 5 coin.

It is insane to think that there is a coin and specially a chain this great, probably the best at what it does, and it is not getting any attention at all, it is definitely a big shame. I used a few major exchanges i didn’t see such high fees as like in Binance only charge 1 TRX (0.10$) to make a transaction, I think it’s pretty low fees and you can't transfer less cheap price in BEP-20. both blockchain have different address because I presume tron used a heavily modified EVM in which also change the address formats thats why if you are inserting your tron wallet in BEP20 wallet or either you are inserting your BEP20 address into tron the app will usually detect mistake so no need to worry about that.
regardless i'd be more worried with the existence of dapps deployed in both blockchain since I think the amout of dapp in binance smart chain was definitely so much more than tron, but if its matter of sending stablecoin then I guess tron will suffice but usually exchange has fixed rate of $1 for sending USDT so thats can be a concern.

It’s been years since I used Tron, and they’ve made some changes since then, so I’m not too certain about how this system works. USDT has much greater adoption on Tron but BSC is better as a smart contract and token platform. thats true right now I think the most used blockchain for USDT is either Ethereum main blockchain or tron blockchain its always these two because with ethereum it has the many holders in blockchain also majority of token issued are in this blockchain and TRC20 is for the cheap side of sending the USDT. to be fair it highly depends on the purpose of using the stablecoin if it involves no interaction with smart contract then TRC20 is good enough, but with BEP20 there are many things like defi that some people might be interested in therefore it might be worth it to use the BEP20 USDT.

Both are almost same. The fees are not very different. If you are using Binance then definitely BEP20 will cost you comparatively cheaper fees. The network time is also almost same. So whatever network you choose, it won’t make any big difference. If you want to save each and every penny, then definitely BEP20 will be beneficial.

There was a time I was using more of the Trim network than even other network. BEP20 is currently what I feel especially the metamask wallet, it is quite difficult because changing or adding rpc must use vpn, but there are other wallets that do not have to bother to rpc bsc or bep20. indeed bep-20 is still very dense transactions than trc in my opinion. if you still like to send usdt until now try from the mantle chain, some time ago I tried from cex byb*t and the fee was free, maybe now it's still a promotional stage, but I'm comfortable because it's fast too, I don't know other cex because with other chains as far as I know it can cost 1$ once withdrawn. it saves me a lot for daily transactions with a small amount.

You need to check well and consider what OP was trying to do. He clearly stated that he want to transfer USDT and I think the reason is could be as a result of high fees on other chains. Typically, USDT is favour by Tether more than BEP-20 because Tron chain was the first to be accepted to mint USDT until when Binance smart chain was built by Binance and then they later join the race. However, BUSD was a Binance business and such didn't go well with Tether and that's why their two favorite chain remain ethereum and Tron but the fees on Ethereum is high, I will recommend Tron over BEP-20.

In binance withdraw fees of USDT is cheaper in BSC chain than tron. In other exchanges they are mostly the same, as far as I know. Other exchanges charge 1USDT in withdraw fees in both chains. I think in some cases bitcoin lightning network or EOS is cheaper in terms of exchange withdrawal fees compared to BSC and tron. As far as i know tron and BSC chain is widely used and you can even use those in their ecosystem so they are the better option but if you wants to use only to withdraw funds then there are other chain cheaper than those two.

More widely used? I can’t say for sure, or maybe you’re right. But I don’t ever remember transacting USDT on TRC20, and the people around me too. We’re were mostly dealing with ERC20 until ethereum gas fee went too high and BEP20 seemed a better option. to be fair the fee that some exchange have for withdrawal or deposit depends on the exchange themselves, like this silly thing about eth gas fee, when it was cheap back then in exchange the fee is also cheap, but later on when gas fee suddenly increase at around the time where everyone is minting NFT and interacts with a lot of smart contract and the fee increase to as high as $100 then exchange raises the fee for eth significantly, but afterward, when eth fee aren't exceeding $2 the fee in these exchanges are still high even as high as $20 or more, thats the thing with exchange, can't really determine the real fee from these exchanges.

if the dapps that you are looking for are deployed in the L2 like optimism, arbitrum and so on it might be a good thing to use these blockchain instead since the fee is significantly cheaper also it save you from some complicated thing like the need to have native coin as a gas since L2 also uses ethereum, also most of exchanges accept ethereum from L2 anyway. it does really make it more convenient than dealing with BSC or TRON.
I personally has rarely used ethereum blockchain since as you know the fee is not affordable and so far L2 suffice in any way.

BEP20 has always been cheaper indeed maybe because the centralized nature of the validator but overall it is i think among one of the most consistent when it comes to fee.
i remember when transaction peaked in BSC back then when metaverse was a thing and every little thing requires transaction BSC is the only one that consistently require low fees.
right now it has increased i think due to the fact that there has been something going in blockchain such as inscription and so on. i've seen many contract execution within the blockchain explorer these days with tron i think that has something to do with the fee overall.

My personal experience is that BEP20 is cheaper than TRC20 in the past, yes, maybe TRC20, now TRC20 has changed the gas transaction fees, I think that's why I chose BEP20, it's cheaper. TRC20 is the second choice of network that I chose after BEP20

We have seen that when Bep20 first started trading, its fees were much lower. But TRC20 network will definitely charge the same amount of transaction fee if you want to send. But now two networks are very popular and very fast you can transact here if you transact then you can do it conveniently anyway network free no matter and there is no gap.

BEP 20 is cheaper compared to TRC 20 you have to pay less fee in BEP20 while in TRC 20 charge one dollar fee so I will recommend you  BEP 20.
 The time required for transactions bath are approximately same but fee is a bit higher for TRC20 so we should use BEP20 which is quite cheap so we should use it because what we need is cheaper than the expensive one. If we get it, we should choose this thing because we should not waste the dollar that we have, we have it is better that we  use in the transaction. Yes, Bep-20 or BSC platform tokens can be transferred from one wallet to another wallet very easily and with very low fees. For which its popularity and usage has increased the most. People now mostly use the BSC or Bep-20 platform to send USDT because the fees here are much lower than other platforms.

But now TRC-20 platform charges higher USDT withdrawal fee than BSC platform.Because today when I withdraw a few dollars amount of TRC-20 USDT from one of my wallets, 13.66 TRC fee has been deducted which is worth 1.52 dollars according to today's market. But if I want to withdraw the same amount of dollars from my trustwall to another exchange or wallet, it is only $0.08 which is very less compared to TRC-20 platform. There was a time when I used Tron network a lot, Yes it's pretty high speed in transaction to compare other network, BSC and TRC both of almost similar in speed of transaction, Yes when I got a little bit high speed in transaction in tron network, but now Bep20 is cheaper in gas fees then Trc20. BEP-20 now or Bsc is lower compared to Trc20 op, where is your usdt in Cex or Dex? But it's better if you do the transaction at CEX, but of course it's still your choice to follow that matter,

both tron and binance chain offer quite affordable fees to users, but if you want to find which is the cheapest and more recommended i would say you should take binance chain. the fees offered by binance chain are cheaper than those offered by tron, and as for security itself, so far i haven't found any problems with it and the confirmation process is also quite fast. so because my experience is quite good using binance chain in usdt transactions, i would recommend binance chain to you.

agreed with this tron nowaday have quite many people that used it even fee in various exchange increasing nowadays it usually charges $2 if im not mistaken meanwhile BSC $1 max for many exchanges, if we are talking about stablecoin of course, but anyway exchange doesn't really care what asset we are moving anyway they'd charge sending native token or stablecoin the same.
so I agreed in this regard BSC is better.
the good thing with BSC that people sweep under the rug is probably that many of its dapps feels really familiar with the one in ethereum maybe thats just me though but I think its a good thing to have.
overall if i have the chance i will always choose BSC over tron any days.

trc20 or bep20, I personally use the bep20 network more often because of habit and the fees are cheap and fast. My personal experience is that I prefer bep20 to trc20. For now, the cheap one seems to be bep20. If you are in doubt about comparing them, check for yourself which fee is cheap, but I personally prefer bep20

If considering by fee we can say BSC is more cheaper that is to say is less than $1 for transactions but looking at USDT-Trc20 is about $1+ at this point any one doing transaction or transfer between exchange to exchange would rather used usdt-bsc for cheap rate for them, but if like transferring to external wallet like trustwallet or other wallet including other exchange one can used usdt-trc20.
Sometimes it's more faster and quicker for payment/transaction confirmation. At least I have used it all these while and I've seen the differences.

BSC network fee is just 0.05$-0.1$ which is very low as compared to TRC. If you use Matic then it is cheaper than both. BTW you want to buy from Cex ?

Ethereum has implemented the latest update which was helping to reduce the transaction fees for the L2 blockchains. Since, BEP 20 was also L2 blockchain and it means that transaction will have cheaper fees compared to the non L2 blockchain like tron which is not compatible to the EVM blockchain.
This is my main reason for shifting from the TRX blockchain to the BSC blockchain, considering the fees are very small these days. It requires less than a dollar to make a bunch of transactions.

True, but L2 will not make me feel so frustrated as ethereum did with its garbage slow blockchain, which cost me money that I used for lunch. Each Ethereum transaction nearly cost me 50 bucks, which is crazy.
You can imagine spending 500 dollars for around 10 transactions. This can be lower than it when ethereum blockchain gets congested. This makes me feel so frustrated and i jump to the tron but since the latest update cut fees for L2 blockchain and it makes me feel that if dealing with l2 like bsc network is right decision.

this is indeed the case,tron blockchain does indeed cost more than BSC these days even most of exchange have raised the fee imposed towards withdrawal to the tron blockchain therefore personally I think BSC is better, also BSC scalability is so good even though there are significantly more dapps in BSC than in tron the fee remains low, I personally always used BSC these days never tron just because its just better.

most exchange i found only charges 0.2 USDT for transferring USDT for example and there are layer 2 of BNB called opBNB which has even lower fee if im not mistaken.
things already settled when it comes to finding lowest fee for transferring stablecoin its always BSC, hopefully ETH layer 2 could also follow this footstep of becoming low in gas fee required.

I often use both. But for shipping between exchanges then I prefer Bep20. But if the intended exchange cannot accept USDT deposits in the bep20 network. So I was forced to use trc20. but on the local exchange in my country there is an exchange that does not charge a fee for sending USDT within the TRC20 network. And I often use trc20 from that exchange. So the answer depends on which exchange you will send and receive from. But if it's between wallets then I prefer trc20.
