Currently, Bep20 is cheap, you can use it if you want, and you can easily settle transactions from it with low fees. Although TRC20 has slightly higher transaction fees, most investors use the USDT trc20 platform for transactions. But if you plan to invest, then definitely invest in good coins that will not lose your money.

BEP20 is currently what I feel especially the metamask wallet, it is quite difficult because changing or adding rpc must use vpn, but there are other wallets that do not have to bother to rpc bsc or bep20. indeed bep-20 is still very dense transactions than trc in my opinion. if you still like to send usdt until now try from the mantle chain, some time ago I tried from cex byb*t and the fee was free, maybe now it's still a promotional stage, but I'm comfortable because it's fast too, I don't know other cex because with other chains as far as I know it can cost 1$ once withdrawn. it saves me a lot for daily transactions with a small amount.

OP made this post on 25th Nov 2023 I believe OP has withdrawn his USDT by now. But it is definitely better to use BEP20 to withdraw USD because currently BEP20 withdrawal is much easier and has lower fees than TRC20.

I don't know if you sent your USDT to your address. Since you said which network will you send your USDT to. If you want to send USDT at low cost and low fee then I would suggest you to go for BSC (BEP-20) network. Because the fee of this network is very low.Today I saw 13 TRX (1.43$) fee to withdraw USDT from TRC-20 network.

OP forgot to lock the topic because it has been a month time that OP created it. This is the problem the Altcoin board has been facing and we are helpless to do anything about it. I think the best would be BEP20 which has the lowest fee and the next would be TRC20. The confirmation time for both of the blockchains is within 3 minutes, the difference is only the fee required for a transaction to confirm.

You can quickly search that on the internet. I have found one but I don't think they continuously update the fee. But you can get a clear indication on which one has the lower fee.

TRC20 used to have the lowest fee for transactions but the recently they do not allow lower fees for other token except for their own native token TRX tron.
I don't know for what use cases you are buying USDT for. But if you are looking to buy it and then deposit it somewhere else, I would suggest using Litecoin or some other assets which have lower fees.

There are many information online op can get to differentiate which one is better between Tron network and the other.
There are lots of differences between Binance smart Chain and Tron chain but what I know most is like the Binance smart is more cheaper than the Tron Chain. I think the BSC is faster since I have use the two many time before now. Op should op in to the one he find more better and easy to use for himself. There is so many information he can get online.

You need to check well and consider what OP was trying to do. He clearly stated that he want to transfer USDT and I think the reason is could be as a result of high fees on other chains. Typically, USDT is favour by Tether more than BEP-20 because Tron chain was the first to be accepted to mint USDT until when Binance smart chain was built by Binance and then they later join the race. However, BUSD was a Binance business and such didn't go well with Tether and that's why their two favorite chain remain ethereum and Tron but the fees on Ethereum is high, I will recommend Tron over BEP-20.

Tron might be congested because of the activity going on and the hence the fee hike but it's worth it, traditionally all the exchange has TRC20 option on their deposit but I can mention many of them don't support BEP-20 option, now tell me how you need to do when you buy BEP-20 USDT for deposit in case of emergency or any unforseen circumstances? What are you going to do when you don't have exchange like Binance to deposit, it will surely be a problem.

BEP20 is no doubt cheaper today. It was also said before that TRC20 was cheaper but when people shifted to another one and with all of the demand increases on one another, we always get to see the increase in fees as well. BEP20 should be cheaper, but TRC20 is more widely used. I'd go with the latter if the plan is to hold this for the long term, there's is no point in holding something that's only supported by one centralized exchange, and a couple of DEXes.

It has been most popular network for it, but every site i have used that has accepted TRC20 has also accept BEP20. They are both widely used compared to some new networks like arbitrum, which i would prefer for a long run. As in the future anything cheap and reliable will be adopted as the prices of tx fees will rise with the adoption.

But i really wouldn't mind using either one of the choises OP has. If the fee is under $1 it's nearly free in my book.

You are not wrong, because in fact currently transaction fees on BEP20 are cheaper than on TRC20 and everyone in this thread has admitted it. Maybe this happened because many people switched to TRC20 and caused transactions on TRC20 to increase which resulted in transaction fees also increasing. but eventually they will return at BEP20
