I am very curious to see how Brazil will play because they were doing very badly. I hope they recover and can have a good Copa America. I just remember that team where Kaka, Ronaldo and Dinho were. With those players it was enough to scare the other teams because when they went out on the field they were titans, the way they moved and played. With them alone it was enough to win a World Cup. At that time I admire how France was able to snatch the World Cup from Brazil with Zidane and Deschamps, who played very well, and obviously with the help of titi Henry. I want to see Brasil at the same level as those titans.

In my own opinion I think the Brazil national team stands a good chance of winning the Copa America this summer despite not having a high profile manager in the dugout.

I disagree with this. Brazil will either work as a team, or it won't work at all. Individual brilliance won't help them at all. The teams in the Copa America are very disciplined and compact, teams would find it very difficult to penetrate their opponents if they don't play as a team.
Secondly, I don't see anybody in Brazil who is good enough to win games for them and lead them with individual brilliance. Neymar is not here, Vinicius is not representing, Rodrygo is the only attacker that can step up and I don't believe even he has what it takes to individually take Brazil to the trophy.

When you watch Argentina, you'll see that they play as a team, even Messi plays with his teammates. That makes things easier for them. It is this reason that makes me rate Uruguay slightly above Brazil in this tournament. It's going to be interesting to watch.

I said at the beginning that the competition in the Copa America is always between two teams, Brazil and Argentina. Other than Brazil and Argentina, the other teams can win the trophy in less time. Brazil announced their best team ahead of the Copa America, on the other hand, we have seen Argentina always announce their best team since the World Cup. Not much has changed from Argentina's World Cup squad to the Copa America squad, but Brazil's squad has changed considerably. The way Brazil has performed in recent matches we can expect Brazil to do well.

It should be like that, the star players of the past were just icons, they no longer had running speed, stamina or other important things in the game. Look at how much hype there was when Cristiano went to the SPL, it created another wave of moves for other European players.

I don't believe that EGO can hinder the performance of the Argentine national team. They have been playing consistently for many years and are always competing for titles. It's no wonder that they have reached the final twice in the last 3 World Cups (2014 and 2022). This generation of Argentine players is very good.

Right, it is unlikely to happen, since they have showed themselves to be professionals and handle victories and defeats in a good way. Always searching for improvement of their skills. I only mentioned it because it is something I have seen happening to other teams of world class against other teams which were supposed not to be as prepared as they were, and the favorite team ended up losing for whatever reason.
Ego is always bad in any sport, because it leads to underestimate de abilities of the foe team, and opens the gates to blunts.
Only time will sell whether Argentina will keep their ego aside and do not underestimate their future opponents in the American Cup.

This evening at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany kick started the 2024 UEFA Euros Championship against Scotland of which they convincingly defeated the British nation with a 5:1 scoreline. Now that the Euros have kicked off, football fans across the globe are now eagerly waiting for the kickoff of the Copa America so that the summer will become more interesting and eventful. In a week time, the first game of this year's Copa America will be played between Argentina and Canada. Canada as we all know isn't known to be a strong football nation so I don't expect them to get a result against the world champions.
Argentina will definitely win the game and probably with a wide margin. The interesting games of the tournament I think will start in the knockout stages where strong teams will meet other strong teams.

You are right mate,too much of talent is not even good to me.A team will be packed with stars and they will end up achieving nothing incredible at the end of the season.For a country or a team to perform well,it's not because there are so many big name or bright starts in the team,it is because they have team spirit in them.If you look at PSG when they had Neymar, Mbape and Messi,they were not able to win the Champions league.where on earth will you get that three combination and you won't say they will win the Champions league.Football will humble you.All a team need is a good coach,determined players who are ready to work,and have team spirit.If you can get all these,then you are good to go.

Argentina isn't the host of the current edition of the Copa America, this competition is attended by 10 teams from CONMBEOL & 6 teams from CONCACAF and the host this time is US. I also wonder why the opening match was not played by the host team, instead it went to Argentina - Canada.

Argentina's normal handicap in this match is - 0.5 to - 0.75, so I think it will be very difficult for Argentina to win with Messi scoring too. Take a look at the betting markets and you will realize that we'll have more advantages if we go to Canada on handicap betting.

This is hard match for Canada because in the first match of this tournament Canada have to facing defending champion Argentina and i think their consistency will be tested in this match because we all know Argentina is one of the strongest team in this tournament with Brazil and before playing in this tournament Canada has been done several friendlies matches against European teams such as France and Netherlands but the match against France is really impressive because Canada can playing draw against this team

I agree that Argentina and Brazil are always candidates to appear in the final. Because if you look at the opportunities of other countries, the opportunities are not that big. Argentina has a capable squad but Brazil is also much more capable and evenly matched in every line. I have no other choice to win the trophy at the Copa America apart from these 2 countries. Brazil front line can attack from various positions, Brazil midfield and back line are very solid, just like Argentina where Messi, De Maria and Garnacho have troublesome abilities, midfield, defenders and goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez are still goalkeepers who are difficult to penetrate.
