This game was not only uninteresting as you said but it was very shocking to everyone. It was very unfortunate for Brazil team not to be able to secure a goal against a weak team as Costa Rica. Brazil and England suffered same fate and couldn't find a way to secure the three points to themselves. So far, Argentina has the brightest look in this current edition of the Copa America tournament and if they take this consistency to the knockout stage, they will certainly get to the finals.

I don’t think we should expect much from the group stage. Brazil obviously dropped two points from this game, but they are unlikely to have a problem beating any two teams in Group D to qualify for the knockout stages. But now they have no room for error. If they do do it, it will be a disaster for a tournament where everything is done in such a way that Brazil and Argentina will play in the final.

I watched my first Copa America game of the current tournament — Chile vs Argentina game. First off, compared to the Euros, it was much more lively and entertaining to watch. But I have a question. Are all Copa America games played like there's a war? Some of the tackles today looked like the players had grudges with each other. It reminded me of El Classico game with Messi and Ronaldo as rivals and Pepe + Sergio Ramos in Madrid's defense too. It was a joy to watch even though some of those tackles were just outright terrible.

I will be following up the remainder of the tournament. It is binge worthy in my books. Only problem is most of the games are played between 2-5am in my local time.

Argentina are good no doubt but what I observed is that they support each other in every game they play, not that they're better than Brazil no, is just that they are more organized than the Brazil national team. Check it properly, Brazil have more better players than Argentina but they're struggling to get a win and believe me that Argentina are not putting much effort in this competition, is like they're already in the finals and the other countries are trying to meet up. I can't say Messi and his teammates are the favorite until we see how poor the other teams are that's when I can say but for now Brazil is number 1 favorite to win the tournament.

Remember the World Cup in Qatar and how Argentina got started against Saudi Arabia, it was horrible! They lost their first game in the group stage 1-2 against Saudi Arabia. At that point in time I am convinced that 95% of the world except for the Argentinians thought that this World Cup is over for them rather sooner than later.

To me it seems that Argentina is almost never doing more than necessary to get get through those group stages. I can't remember when they marched through it in an unstoppable way. It always looks bumpy, way too close if you consider their quality and compare it to their opponents. In a normal scenario Argentina should clearly win that game by a 3 goal margin or something. But they don't and it was the same at the World Cup where they got started even worse.

I think that there are no easy opponents in the sense that you could expect Argentina to win every game like 3-0, but I would think that with a squad like that the game should never be a sweat for them until the end. But they have got the job done.

Same with Brazil though. They could really pull off a disaster beyond expectation. Their World Cup qualification is going anything but well. And now they have something like a final on gameday 2. If they lose that game against Panama for some weird reasons, shit is going to hin the fan there. I would not like to be a harcore Brazil fan these days.

Overall, in regards to consistency, I think it is quite obvious that Argentina is the favorite for the time being.
