The position of the Ethereum coin after Bitcoin. Ether has the highest price among all the altcoins out there. Many invest in Ethereum coins as an investment choice. I have investments in Bitcoin and some money I have invested in Ethereum. Although Ethereum rose to $4k this year, the price has now taken a substantial correction above $3.1k. In the current market I am looking to invest some more in Ethereum, I am hopeful that a major bull run will begin at the end of the year when Ethereum will enter new highs in price.

I have tested other altcoins in the market, that made me to think that ETH is the best to invest among the altcoins and their team are doing very well, to ensure they continue handling the second position among other cryptocurrencies because whenever the price of BTC is leading in the market, ETH  price will be in second position.

The price of ETH investors was waiting to hit in the market before they can sell to make profits, hit the market early this year which is the highest price ETH has reached in this year 2024 that made me to believe that ETH will going to be my favorite project because it has showcased some signs that convinced me in this year to invest again.

I don't use to hodl my coins in a short period of time because it will not give me what I want from the hodling, which is the reason I used to hodl for long periods of time to achieve my goal.

What do you mean by trusting the team? Don't you know that ethereum has been around for more than 9 years! Despite the fact that crypto are risky and the teams are also risky, Ethereum and Vitalik Buterin is the least person that would scam you, there is nothing to fear about the team. They have more update and many things from their road map for 2024 and I think it's a better choice of investment for 2024.

If you are considering ethereum as a primary coin to buy, I suggest you to try coins that are highly groomed by ethereum team as well, I mean projects that are supported by ethereum foundations like the Optimizm, Arbitrum. These projects are well engineered by the ethereum team and are working hand in hand to support ethereum network, they have utility on their own and has on ethereum as secondary layer.

As you said Ethereum is the second in the market after Bitcoin among the most bought and trusted cryptocurrencies, no doubt, but we have also seen times when Ethereum was at $900, that's why everyone advises before investing in big coins to either adopt DCA method or analyse the market well to avoid later regrets and losses. There is no doubt that ETH is a good project, but it is also important to keep in mind that it is a long-term investment project.

I think we should invest in trading the money we dare to lose, money kept for necessity should not be invested in any coin be it Bitcoin or any other altcoin because it can lead to our loss, it becomes impossible to wait for a long time if the necessary money is invested somewhere.

Ethereum is good but if you only invest on Ethereum you can maybe earn but not as big as the investors who invest in different altcoins, it is still you're choice, we have different choice of coins defending on our budget, i also wanted to invest on a top 200 altcoins but im out of funds so i only select whats best coin for me and invest an amount that i can afford to lose, for me ethereum is a good choice but you also need to choose maybe 3 to 4 altcoins  to earn more.

As eth is most save and considered as secure investment. So if anyone ask me to buy any altcoin as an investment then I'll definitely pick eth as my favorite altcoin. I think who and you have enough money and you don't want to take risk, that time eth and Bitcoin is enough. There may be many really good cryptocurrencies out there, like the likes of Ravencoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin and so many others that have seen a lot of increase this year, but Ethereum still remains the first & highest altcoins and the best investment decision. Agree, Ethereum is indeed a project that has stood the test of time and has long held the top 2 position on CMC. My choice this year also leans towards layer 2 projects based on Ethereum. Many projects have emerged, showing great potential for this year. Looking at the current market, I see that ETH is confidently heading towards the $3000 mark.

Good thing you understand the importance of holding your coins and not involving yourself in short-term trading which by now you would have panicked and sold your coins. I also hope you are not only waiting to get back your capital but also willing to invest more into Ethereum and hold longer. I think he is only being careful there and there are still very old companies that manage to collapse. And even though ETH is old and some people think there is nothing wrong with their team, other people can think they are shady and the coins stats and can tell it. Again, a normal person won't see nothing wrong with it but an expert can. Even if ETH is not our main coin, it is still possible for us to check those other coins you have listed there but I think yeah that an ETH/altcoin die-hard fans can appreciate them more and the reason on why some choose BTC as their primary coin is because they think there is no other crypto that is better than it.
