IMO, it's not a happy season to spend more only on gambling, but well, it depends on you and your family preferences. Your kids might want to go for gaming, a picnic, or something more intriguing, and you can only spend more on gambling when you actually have enough morning money to spend on the needs that matter more. I have some budgets that are filled and more important bills to settle; gambling has only a small budget, and family got some more percentage, so also the next-year budget has been put in place.

Yes, not everyone would really be happy on having that new shoes,gadgets, clothes or what but most of the time we do really love on having these materials on which it is really that a common request. If you do have a family which is something like this then it would really be that better or wise that you should be skipping on spending with gambling and would really be just be buying into those things as presents with this holiday season.
We do know that we could really be only have that once a year kind of event or season on which it isnt really that bad that we would be allocating something for those kind of things.
Dont really make yourself that too tight when it comes to spending because if you do gamble out money, then those huge losses wont really be affecting you. 

If you do have that kind of family on which do really loves to travel or would really be liking to go on doing some activities on this festive season then it wont really be that bad
on considering on trying out to mingle with them and make it really happen. Specially if you are already that a dad or father then these kind of bondings

I'm surprise that only few have voted on the poll on, "spending less" this holiday.

Come on guys! This is a holiday season, we are suppose to have more fun, and as a gambler, we cannot forget betting more so we will entertain more. I mean, more bets, more fun, that should be our motto.

BTW, we can replace the word "spending"  to "gambling", as using spending doesn't imply we have a chance of doubling our money.

Because you may planned to hold for the next year expenses or may hold for the new year expenses itself.This is year end and the Christmas holiday,So the gamblers should ready to spend the time in the gambling site to have fun and enjoyment.The gamblers who ready to spend more will get more fun using the same gambling site.

Next year's income will take care of next year's expenses. Come one, Christmas comes once in a month only, that means you have 11 months to save for the season. It's not a good excuse about saving as Christmas is all about spending, and we spend to have fun, to enjoy with out love ones. I won't be spending more, I don't see any reason to chance my budget all because It's the Christmas time, For other individual thinking if increasing their gambling budget, they should know that they're increasing the amount of money they can also lose and during this time itllybe good you save money instead of losing money. For me, I don't even plan on gambling this Holiday, these few weeks has been pretty bad for me with gambling, and I've just decided to take a break at least for now, maybe I can start again next year. I've went as far as deleting all my casinos apps, I've lost more than enough these few weeks and it's still going on, so to prevent myself from loosing more money, I feel taking a break would be best, besides I've got so much to do this Holiday in preparation for next year and I can't afford to loose more money to the casino.

Yes, holiday season is really just that once a year kind of happening or event on which it is really just that right that you should be spending up some time with your family.

Only a fool would prioritize gambling over their family and their joy no matter what the occasion is, if you are getting a bonus and you are not a wealthy person who has a lot of money or savings, you should spend the money to make the holiday season for enjoyable for your family and cherish the moments that you get to spend with them. Well there are games that can change someone's life thru gambling and that is winning the lottery. But we all know that the chances are very small on that one. This period of the year  calls for proper planning because there's a lot of expenses already  piled up and waiting to be taken  care of. For me, all my excess funds must be put to proper budgeting bearing in mind that January is just around the corner and from my previous experience, that month its a nightmare if not properly planned for. House rents are renewed, school fees are paid, a lot of spending are made so one got to be very more than careful how funds are used this period. In my own plan, I cut down my gambling budget from 7% to 3% to minimize funds wastage this period and accommodate all necessities. We continue normal mode next year February.

I'm sure for most gamblers here, regardless if they have a Christmas or Holiday bonus, their gambling activity won't be changed and maybe they will even add more budget to their gambling session. I will stick to my monthly budget, I would neither increase nor decrease the fund allocation for gambling.  Even though the holiday season brings more expenses, there are also some additional sources of income that can offset that increase in expenses. So I am staying with my usual bankroll fund allocation.

My holiday bonus is also budgeted already and it's not that all of those money will just be spent only for gifts purposes. Yes, not every gambler is in it for the financial return, I learnt that. But the majority of gambling, the actually majority are in it for the financial gain. They want to either solve an existing financial problem or they want to solve a coming financial problem.
