Cloudflare and other captchas have been disabled for the AML checker, and now self-hosted Anubis is used for verification before entering the AML chcker website.

I noticed that traffic to the AML checker was almost zero for the last few days, so I suspected it was all the captchas which caused this.

Good move. For a tool like this, heavy captchas can easily kill conversion, especially when users just want to run one quick check.

Self-hosted verification also fits the privacy-focused nature of the project much better.

Guys, should I redesign the BitMixList UI to be more of a "privacy tools" directory?

It's just a random idea I had to increase traffic.

That is good idea. The current User interface of the BitMixList is good but we believed in privacy in the crypto space however it will be very good if the UI is redesign to the "privacy tools" directory.

Not sure why I was under the impression that the AML Score checker was free to use for the first check I imagine I'm getting an error because I don't have any money in the account, so it might be a good idea to show a proper error instead of just saying "error occured, please contact support".

It actually does return insufficient credits error in the backend, it just didn't display it on the site. I updated it now.

Service reviews on BitMixList

Soon, we will begin publishing the reviews of service testing on the main website, and also on our social presence, Bitcointalk and Altcoinstalks threads. We have already started publishing service reviews on their announcement threads.

Additionally, historical user feedback of services on forums will also be displayed on the site. For Bitcointalk, this will be automated. In the case of Altcoinstalks, I will need to include such information manually.

We are going to be working on this over the next week or so and hopefully it will be available by then.

We have performed a major upgrade to the AML checker, and completely replaced the old Telegram-based backend with an API. This allows the AML checker to become more reliable.

The checker is now using BitOK checks. These are closely aligned to the results that AMLbot generates.

We hope to see more users checking their addresses and protecting their coins from institutionalized theft.
