OP, heed the advice of the more experienced members of the forum, be careful about using web wallets, you're better off storing it in exchanges if you're going to go there, haven't you heard already about the scams that involves these web wallets? You better check them out first and decide for yourself if it's still a good idea to store your bitcoins in a web wallet.

As mentioned above, web wallets are probably something you should stay away from but if you want something in your browser, then any extension should do. There are plenty of them: Trustwallet, SafePal, etc. all have browser extensions and support BTC.
TrustWallet seems to be a go to wallet recommendation, is it really good? I've heard that it's a non-custodial one and I want to check it out if it's available on the phone, really helpful stuff if I can store my bitcoins somewhere safe so I'm not different from others here in the forum.

Well, they claim to be noncustodial. We have no way to check whether that's true or not. I do occasionally have some issues with the wallet but nothing major. I wouldn't recommend it for storing any large amount though.

Going to put that in consideration, I need to find a wallet to store my bitcoin as soon as possible so I don't have to wait for Binance to shut down here in my country, maybe I can go back to using Binance if using a VPN is a possibility, I don't like using wallets to move my bitcoin because of tx fees. No worries about large amounts of bitcoin, if I had any, I wouldn't be storing it anywhere Smiley.

Hello friend, common, you are not in the old times anymore.

I was surprised to see you asked these questions, perhaps you have not been reading the important parts of the forum since you opened your account as I can see you are not a new member here as such. I know many crypto web wallets but I advise you not to use them at all and I will not even add them since I can't use them myself.

I don't possibly know the reason why you would want to use web wallets at this current age when people are now smarter about Bitcoin transactions, but one thing I know is that the decision can't ever be smart. My experience about them is bad and aside from that you should be worried about the security of your account. Also, you might be regularly parting ways with a higher transaction fee, I mean insane transaction fees.

I do agree the non-web wallet thingy that people are saying. Electrum for example is a great one, it's not online and you do not have to worry about a company going under for your entire savings to go away. I get that it's a lot more easy to use a web wallet because it's right there and you just click a few buttons and suddenly you have the money, that does sound like a great thing I agree, but also it's a very risky thing.

Blockchain.com (used to be .info) is a great place and if you really want to use that then you can use that, I would not suggest any other place, I would always suggest one that is you download and use, proper wallets are like that and online ones are not all that crazy and should not be considered all that great.

We can't recommend something that we are against of. Your coins are in danger if you use web wallets like blockchain.com. Your best bet is to use Electrum or Sparrow.

maybe I can go back to using Binance if using a VPN is a possibility
Do not use VPN to access your Binance account if they are getting banned in your country. If you have dual citizenship or even more and Binance operates without problem in that country, you can use that as an advantage and ask Binance support to update your KYC info and this will let you to continue using their service without problems. You will probably have to access them via VPN but don't use free or most paid VPNs, you need VPN with unique IP address that belongs only you.

It does sound like op is out of the loop seeing how they used the old "blockchain.info" domain haha. IIRC web wallets were a thing back then especially for day to day transactions however, I'd say even back then there were far better choices for this type of use case.

Fast forward, web wallets have lost most of its appeal to the general users. I can't remember the names but a couple of long time competitors to blockchain.com web wallet have also shut down most likely because of the lack of usage.

If this is about convenience, op. There are some feature packed mobile wallets out there, I suggest taking a look, see: https://bitcoiner.guide/wallet/mobile/

Web wallets are most insecure kind of wallet available although it's convenient because you can use it anytime and any device, but i won't recommended anything like that. I remember wallets like xapo wallets are use to be a web wallets, they become mobile and shitty like blockchain.com, now they are lot of them.

Wallets should be safe and secured first, there are many mobile and desktop wallets that most recommended like electrum and green wallet. If you have the budget for fancy and secured onces, hardware wallets is on the go.

Perhaps try coin.space?

Though I wonder why a web wallet?
Since it's just choice, then why not choose something noncustodial and open source. coin.space has both of these features. It also has software versions of the wallet and it's supports multiple cryptocurrencies.

If you are looking for web wallets, you have blockchain.info and trustwallet.com but I strongly suggest you to do not use them. Still if you decide to use them, at least generate an address and import, don't rely on the address that they generate because you have 0 access to keys.
To be fair, the blockchain.info wallet is annoying, you need to verify email every time you try to log in. It's good for security but it's not comfortable. For safety reasons, I suggest you use electrum wallet. I know it doesn't have the best UI/UX design but it's the best choice in terms of safety.

I tend to agree, I'd rather prefer to use a trusted software wallet than a web wallet like blockchain.info.
There are a lot of complaints against them like losing their fund, blocking or freezing their accounts, the worst case, there's no customer support to answer your queries once there's a problem.

Straight forward to the software wallet Electrum, you have full control over your keys.  It's completely no KYC.

If you are looking for web wallets, you have blockchain.info and trustwallet.com
Trustwallet only supports the mobile version and browser extension, it isn't a web category.

Basically the web wallet service is very limited, technically this wallet isn't recommended at all and there aren't many fans as it can't be integrated into the dapps ecosystem in a practical way.

I tend to agree, I'd rather prefer to use a trusted software wallet than a web wallet like blockchain.info.
There are a lot of complaints against them like losing their fund, blocking or freezing their accounts, the worst case, there's no customer support to answer your queries once there's a problem.
In fairness to them when I've contacted the support when I was still using it on my beginning years, they're responding to me and that's during the blockchain.info days domain but now, they've become blockchain.com. I have no idea if that's still the same as today but when you've said that there's no support that answers the queries of their users, maybe that's how they are right now. And not just about these blocking, freezing of funds, sometimes worst case scenarios can happen to a user, I think the most important part here is that you don't own the keys there. They will provide you mnemonic words but that's just for the account and not your fund as is you actually own and hold it.

Straight forward to the software wallet Electrum, you have full control over your keys.  It's completely no KYC.
100%.
Liteweight and much better than a web wallet such as blockchain.com. Recommended by the majority on this community.

It also depends on how complex the questions are. IIRC even during .info days they did have a poor support reputation (this ranged from slow response to canned answers) here and on reddit but I wouldn't say the threads I've seen were mostly simple queries.

I think the most important part here is that you don't own the keys there. They will provide you mnemonic words but that's just for the account and not your fund as is you actually own and hold it.

On their private key wallets (note: they call this defi wallet now lol), they actually give the keys. The "backup phrase" or the seed can be used to import on electrum and spend UTXOs. But it's worth noting that you'd have an encrypted wallet file on blockchain.com's end.

I guess so, since the problem that I've got before were too simple and I even found an answer on their FAQ.

So that means that they literally have given that private key/back up phrase to their users. But knowing as you've said that they'll have a file or copy of it whether it is encrypted, that's still kind of sus IMO.

The first two wallets are better because they give you a seed phrase for recovery. The third one uses its own recovery format, so you have to rely on their server.

One more wallet which supports traditional seed phrases is available on https://app.silentium.dev

Silentium wallet offers a unique solution for keeping your addresses secret from everyone except those sending you transactions. By pressing the "Receive" button, you get a silent address (which looks like this: sp1qqgk4g47pvtmrcxjdz7gx0q6hsj99q768vyft8tfdf2sphaf29v0e6q6u40zeld8zvrcluqtkhah 7pkvy0uja0clh778n4zxcnfe6y57tj5gs8yf9). You can publish this address, and any other Silentium wallet user can send bitcoins to it. The sender enters the recipient's silent address into their Silentium wallet, which then converts it into a Taproot address derived from the recipient's seed phrase. The wallet’s choice of the specific Taproot address for the recipient also depends on the sender's address, preventing two different senders from sending transactions to the same Taproot address of the recipient. Each time the same silent address is used, a new unique P2TR address for the recipient is generated.

As a result, if I publish my address, no one can see when and how many bitcoins I received. This address does not appear in the blockchain, and all transactions sent to it actually go to other addresses.

guarda.com

I don't know about the other wallet but for Guarda.com. Users should use it with caution. They offer a backup downloads of a text file containing your encrypt private keys. There is no option to back up seeds. You can only use that text file on Guarda as far as I know. Should Guard disappear, your downloaded back-up is useless and might not access your funds forever.

Importing to another wallet is also a pain. You have to import individual private keys of different coins.

Along with that it's a closed source wallet for years but still most people and even Google assumes its open sourced wallet that itself a red flag and probable cause for not using it. And anyway why someone needs web wallet when they can simply install non custodial wallet such as electrum for Android and blue wallet for IOS.
