Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hello, guys!

First post here, I'm from Brazil, and have been handling BTC for a few days now.
Just got to know Bitcoin Forum, and decided to register at once.

Really excited as to what I can learn here!

Hi TheDwarf,

Welcome to the forum and to Bitcoins! The other types of non-Bitcoins are all called "altcoins", which include things like Feathercoins. Here is a list of many different coins: http://altcoins.com/

Hello! Yet another forum lurker that only now had the need to post a question. Thanks for all the previous answers, everybody Smiley

Already have some bitcoins, and starting to fiddle with StableCoin now.

Cheers!

Horrible that new accounts are restricted to this section. I have a corruption issue with the Bitcoin-qt ap and was trying to provide feedback on the various betas.

Been reading.... And Testing....

Also, where are the facts/ Guidelines? I cant stay in here for long. Great way to discourage posters. Or possibly those that can assist.

Just got some BEs and red furys ordered at decent values before the prices shot up recently. I can't believe my hardware are worth 50% more now.

Second that .. But I assume "easy money centered" (be it real or imaginary) forums have their challenges in the quality of incoming crowds.

I just hope that they have some kind of newbie 101 thread rather than having a 'hang out' thread.. but then again, newbies would be able to have some sort of understanding when they just lurk at the different threads in here.

Hello everyone, new to everything bitcoin.

Registering is hard and some time based restrictions are for what?!

Anyways, this hangout thread sure is the way to wander around. Meanwhile let's all start some silly discussion,

Newbie Question: How much bandwidth does bit coin mining process consume?, I've no clue at all,
so anybody here aware of any insight?  Grin Heard about electricity usage and all, but curious to know about network usage and more of about it.

-- Keep asking silly questions fellow newbies ./ Wink
