Would you consider buying Bitcoin and forgetting for 2-3 years as trading or investment? If you don't actively trade it and buy one time for the long term to invest, is it still trading? So, if we take away all of the things you have stated then what would be left is to offer your talent or services or sell products. Essentially, you have to still invest your own work, time, and a bit of money to gain money. There is nothing wrong with either of those things.  Once you work, then you have money to invest, and that's how you "gain money".   So get a job and get a side job if needed, that's really what seems to be the answer to the question here.
