When do you take out your investment when in profit?

They are one of the largest sol holder in the market right now and it seems they have some strong backing from the industry otherwise this drastic rally only because of airdrop speculation doesn't make sense. Airdrop doesn't have this much liquidity to pump the price. The sol ecosystem management team has a strong market maker who is pumping the price and late investor can be the victims if there is a crash upcoming.

The best time we can take our profits from trading our investment we have make is whwn we realized that we have made profits from the market. The crypto market is big having thousands of crypto projects and more are still loading. We need to make sure that have made profit from the investment before we have the mindset or selling what we are holding. Crypto market has different ways we can trade it and make profits from the market. We don't have to be roo desperate for us to make profits from the market.

That means you will sell off your 10k worth of crypto even if you make $100 in profits from it? What is the point of risking that much money only to get a 1% return? In my opinion we should let our investment grow as long as the market is strong, the project is doing really well, and they have an active and vibrant community. Crypto is a risky place and altcoin is super-risky and high-rewards investment class. If you are looking for 1% to 10% then you should invest in some stock. In altcoin people are looking for project that can give them multipleX profits.

Pull out if you are satisfied already; greed is never a good thing. Indeed majority of the coins in the market have experienced huge pump but given these tokens are most of the time only good for short term holding, then avoid too much greed. If you are already having a feeling and if the charts said so, at least secure a portion of it. On my end I am usually taking 20% of the total profit especially if there is a bit of resistance with the market price 'coz in such way, whatever happens will still leave me with profit. Pushing all of it through will just put me in a bigger risk. I have experienced winning 200%+ then due to greed I did not pull out that tike and just sleep. Just overnight I am already in 67% loss due to the sudden dump in the value of that coin. We just never know what will happen next especially at this point wherein volatility is to high. There is also a confusion still whether bullrun has started already or not.

Also, the market price of any crypto won't continuously increase in a consistent manner; there will always be price consolidations in every resistance levels. Let us normalize taking home some of the profit than to be left with nothing or worse, with loss, if things will not be managed properly.

We need to learn lots of ways for us to make money in the market not just the regular way of investing and taking profits from the market. Life is easier when you're with with winning team, you anticipated with good activities that yields profits, no one has the tendency to withstand the pressures from the market when it's in crucial postions but we can sure of our strategies implemented. The market becomes favorable only when we're open to triggered good entries in the system, everyone just have to hold onto what's available in the system. I'm not greedy, I'm making my calculating tactics on dealing with the system. If you have invested in altcoins and have made this significant profit as you’ve said, maybe it’s time for you to take out your profit from the investment. We all know altcoins are risky investments but when you’re lucky, you can make a lot within a short time. While many are totally shit coins, some fews that make it up to some significant points, take your profits from them before they also start crashing. You’ve made smart investments by choosing those coins you invested in, the market is not looking good for many altcoins now, and getting 3X or 4X profits from an altcoin investment should be appreciated. Whether it is Altcoins or Bitcoin, they are all risky but considering the common behavior of these altcoins, it is found to be relevant to not waiting it long to sell. A decision to sell is the best option for them once seeing it pump as we can never expect such momentum to take long, it just rises for a while and dumps after the surge. when you have been in crypto for more than 4 years and have been from a bull market to a bear, you'll definitely become smarter in the next bull run. there is no way you will wait for the bear market and the price of your altcoins to sink again before selling. right at its peak the smart investor may already have sold them all.

It all depends on the investor, before investing one needs to have a well drafted plan of what to do in any situation  that comes his/her way because we are all aware of the market behavior of cryptocurrency and the volatile nature of it. Altcoins can be profitable but despite that only the smart ones can make profit from them because it is not about investing but how you manage your gains. We should always always have a plan of taking out profits or taking our capital after amassing a certain percentage of profits.

Altscoins are not so reliable even though they can be profitable that’s why it is important to carry out proper research on any alts we plan to invest in because in a short period they can lose so much value. I don’t believe so much in alts but i have eyes for few alts and I intend to take profits at certain intervals during the bull market.

It just depends on what coins you are trying to invest. For top altcoins most of the time 5X is just takes years unless there is something going on, most likely you will lose if you are expecting something high. Most of the time unless you have read the news, the big pump comes from nowhere so you wouldn't expect it.

Just set the threshold like 30% - 50% for me personally and then you can check for other coins or wait until the price comes down again and once again it depends on people skill and knowledge regarding this thing.

Before I invest in any project, I always have a plans on when I will like to take my profit, and I always do some research before I invest in any project, whether it is a new project or an old project that I know much about.that where I will know the risk I can take with I project.

I have invested in many projects and some of they are done 5x for me and still I have not take out my profits because I take less risk with those projects like just invest a very small amount of money that I will hardly think about when I lose it, I still never take out my investments profits because it possible that those projects to letter do even 100x and if possible they done 100x above I will seriously make huge profits from the small amount I invested in those projects. but for any old projects that I know they have good reputation I  do invest some good amount but it is what I can afford to lose and when I see them do 3x or 4x I always take out my investment profits because I believe it will hardly do 100x and even it will do it it may take it a very long time.

Well, it will be a wise decision, when you take the profits you have, or at least take your main capital when you are making big profits. However, many people are greedy when they are in an advantageous position. it's like they hoped the price would go higher, and didn't take the decision to sell some of their investments. Well, it's not wrong, but the risk is very high.
Personally, I often sell when I make a profit, either I sell and take the profit before reinvesting, or I sell to take out my capital, and use the profit to try to take a bigger profit.
