Yeah, we heard this kind of advise already and takes to the OP for the reminder. However, it's more to it, I mean having a limit is good but most of the times there are gamblers that are really out of control or even beginners because maybe they think that they can win or play more money to enjoy and have some fun.

It boils down to self control, as long as you can control yourself, specially in losing. Because that could be the start if you lose and then didn't take a break. So we need to take control and not let our emotions get the better of our selves and then becoming addicts because we didn't take a break or trying to recoup our losses.

As a responsible gambler you need to make up your mind that gambling isn't your source of income, that you are doing it to waste away from time and make sure you having fun from doing so, this is the most healthy way to become a gambler, the hard truth people don't want to hear about gambling is that gambling will only make 0.25% of people rich and the rest won't make life changing money through gambling.

Gambling is entertainment through and through, even if you do it in a responsible way.  At the end of the day, it's not meant to be a consistent income stream.  The odds are against you so it's really hard to actually turn a profit over the long run.  There are some lucky few who can win big, but most people end up losing over time. 

Trading cryptos and whatnot can make more money compared to gambling.  But it's a risky thing too and  you gotta have lots of specialized smarts in that area patience to wait out the bad times, and self-control so your emotions dont rule your choices.  Seasoned traders still lose sometimes and go through down periods money-wise.  So for both gambling and trading, consistency is elusive.  That's part of why they attract folks looking for a rush or thrill.  But steady careers and entrepreneurship do better for dependable income.

I agree. That's a pretty small amount, so even if you lose it all, it probably wont hurt you too bad financially.  But even more important is that you gotta set some kind of budget for gambling and actually stick to it.

It boils down to self control, as long as you can control yourself, specially in losing. Because that could be the start if you lose and then didn't take a break. You are right by the way, self control in gambling is something a player must practise from the very beginning of their their gaming journey, in other for the gambler to get used to it and have it as part of him, this among several other benefits will ensure that that the gambler never fall into that pit of gambling addiction.
Self control is very important to practise as long as responsible gambling is concerned, so no matter the excitement one feels while gambling, he or she must know when to stop and  look for some other things to do so as to find some balance.

But for the already addicted player or gambler, self control is completely impossible, an addicted gambler cant control him or herself, which is why we refer to them as addicted in the first place, so what an addicted gambler need to do is, first, find a way to get free from gambling addiction, leave gambling completely for like a year or two years for their brain to reset itself and get used to functioning properly without gambling, then after this healing process is over, the player can decide if he or she still wants to gamble, if yes, then he or she can start over again and make sure to this time, put in practise, all the responsible gambling tips like the ones mentioned by the op.

If you don't have a source of income, trust me you will never become a responsible gambler, you will make all the mistakes in the book and you will be let with nothing, source of income is very important, it is the first step to take if you want to safely become a smart gambler.

It's not always about how many money you will make, trust me, it's about how many time you can afford to lose before you win some money, if you are not ready to experience this well it's better you look else where, many gamblers don't know about this, all their minds are fixed on when they will make money.

Making extra income and getting rich are two different goals. Gambling to have an extra income is not a bad idea because they reason why everyone gambles is to win. I don't think anyone gambles just to lose and help the casino make more profit. I gamble mainly because of fun but I also expect to make some money from it. It becomes a challenge when you begin to rely on gambling as a source of income. Some persons begin to make budget and include the money they are projecting to win as an income. Believing that gambling will make you rich is the pathway to gambling addiction and frustration.

Gambling responsibly has no way an effect in winning a session.  Since gambling game result is random, More often than not, it is the luck that makes a gambler win his bet.

I mean, responsible gambling has a positive value in avoiding addiction because gamblers can set the percentage of money that will be allocated for gambling without caring about the results in the game. Losing and winning will be considered part of the game. If the results of gambling are random, not all players play games that test luck because players also often play gambling games that involve skill.

As for the gambling responsibly, it is one of the approach of player in order to minimize losses and get addicted to the gambling games.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this title many times here in the gambling section and it would probably be better to be move on to gambling discussions.

Anyway, I understand both of your points here and I think it is necessary if you going to start gambling and trading responsibly. At the same time, I think these two gambling and forex trading were not something that you could probably do every day where you could expect a huge amount of profit or return since the way I see it is there are always winners and losers here in these kinds of platforms. You could get positive results sometimes but for sure it is not possible to always win every time on these platforms. So just dont put a high percentage of investment on gambling probably a very low percentage of your income is the best thing to do, even on forex trading there are some traders that might tell you that is it guaranteed profit which is not really true since you could always lose your money on trading, similar to gambling there will be losers and winners.

back to the topic, most gamblers only read for reading sake..; if they could register on sites without even reading 'em T/C's, how much more on reading threads that'd help reduce the risk of addiction or increase responsible gambling??  Some gamblers don't even know when they get addicted... Very interesting because you have stated some of the things one need to know to stay safe as a gambler. There are other things we need to put in consideration for us to benefit high from gambling. Gambling can be very addictive if we don't know how to go about it. There are newbies that are always falling victim of loses everytime they bet. Once we know oue wickedness, it is good for us to work on it so that we can make  profits from the gambling. We can make good profits in gambling if we have good strategy that will keep putting profits on our table.

A gambler who is not responsible In their gambling activities will hardly be able to only play gambling with only money they are willing and can afford to loss easily.

So, in nutshell, it is actually and completely possible to practice responsible gambling, I mean, I myself is a regular gambler sometimes, if I don't practice responsible gambling, I probably will be spending all my weekly earnings on gambling alone, which could have been very bad to be honest, remove responsible from gambling, then it means the gambler is an addict, so, for gambler to safely, without regrets of any kind, participate in gambling week day and week out, it simply means that such a gambler is a responsible one.

that is true, if you can still contain your gambling impulses, it means you are responsible enough on this habit. always remember your limits, if you go beyond from time to time, that's fine. as long as you go back to square one and not put yourself in a terrible situation owed to gambling debts or of similar compromised situations.
