To the newbies and anyone who is ethnic sentimental should avoid it with 100%. We no dey do things differently here and di only languages allowed in dis local board are: Number is NIGERIAN PIDGIN ENGLISH  And STANDARD ENGLISH from our colonial masters and these are the only two languages accepted here so please and please nobody should bring or try to introduce another language here. We are not here to divide the local board into ethnic segments but for one. And that is why these rules were formulated to guide the local board users but it seems that the newbies are not reading them and always violating or conflicting with the rules. We dey pray say make theymos grant us our request and di guidelines thread go pin nd at dat time any newbie wey no grer read am and come tok nonsense go collect weti no good. See weti dis guy go talk for public not even here.

Additionally, I also suggest that Yoruba language under other languages should be included as a sub-board in Nigeria (naija) local board. Although there are over 6 countries that speaks youruba language but in the forum it's mostly or just Nigerians who participates in such language conversation.

This kind thing e no make sense. Nigeria has over 525 language and let say all of us want to create sub boards for the language we dey speak for here, how di place go be. Make we avoid dis language sentiment. F you can't use English and Pidgin English then you are not qualify to be here.

We do not have local languages not because we do not want tribalism. In fact, we supposed to encourage local languages or have a threads in it if it people can make such threads to be active. But with what we have noticed in the past, local language threads are just not active as people are not posting there. According to my statistics, the South-South has the biggest amount of active and high rank members, and this group is also multicultural and speaks multiple languages.

Any tribe that feels uncomfortable and wants to be on their own should start a local thread outside of the Naija local board and stay. You must keep and converse in the two approved languages as long as you are a member of this board.

It can not. Assuming we have many people from a particular tribe posting actively, there is nothing bad to have such as child-board. But that can not be done because I can remember that Yorùbá has a thread which was very inactive. And most people did not come up with their own languages. I wouldn't argue with you or anyone for any reason. I'm sorry if my comment got you annoyed but I guess you didn't actually understand my suggestion over that thread.

I'm not a Yoruba person first of all, and I just noticed that there is a thread or board that is called Yoruba language and I know too well that the language is most used by Nigerians, so I suggested that instead of it to stand alone it should be included as a sub board in naija local board as other sub boards will be created too.

I thought Niger Deltan are not Muslims. But some people can be Christian, or use Muslim or something similar to Muslim names. Some Niger Deltan family might have yoruba because you should have seen tribes marrying different tribes. The only person that I know there is Mpamaegbu which I thought was not Niger Deltan (I do not want to disclose his tribe). You can also see a Yorùbá speaking Igbo or Hausa, that does not matter if the Yoruba post on their local board.

They are much into it. Many young guys do not even know how to keep it to themselves, you will see them discussing about it.

I support senior the rule number two is very clear and stand to be binding force to all perticipating under the naija forum in every rule must not be hundred percent favorable to everyone but this rules of the forum have no side effects to me and I also support on the fact that any organization which member choose rule to obey and leave others have difficulty to stand there we must avoid this and enforce every one to abide by the rules. op I congratulate you for always keeping us on the lane through remembering us what the rules says  and urging us to deviate from ethicity and language that curse harm thanks

I be Omo Igbo, aje okuta ma mu omi confirmed 😏. It's in my moniker. I should've taken the Yoruba speaking and writing thing seriously while growing up. I regret somehow I didn't. Though I can speak it, not fluently the way I want. The thing is that I grow up in Lasgidi before I relocated to Panya now. I love languages.

In naija we get different tribes so e no go make sense make we bring any other language other than pidgin English. Well, 9ja dey very hard to control, even if say the best government try to adjust one or two things for this country e no go get head just because of say we too dey stubborn and watin really dey cause am nah just because of say the languages too plenty.
So instead of say e go dey very hard for the OGAs them to find am very difficult to understand some kind of threads or discussions just because of say nah local languages, e better make we just dey with our popular pidgins and standard English so that everyone go fit flow well for inside every discussion.
