Hi BTCLOLIPOP,

Dome Miner was added the device type in the past and the rest i have added right now.
You can also add a new device by your own with the selfservice link on the top.

But keep in mind you have to are at first on the right pool status page (SMALL or BIG MINER) and than klick on selfservice.

Best regards and happy Mining,
Willi

Good morning everyone,

It doesn't sound like much, but we have already mined 1.7% of the diff. That is quite an achievement with the small miners that are used here in the SMALL MINER pool.

Sum of all shares (including inactive miner / BTC diff): 1,941,178,137,138 / 114,167,270,716,410

Our best share ever is a remarkable 3,652,604,902,979

If chance and luck had been a little better for us, then a block could have been dropped, it was just about that.

So keep your fingers crossed and happy mining,
Willi

Alas, as I keep reminding you, that calculation is actually wrong.

So while you are saying 1.7% is good, and higher is better, it is actually quite a bit higher than that.

ckpool software does not store or display the information required to calculate that correctly, so his reported blocks usually claim much better luck than it is.
(not sure why anyone would be happy about that ... but anyway)

As I've explained a number of times, the problem is that shares/diff must be added up per difficulty change,
b ut using a total shares / current diff is far from correct.

To make it clear in a valid example, if you did 1% diff for 2 weeks and difficulty was 100T,
but later include that in a 110T, suddenly that 1% diff has dropped to 100/110 = 0.91% diff
The % amount of work done hasn't changed, but the calculation has ignored that.

To give an example that may explain it better, but not very realistic,
Image diff is 100T and you do 50T work during that 2 weeks, you have now done 50% of a block work.
Then say next diff, it jumps up to 125T, so at the start of that 125T diff, suddenly the amount of work you have done drops,
if you calculate it incorrectly using 50/125 = 40% work
But you haven't done any less work %, just the calculation is wrong.
The work % value of a share, is based on the difficulty when the share was submitted, not much later when difficulty has changed.

When finding a block lasts for a few weeks or months, that % difference, when calculated incorrectly, becomes very noticeable and makes the pool look like it is luckier than it is.

Hi Kano,

I know it, but it is only a indicator / a number and we let it so as it is.
We would not calculate a 100% number, it is only our indicator and we call it „Luck“ and we know it, if the diff. will change, than we have a drift. But as i say, it is a easy indicator.

Best regards and happy Mining,
Willi

I intentionally bought my BitAxe Gamma for solo-mining, years after I was thinking about but not doing it actually Cheesy After much reading in the forum I found your thread and found it a good idea, because it is a smaller pool with small devices instead of larger pools with huge devices where it does not make so much sense to participate Smiley

So what can you say about that, it works as planned.

Wow 😳 And just yesterday I started with my BitAxe Cheesy

This is a user with multiple BitAxes, I count six, right? Really impressive. But absolutely to be expected I think. People win in lotteries and the probability for mining a block with a BitAxe is way higher than that I believe.

I was just about to look at the export data, they have some trouble, but it's no longer working. Apparently, someone in our group is retrieving the data via a script or querying something automatically. This brings my free web space to its knees and the scripts no longer run smoothly (currently only exports are affected). Feel free to take a look at the page, but please leave the automated queries and deactivate them again.

If anyone needs data, no problem, but then get it directly from the ckpool, which is where I got it from.

Welcome baginek,

you start from the beginning with a lot of miner, very cool.
I see all your miner in the pool and all looks fine from the first view.

Cross our fingers to find a block after a while, if your miner reach 200 ghs.

Best regards and happy mining,
Willi

I updated the post "Block Difficulty vs. Network Difficulty 2009-2024" today and added a new chart that roughly illustrates the history of mining hardware/chip types.
It's interesting to see how the development has evolved and what kind of best shares have been generated throughout Bitcoin's history. Also the best difficulty Block per year.

On the second posting you can see all the bestshare per month since BTC Network was startet
