we have the same take on this aspect of gambling. this one for me is i believe a case-to-case basis. it depends on the teams involved and what's the current play of the game. if i am too confident, i can bet before a match starts, but if not, i will try to assess the ongoing match and see if the odds for me is good. because let's admit, we are playing with our money here. so as much as possible you want to have advantage so as to win on your bets.

so for me, you can't have a defined answer here and also it depends on the sports you are betting with. you need to gauge the situation because it is your money on the line. you won't put your money at risk if you feel you are on the losing side, right?

just like for example in NBA, most of the time, i would bet in other betting lines while the game is progressing. sometimes it is interesting to bet while the game is ongoing, after 1st quarter, 2nd quarter and so on.  and then check the odds for the betting line of - the winning margin, will there be overtime, handicap among others. if you are keen on this sports, you will find it interesting to bet while the game is progressing.

I did both the first and second options although I leaned more towards the first option. Actually, the option to bet on this match depends on the situation because I think it is flexible if we miss the bet or see some situations that allow us to believe that it is worth doing.
But for the most part, I stick to the first option by betting when the match has not yet started because with this, the odds are already visible and we must have monitored to bet there, although it is not uncommon for me to miss and even bet when the first half is over or the match is already underway.
As for Virtual I don't really like to do it for betting because in my opinion this is a bigger risk and rather than like that I actually prefer other matches such as esports rather than virtual.

I generally prefer live betting in sports betting because it is easier and more possible to make predictions or bet with higher odds this way. In addition, especially if there is a sports competition that I watch, making predictions and evaluating possible possibilities is definitely a great advantage. Sometimes our presences change with the kind of gambling pattern we choose, some prefer to stake on virtual while some other have a preference with live matches and the variation is based on the preference of the players and sometimes the risk appetite they are having at a particular time.

Gambling is mostly supposed to be for fun but some people rather prefer to gamble without necessarily wanting fun but to get money and this increase their greed and cause them to be reckless with their stakes such that sometimes they gamble more than they can afford to lose. I prefer to make my stakes before the match so that I will have enough time to do my analysis and place according to my preference because if I waited till the beginning of the game, it's very likely I would place a bet in a hurry and may not get what I wanted out of the bet.

Your method of betting on the sportsbet depends on the level of fun that you want to have in that particular match. If I want to bet strictly for money without thinking much about the fun that I will gain from it, I used to bet before the game start. I analysis 2 hours to the match and I stake my game and then wait patiently for the outcome. But if I want to follow up the match and have more fun as the much is going on I go for Life matches. Live matches bet gives you more fun and excitement to continue to gamble until the end of the match. That is where the fun lies hundred percent.

Betting live is pure adrenaline, the complicated thing about this type of bet is that the bettor cannot forget that in this case he will always have to make decisions very quickly based on what is happening and it is easy to make wrong decisions when you are influenced by adrenaline and the hormones that predominate in your body do not allow you to reason sensibly.

Virtue Matches is one place I don't even think about going because it's one of the fastest ways to drink my money out of my pocket before I even realise it.

I have often read that we should know how to control our emotions so that they do not affect playing crypto gambling. But most players, even though they know this warning, when they are actually gambling, their response is different. This often happens because they are always overcome by their emotions, and the source is fear or anxiety.

You are very correct with that statement on real gamblers not having a choice when it comes to when best to stake the bet,  most times I use all the formulas mentioned in the ops and it works for me the most time,  but sometimes day when luck is not on my side,  u can still lose using all of them on various matches,  I think most time my first go to matches is the live matches and games that have done far ahead into the second half sometimes when we have 70+ minutes into the game that is when I see it best to stake my bets most especially on matches that already have goals scores at that time.

It works for me sometimes and sometimes I still lose them,  so for sure on a lucky day one can win any game regardless of the method of bet style we choose.

I vote live matches. This is my habit of betting on football. The reason is that I have to first observe the formation and strategy used, I look at the line up of players used by the team. At least I tried to avoid a crushing defeat 😅. In the past, I preferred staking before matches started and just had faith, as a result the club I chose lost, even though the club I chose was in the top premier league, but lost to the promotion team 😅

I think there is merit if you bet on live matches given that you have the actual data that you can personally observe.

Before, I use to gamble on slots due to its convenience and simplicity- you just push the lever, observe the symbols that are being rouletted and check if you have won money. Given that you can bet for as low as 0.09$ in slots in our country, there is that potential that you can bet and win a significant amount of money (which I have experienced in the past).

I avoid betting on live matches because I was not just so good at it and I don't prefer it at all. That is why I am waiting for the bets to be casted before the game starts and that's what I prefer. But because of the feed back of many members here about doing live matches I might get interested on it and will try to find something for myself but not for now. So likewise with the others that have said that they're betting before the matches start, I'm also one of you. I prefer this and it's reasonable for me to do it because I can still gather info and some news if there have been some changes or there's something wrong before the match starts for a player or a team that I like to stake my money with. Usually, I like to watch the 1st half of a USA football game and make a bet at halftime. You normally have a spread based on the current score and IMO can make an educated bet based off the 1st half. It's not a guaranteed win method or anything, just betting on who's playing better to that point.

Football, this sport has quite lot of matches scheduled every week and of course the many match schedules from various leagues make me bet more on the weekends.
But still, there will always be teams that will make it difficult for us to win, in football betting I always use the multi method because to be able to get really big odd, even though it is difficult, it will be worth betting on.
It just that this is not to be imitated, especially for beginner gamblers because betting multiple times will make have greater percentage of losses, mistake by just one team will make everything in vain and of course we will lose all the money we bet.

My advice to those novice gamblers who want to bet on sports betting is to watch at least the first half and then make prediction that is worth betting on.

I always prefer to place a bet before matches start for that reason, my full attention is on the game match and I will not think about who I will bet on, for me it is better to know from the beginning who you will choose because it is difficult to change your decisions while the match is on going because you might regret it if you change in the last minute.

This is true and I do actually the same thing, though what I do is I study first the team before the start and I already know who has the advantage but sometimes along the way, the weaker team might have get a little advantage especially in the early quarter or time and that's the time I placed a bet on the team that has advantage with a way better odds than placing bet before the match. It doesn't work anytime but if you hit it, it's a good win actually with a good odds.
