I don't think that's necessary and it depends on the situation a professional gambler can understand when they need to make the bet before the match starts and when they need to do it after the game starts. Generally, one should make the bet before the game starts if the game is being played between two teams where one side has a high lead against the opponent when it comes to gameplay and general standings in that sport because you know they have a higher probability of winning and you will get higher odds if you make the bet before the game starts.

However, if there is a game that is being played between teams that are of equal strength, you might think of making your bet after the game starts so that you can evaluate the gameplay of the teams and decide which one has a better grip on the game today and make your bet accordingly.

I'm not a professional bettor as well, it's just what I think and what I would do in both situations. Every individual can have a different approach to their betting strategies.

Hmm, that's right. And if luckily a miracle happens you could lose the 2k to win just a 1.01 odds. But if you place the bet before starting the game and place the bet on the right place (the biggest team) you may get at least more than 1.50x odds.

likely to win then i do make out those bets but of course it would really be needing on having other considerations aside on leading score etc...

It has been my norm to always stake b4 d match start because then I usually have a calm mind and enough time aswell to make my picks and make sure to be careful and very decisive with my picks because at that point I'm not in a hurry to in anyway stake or get my picks knowing I have the luxury of time.

If I wait for a live game before posting, chances are they I will make hurried picks and they may turn out not what I wanted because these picks weren't really rational enough, they were just random and solely dependent on luck with out much analysis, even tho I know much analysis does not guarantee winning but then it gives you an edge of the others who made random picks and have to stay luck dependent meanwhile you had conscious decision and so you are luck dependent on an average percentage.

I mostly place pre-live bets overall because I don't always have the time to watch every match I bet on and with the help of good timing, you can catch some good early and late odds that could give you a slight edge.

My experience with live betting has been volatile and it's easy to lose a significant chunk of your bankroll if you suddenly have a disastrous day.

Virtual sport is an option I don't recommend, even though i've never placed a bet. I've seen others fall for it countless times and lose their money unnecessarily when they can wait the next day and bet on better matches.

Usually, it depends on someone's habits in placing bets because I know there are friends of mine who will place bets when the match is almost starting. They are still calm and have not placed their bets because they already have the option to bet. But other friends place their bets long before the match starts, and they usually collect a lot of information, compare it, and then choose the team that has a chance of winning. Even though the results of each friend's predictions will not always be correct, at least they have their own analysis and stick to that analysis to then place their bets.

I choose live matches (in-play) because I like the thrill of betting, for example, on NBA matches. My favourite in NBA betting is that while watching, I can bet anytime I want, but of course there is a limit to the time where I can place my bet. Still, I like it more than anything else because I also like to play basketball and I'm getting exhausted from the game. Also, those card games I like more live, and I see that real person do the shaffle. I get entertained, and I also get thrilled by the match. And virtual betting takes more resources as the matches are played in seconds,  and when you lose you can rebet again and in the process loosing money, but for it will take an hour 45mins for a love bet to be loss or 45mins depending on the option booked.

But I noticed about all games is that it is good to use just little amount of money to gamble because all these betting sites are existing to make money from their customers. Staking before match begin, virtual betting, live betting, casinos and others are just done by the gambling site with odds that are not favoring the gambler. That is why you will see gamblers more likely to lose than win.

And virtual betting takes more resources as the matches are played in seconds,  and when you lose you can rebet again and in the process loosing money, but for it will take an hour 45mins for a love bet to be loss or 45mins depending on the option booked.

There are many live bets that are going on and you may be selecting many of them one by one and staking them one by one. If you also stake on live bet, it may take just few minutes sometimes when you would have won or lost. Live bet may not necessarily take 90 minutes.

I do stake before matches having done all the pre-matches analysis thereafter pick my accumulated bets, I bet mostly on strong team to win a weak team, both team to score, over 1.5 etc all odds accumulated to maximum of 3.00 to 4.00, I am aware of betting on lives matches inplay for instance first half draw, no goals by either sides etc my problem with inplay betting is that I would prefer accumulating my bets but due to time factor that is why I prefer placing my bet before matches thereafter close my App to perform other tasks or concentrate on watching TV when my team is playing a match, though I do visit LiveScore or Flashscore to monitor the scores of my bets, I also bet with the amount of money I can afford to lose.

It depends. As the match is approaching and if a club is not using one or two of their key players, the odd may not reduce. Another thing is that if an in-play began and no club scored yet, the higher would be the odd.

The disadvantage of what you meant is that if a club do not later use their first 11, the match might go against them. It is good to place bet closer to the day of the match, after you have known the full names of the players that the club is using.

You can get more than 150.00 odds and win, I can tell you that from my own experience. Look at this bet of mine:



Once I made a bet with over 200.00 odds, but cashed it out when the win was 43x of my bet, and you know what? The last match ended as I predicted and I realized that I could win 200x of my bet if I didn't cash out.

And also it's so hard to place a multibet on a live match because odds keep changing all the time.

Looking systematically at team in match will be much better than predicting from the start by just looking at the match history.
By looking at team statistics when the match starts we can see the strategy and line-up of players.
Of course, this is much better way of generating betting predictions and we can be more confident in betting because the predictions are based on what is currently competing.
I always advise those gamblers who like sports betting to be able to bet when the match has started and of course the aim is to be able to increase the chances of winning from the predictions made.

Indeed, when betting before the match starts or after the match has started it will only give us lower odd, but when we place bet early the odd can be quite large.
But as gambler, do we only care about odd ones shouldn't we be able to have greater chance of winning?

I am not really into virtual games, because I feel that they are rigged. I like to stake before the matches are played, because I feel I have a better chance to get the best odds that will favor me.

Prematch and live game are good to bet on. I do make betting most on prematches but also place some live bet base on the outcome of the match during the match. Imagine a match where I expect over2.5 still playing 0-0 after half time. I may play a live game of over1.5 on them since by that time their odds will be highly encouraging and the chance of winning that great odd is high since it a game that almost everyone is expecting more than 2 goals.
