Is MATIC better or DOT? Which one has better potential?

For me I will chose matic over for because matic transaction fee is lesser than than dot. Before choosing a coin over the other there should be a checkmate before conclusion and for me I have chose the reason behind why I prefer matic over dot.

MATIC and DOT both are great but according to my experience is that MATIC are more strong then DOT because MATIC are very strong team and alot of people use this there fee is very low so my advice is that both are best I believe MATIC rise there value in future.

You know I bought the dot at when it was 34 dollars and now it's around 7 or 8 dollars but I still believe that in the future will touch 20 in next few days while bitcoin will go above 50k in that case it may touch 20 but hopefully it will be very useful for me in next few days because almost a year. It turns out that I have kept it as it is and will wait for it to go back to its original purchase price when the price of bitcoin is good and I will have my investment. It will be given if it does not benefit me, but if it return my amount , then I will also in benefit a lot.

Since its still in development better to start accumulating mate right? readying for the time when this is fully developed and for sure will have big increase in price.
I'm not a fan of Layer 1 or 2  projects as I focused only in popular and oldschool currencies but recently these layers projects are getting my attention so maybe I will consider taking in my folio.

Matic is not new, so it's surprising if they are still in the development phase. Although maybe all coins should be like this? Because it gives the investors an excitement than those coins whose team is not active on developing their coins anymore. Except only of course for BTC; its case is different even though it's rumoured that Satoshi had disappeared long time ago. ETH is also an old coin but their teams are still developing it. They need it though because the fees on it are still high and the movement of the coin is still slow.

There are many layer 1 and 2 projects now, and new coins on the same category are still coming out. I wouldn't wonder why you suddenly build an interest on them. They are useful though as an alternative when doing payment transactions or when we use our crypto as a currency, as they are fast and cheap.

Even from when I started considering Altcoins I saw Matic as a potential coin so it's not a new thing for me and I so much prefer it to DOT.

I don't really have a good reason for including it to my list but since I searched top altcoins to invest in I saw MATIC in all the list which means it's really a good coin to prefer and including the fact that it's my time to hear of the token called DOT, I will probably do some more research on dot but in the main time matic is my preference.

Dear this way of research is not good at all, the right way of doing research is to check if the project team is working actively on the project ecosystem to make it skyrocking. Do check their social handle for the latest news about the project if you feel the project has positive potential after research then you can invest in the project otherwise you are taking a risk. Although both projects are good DOT and Matic after all that research is recomended.

There's no solid reason btw I believe matic is more popular among its user because it allow verious transaction through its network specially I did USDT transaction recently by using matic. Dear indeed both will make hype in Bull run season today I swapped some ETH to MATIC, But I have more DOT in comparison with Matic. DOT is good project with many reason if you do search about this project you will see SEC have no negative statement over DOT. i don't know what was the intentions of OP on creation of this thread. In matic we have seen a rally but for dotwe are now waiting.
For Dot to do a good one in coming days which we can benefit from it but for this we have little wait and see because Bitcoin is going to 42k right now, Bitcoin will cross 50k in coming days and the dot will cross 10 along with it, but this is a thing of patience. For that, we have to wait for it very calmly and one thing is that as soon as there is news of any coin, then due to the news, that coin can go up, but today. There is no news related to Dot which is what we have to wait for it.

I pretty much agree with that.  I've never had a reason to use DOT ever for anything so I don't know much about it.  I do know that MATIC is basically plug and play for Ethereum projects that want to save money on gas fees while providing a better experience for their users.  That has got to be a large potential user base.  Not to mention whenever I see DOT I see advertisements for this huge return staking and I wonder where the staking % comes from.  Without seemingly much activity, I worry that DOT is just a scheme to trap investors seeking a high yield.

Best idea is to divided your money and buy two coins equally and take advantage from both of them. I haven't used dot network yet even I'm not hearing about dot nowadays. Rather i saw people are interested to discuss about matic. So matic is sounds more positive than dot. And it has a lots of usage but i still don't know about dot properly. So, personally I choose Matic. Besides the proce is still underated, still small, we also can see the potebtial to reach and then pass their ATH, multiple times. Hopefully.
