MATIC or DOT?

Even from when I started considering Altcoins I saw Matic as a potential coin so it's not a new thing for me and I so much prefer it to DOT.

I don't really have a good reason for including it to my list but since I searched top altcoins to invest in I saw MATIC in all the list which means it's really a good coin to prefer and including the fact that it's my time to hear of the token called DOT, I will probably do some more research on dot but in the main time matic is my preference.

Dear this way of research is not good at all, the right way of doing research is to check if the project team is working actively on the project ecosystem to make it skyrocking. Do check their social handle for the latest news about the project if you feel the project has positive potential after research then you can invest in the project otherwise you are taking a risk. Although both projects are good DOT and Matic after all that research is recomended.

Generally both are potential altcoin and have strong fanbase in crypto market but i always like matic than polkadot. There's no solid reason btw I believe matic is more popular among its user because it allow verious transaction through its network specially I did USDT transaction recently by using matic. Dear indeed both will make hype in Bull run season today I swapped some ETH to MATIC, But I have more DOT in comparison with Matic. DOT is good project with many reason if you do search about this project you will see SEC have no negative statement over DOT. i don't know what was the intentions of OP on creation of this thread. In matic we have seen a rally but for dotwe are now waiting.
For Dot to do a good one in coming days which we can benefit from it but for this we have little wait and see because Bitcoin is going to 42k right now, Bitcoin will cross 50k in coming days and the dot will cross 10 along with it, but this is a thing of patience. For that, we have to wait for it very calmly and one thing is that as soon as there is news of any coin, then due to the news, that coin can go up, but today. There is no news related to Dot which is what we have to wait for it.

I pretty much agree with that.  I've never had a reason to use DOT ever for anything so I don't know much about it.  I do know that MATIC is basically plug and play for Ethereum projects that want to save money on gas fees while providing a better experience for their users.  That has got to be a large potential user base.  Not to mention whenever I see DOT I see advertisements for this huge return staking and I wonder where the staking % comes from.  Without seemingly much activity, I worry that DOT is just a scheme to trap investors seeking a high yield.

Best idea is to divided your money and buy two coins equally and take advantage from both of them. I haven't used dot network yet even I'm not hearing about dot nowadays. Rather i saw people are interested to discuss about matic. So matic is sounds more positive than dot. And it has a lots of usage but i still don't know about dot properly. but I agree with your opinion that in terms of network usage MATIC is superior to DOT, but regarding the community and ecosystem perhaps DOT is superior because DOT's current ranking is above MATIC.

If I were to choose between matic or dot, I would go for MATIC. It offers a good functionality and it
has remained stable since years ago. Many years ago, we expected matic to do well and continue to do so.
I think it is something I have to take note of during this bull run considering as well that it is relatively cheaper compared to dot right now.
