I knew that they were going to play that match with a winning mindset since they cannot afford to lose two consecutive matches. I thought about the “new manager bounce” theory and the possibility of Chelsea surprising us with a victory but I doubt that’s going to happen, especially as City needs this win to close the gap between them and Arsenal. I have heard some Chelsea fans say they don’t mind losing as long as it prevents Arsenal from lifting the trophy lol.

Not too bad with Villarreal's current form to be at 1x2 for them but it is a bit of a risk

Compared to Palmer, Foden had a much better performance, at least he could complete a pass, and by no remorse to Haaland who is their top goal scorer this season, so it is understood, that although that was not the best decision at that point, the decision was not entirely bad. Palmer could not hold the ball, could not run with the ball as he usually does, could not even complete a pass. He was everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

Chelsea's best player yesterday was Enzo, and then Delap when he came on.
