Another World Cup promo hits (2 in a row) Congrats to those lucky enough to cash this 💰 It’s one of the most fair promotion I’ve seen recently, they stick to a prediction that is reasonably possible and one can easily make wins by just going with it. Taking these bets now is probably the best time as, most of the decisions on who gets through is almost almost decided and leaving few teams with a fighting chance and they are indeed fighting to salvage what they could of the games. Another one yet to be won. Portugal needs this point and Ronaldo needs goals. The twist is on either he could get 2 goals and haven’t scored 2 goals in their previous game, his surely got a thirst for it now.

Today I logged into Rainbet to check how my new sports betting strategy is working. I used to chase 100x and higher, but after getting fed up with the constant losses, I decided to switch to 10x and higher. So, I went to Rainbet Sportsbook and here's my three recent bets, two of which I lost: bc of the draws instead of The New Saints and Universidad de Chile winning as I predicted, but I won my third bet: and the odds for that combo were the highest. Such cases make me think, maybe I should go for higher odds? IDK.

I have a feeling that Portugal will end up losing in this game because Colombia have the capability to hurt them wealth the least expect I think this is another game where Portugal will struggle and players like Ronaldo will struggle to score. While Ronaldo will be struggling to score in his own game the player he is most compared with which is Lionel Messi will be choosing rest in his own not chasing after results or statistics because if he had 1000 goals in mind to score I'm very sure that he will be on a race there currently now but because of his selfless nature he is not considering that and putting that above the team's goal.

I agree that Portugal isn't playing their best at this World Cup, but they're a solid team, and Cristiano Ronaldo is still showing great football. Colombia is a very good team, but I don't think they can handle Portugal. Portugal will struggle more and more in the subsequent stages of the tournament, and I don't think they'll even reach the semifinals, but I don't think Colombia is a team they can't handle.

The match ended in a goalless draw primarily due to Diogo Costa saving Portugal again and again against Columbia who looked quite scary to be honest. CR7 couldn't get one in here and Portugal ended up in 2nd place within their group. Expecting some more great stuff from my favorite(Ronaldo), Columbia and Portugal going forward. You people are clearly underestimating them way too much.

Not only this, World Cup 2026 seems to be very different with Euro 2016 when Portugal played their first three matches very bad but they luckily fell to an easy branch toward the final match. In this World Cup 2026, with results from group matches, Portugal now falls to a very hard branch and they will have to play with very strong national teams and competitors to participate in the final match. Their next opponent will be Croatia, then if they win against Croatia, next possible opponents might be Spain and Belgium before meeting with France/ Germany/ Netherlands in the semi final. Their road to the final match in World Cup 2026 will be very possibly full with many strong teams, and Cristiano Ronaldo truly has a very hard journey to get World Cup 2026 trophy. It's a very disappointed match for attacking players from Portugal especially Bruno Fernandes with very bad stats in this match. Cristiano Ronaldo did not score goal in this match but other attacking players of Portugal performed bad too. This is not their good preparation for a match with Croatia which somehow managed to go to a knock out phase again. With Croatia, they are very well organized as a united team, and they play very disciplined while having good ability to finalize matches.

Portugal ended up not able to get all three points against Colombia as the game ended in a draw with poor performance again from Cristiano Ronaldo and many of the Portuguese players. The next game in the knockout stage is against Croatia and I doubt their ability to win that game even though Croatia are not at their strongest in this World Cup competition this time around. Even if Portugal are able to win that game, their next game will be tougher and will likely be against Spain who should be able to beat Austria.

It's a disappointed result for Portugal but from their performance they did not deserve a win at all. Now, match ended, the next opponent known and Portugal will play with Croatia next match. It's a classic match with two legendary players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric, who used to be teammates in Real Madrid in many seasons, got a lot of trophies and success together but now in their very likely last World Cup, they will have to play against and eliminate each other. Portugal have better player quality than Croatia but in performance quality so far, both teams are the same while Croatia in latest World Cup are always ready to make surprise against any big and strong teams.

No matter the kind of surprise Croatia has for us in this world cup, I believe that Portugal will stop them from qualifying to the next round because it's gone be a do or die affair. Unlike, the group stage that you still have hope to win your next match. Ronaldo isn't shinning that much this time maybe, he needs more time to catch his breath. Croatia put up a good performance in the group stage and it wouldn't be nice to see them leave the competition earlier than expected.

I wouldn't say it was very disappointing since Columbia is a strong team and they looked like they might win here and there. Portugal could go far this time too like the Qatar one, but I don't see them winning the trophy at last with this lineup to be honest. Am a CR7 fan, but I hate to admit that he isn't in his peak form like Messi currently. All of that could change in the knockouts though I am doubtful. Also, Croatia have struggled themselves in the group stage which is why they aren't such a big threat this time.

Portugal can easily have a fully functional team, capable of eliminating and beating which ever team that they are faced with should they be able to play like a team. They’ve got players on every side of the pitch that do make a difference in their respective clubs but, not so much with Portugal due to the little strains between the players. This has to stop else, they are going nowhere in this tournament. It was a little disappointing to find them not being able to score a goal and had to settle for another draw against Colombia: Colombia delivered an equally good performance but, Portugal ought to have won that game.

Japan and Brazil will make a very interesting match today because Brazil are the most successful team in World Cup history while Japan are the strongest Asian team in this World Cup, and also latest World Cup. Since World Cup 1998, Japan football has developed a lot and they now can play equally with strongest teams globally. It's too early for Japan to meet Brazil, and it can be their unluckiness but they are confident about their quality so surely will not mind about destiny brings Brazil to them in round of 16. With me, I will take a look at Neymar, will he play in this match and how? Likely he will be used as a substitution but I hope that it will be not a last match in World Cup 2026 for Neymar.

^ You never know with these things. I personally think he's done, but a late sub and a moment of magic who knows?
Japan, if anyone knows me, they know this is the team I've rated all along (sadly missing arguably three of their best players owing to late injuries) but this is perhaps the most dynamic team in this tourney. All switcheable players and all herding well and technically quite malleable too. Japan came up with a 2050 target for the World Cup so they are halfway there now and I have to say, it shows!

Neymar junior ended up not playing at all in the game and the star of the game came off the bench was Gabriel Martinelli who scored an important goal for Brazil in his stoppage time to ensure that they qualify for the next round coming from behind to win the game. At some point in the game japan looked in control of the game and Brazil looked clueless It's a good thing that they were able to get themselves and still get the win. Now can Germany do the same against Paraguay?

VAR continues being a double edged sword as usual. Cannot believe that one of my favorites(Germany) got knocked out thanks to penalties despite such a great late goal which was disallowed thanks to the Paraguay goalkeeper playing the referee smartly.
Netherlands getting knocked out by penalties was another crazy event. Good to see Brazil defeating Japan though. Wonder what more craziness awaits us in the upcoming matches.
