Mate, there are tons of social media channels out there, claiming to be crypto experts. But the reality is, about half of them are scams or project managers pushing their shit coins to scam newcomers. For better crypto knowledge, take up your time to understand this forum and read comments from trusted members. I suggest avoiding Telegram and Facebook because scammers often target newbies there to take their money.  
For YouTube, there's one channel I would recommend.
discover crypto but be smart and careful of anyone claiming to know how to make more online as they are mostly scammers.

As for books. You can check these threads for some free or paid books created by crypto legends

Why do you need all that when you're in a platform (forum) where the real deals lies?. You're here in the forum already and this where the ideals of books etc are gotten from, Imo you don't need those social media platforms to get updates about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large, because such groups or social platforms are prone to scams.

You could watch Bitcoin/Blockchain related movies in your fun times but I wouldn't suggest you get involved with any group for crypto updates.

It is much more beneficial to read books than to join social media groups. Don't get scammed, the majority of these groups and channels are unreliable, and joining them puts you at greater risk of falling victim to a scam. Scammers hide out in these groups, waiting for unsuspecting victims. I suggest avoiding social media groups in favour of reading books and watching videos on YouTube, they will be more beneficial.
As Bitcoin surpasses all other cryptocurrencies, you should checkout these links if you're interested in learning more about it. I think they'll be helpful in getting you started.

No wonder this is coming from a newbie, because you cannot gain much through the different channels like YouTube channels or telegram channels because most of them just wants to make money by selling you their premium channels or groups hence we should stay away from telegram groups or any random group. I would rather suggest you to make the most of this forum and search for any topic you will find it here and in case if you are unable to find something just start an topic for help and you will get guidance.

Congratulations for now deciding to venture the crypto verse.
However is asking for many resources here necessary? A lot of newbies come here to ask for articles and videos like this , but how many of them actually make use of these resources? Only a very few.
Nevertheless Hatchy has dropped some resources here and I recommend you go through them. Like I always say the easiest way to understand the crypto space it to  be active here on this forum and learning by reading quality posts. This forum contains a whole bunch of info about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. You can even notice that when you make a crypto related search ,Bitcoin talk is usually among the top 10 results.

You should read other topics in this board of newbies asking how they can have knowledge on bitcoin and also grow here. It is not compulsory that you create a new topic for this when you can get answers from the other thread with the same discussion as yours. You can also go to your local board and ask members there, maybe reading and communicating in your local language will help you understand fast. I believe that active old members already knows this, but only newbies keep on asking same questions without hiving their time to read. You have been given few articles on which you can start from there. Read more and post less.

Make usefulness of the surplus materials that have been provided through threads/posts and discussions in the different boards  by forum members in this bitcointalk community that you're privilege to be a member, there are certain social groups or forum's you will find yourself and you won't be able to catch up with wave of discussion's, a typical example is Reddit, a newbie to cryptocurrency in Reddit will feel totally lost despite having been their for months but here in Bitcointalk every discussion is simplified in well coordinated manner between members in each board.

Aside the forum the other platform I get crypto related updates is coingecko.com and bitcoinnews.com which are a place I'll recommend newbie's to constantly visit to read a few a current articles in addition to the materials found in the BTT forum. That's how you get knowledgeable to be able to also contribute meaningfully on the forum.

I would advise you to try and check out some similar threads like this particular one you have created because a whole lots of newbie have gone down this road before and have been also referred with lots of link and whenever I see these newbie alert thread it just reminds me of my then days.

But notwithstanding atleast you have the boldness to say that you need lectures for something you don't know because a whole lot of people like me and you tend to pretend and claim to posses the knowledge they know nothing about and in so start all sort of rubbish that gets really annoying.

Forget about telegram, Reddit and Facebook groups. You will find nothing but scammers there. Browse the forum more, you will find threads that will interest in the beginners and help board. Our friends have made it easier for you by providing you links that will help you under when the bitcoin ecosystem. Since you mentioned YouTube, I’m recommending you go to Andreas Antonopoulos channel, he has lots of great content for beginners. For a newbie, the fastest way to learn a about cryptocurrency is by reading alot here in the forum and whenever you have a question in a particular area or topic and you see that such a question has not been asked before here in the forum, you can go ahead to create of the topic and ask your questions and you will see that members will be more than willing to give you the best and diverse answers to that topic with loads of explanations and analysis when and where needed.

go through threads here in the platform and you will learn far more important information than what any YouTube channel can offer. Although you could sometimes go to your youtube occasionally and search for a key word you are interested in learning, here to the beat of my knowledge is the best place to learn since you have experienced individuals already in the field that are ready and willing yo clear your doubt in case you have a challenge as a beginner.

If I am not wrong, their are foundational cryptocurrency courses on coursera and I fell that if you go though them it would give you the needed foundation that will grant you the ability to learn and follow the right learning pattern in the forum.

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum, and I will not recommend any social media platforms like Facebook, Telegram, Twitter and more for you to learn about Bitcoin, you can learn here in this forum by going through the already created threads, and you can as well view and read the books already recommended here for you.
Moreover, avoid taking any signals or high profits offer from Telegram and other social media channels as they are not too legit and are mostly scams, avoid being greedy and make sure you do your research before investing in any coin. You can learn more here

What do you want to learn about? If you want to learn about crypto and the forum itself, then this forum will act as a teacher. I don't think you will find a suitable group where people are discussing Bitcointalk / teach someone about Bitcointalk. So there is no alternative to spending time reading everywhere in the forum to gain knowledge about the forum.

On the other hand, you can find some youtube channels for learning how crypto works, how to do trading, etc. For this, I think should search it on youtube to find a better one for you. Content with local language is really helpful to learn first.

Did you just mentioned groups, telegrams? Rahim, welcome to Bitcointalk and that's a very good question or suggestion that you've just mentioned. Let's just focus first with the telegram channels. It's best for you not join any of them if they are about trading activities because many of them are pump and dump groups that you shall get no benefits from joining them. You might get some luck for some instance but in general, you'll get nothing from them and instead that you'll get something from them, it's the opposite. Yes, they might be the one getting something from you.

Finding this forum is even a bonus to you, most of the information you are seeking there, I believe you would find at least half of it here. Most of newbies are testifying about how this forum has helped them grow and including me, during when I was a newbie in the space, the forum was of much helpful to me in gain more knowledge, you can create threads asking questions about things you don't know just as you have done, and I promise you more than enough information will be provided to you and even from different angle of experiences. Use the links that have been given you and do more of reading here, you definitely will be fed and get updated.

Hey buddy you need to take the informations you see here seriously than the places you mentiond because the forum is one of the best places you can learn and get good information on Bitcoin and other crytocurrencies, you can easily get deceived thinking you are getting the right information on Facebook and other social media platforms so I advise you spend some quality time in asking questions and using the search button to get the informations you need. Taking out time to  do your own research will also help you not to fail victim to scam as a result of you trying to get things faster so be careful as you open sites even as you learn.

There is one thing about newcomers in this forum and that is as the forum ages so we have set of lazy newcomers. To the best of my knowledge, the easiest thing that this generation youth know how to do is social media. Newcomers even find it difficult to cope with this forum due to the old software that is used in this fprum. I am surprised that someone is suggesting that social media channels should be shared in this forum, while the reverse is supposed to be the case. Nobody is ready to spoon feed anyone with information. If you want information search for it. The forum is already trying by providing solutions to people's problems and engaging in high information conversations about bitcoin.

The internet is a free place for anyone to explore. Op, do not limit your abilities to the shackles of this noble forum. Expand and explore.
