Since this coins have no value now it is expected to hodl them to see if later they can improve in the market,  because this is the only thing that can be done. It is the future that will determine what value a coin will possess,  it is only by hodling that we can see what these coins can show in the market. A coin with no value,  it won't make sense to sell out because their won't be any gain for selling,  it is better to just hodl it if the price will increase better in the market.

I don't waste my time waiting for another year, I sell them instead and invest in other coins. That is a smart thing we do for sure.

Investing is not all about holding, we also need to decide which one to keep and which one to sell for another gaining opportunity. That is why and many times I have to say that choosing coins matters a lot when investing because the results depend on it. Failure to choose profitable coins will end up wasting time or losses. Already a lot of coins have been delisted in most exchanges and more are coming...so we need to act before it happens.

If that project is a few years old and they are still working with their old ideas or concepts and are not ready to adapt to new market changes or don't want to follow the trend then the logical action should be to sell off and invest in another project that is working with new narratives. I think those that have a lot of altcoins that they've earned from campaigns and bounties, if it has a value that they can sell it quickly, they'd definitely do it without any doubt. But if it's seen that there's no value at all, they don't anything with it but just keep on holding it until they see that there's a growth or a value. They're lucky to see it having $50 - $100 and even luckier if it's going to be more than that. That's why if there's a value and liquidity on exchanges with those tokens or altcoins, they're all quicker than anyone else to dump it.

Most of them are becoming valueless because the developers understand how it works. That's why they are giving like a threshold on how long they're going to hold or lock the tokens from the bounties that are distributed and they're allowing first the devs and main investors to do the liquidity for them. They're releasing it first with those people and they give priority to them because they should be the one to make money not the bounty hunters. And what's next is the little amounts and market liqudity is left to the receivers of the rewards from the bounty.

It depends. If i can't trade because tx is more then gains, what other possibility there is then to hold it? Then again, in the past i didn't sell this one altcoin reward i had in the past because i totally forgot i even got it. So lucky me not checking my altcoin wallets often.

I let it rot in my wallet till the day it suddenly increased in price. Only then will it see the light of day, otherwise it's just bits of data in my wallet fated to stay in place for eternity. But well I wouldn't keep it in my wallet in the first place if it initially had value when I received it. I used to join many altcoins bounty campaigns, not just signature, twitter, article, video, .etc. And yes, most of the coin has no value at all, some of them aren't even listed in any exchanges, or if they are listed they have no liquidity, that's why I stopped participating on their campaign. You really can't do nothing with those coins.

Altcoins Bounty Campaigns is for people who have very much spare time, you will need to invest much of your time to do research wether the project you are campaigning is legit and good, don't just join any campaign you found, or you will end-up just wasting your time.

Most of them are so low that they don't even cover the fees of exchanging so I leave them be. Of the ones having good value, I evaluate their future and if I find the possibility of doing better on long term, I either hold them or sell some of it and keep the rest but if I find it not so probable of going strong for long, I sell them and go for the coins I'm planning to buy. There are rare chances of coins getting listed on popular exchange or even CMC which could boost the price. But you keep them checking in order not to miss the price bump.

If by selling it I will only get dust then I won't even try to sell it. It's a waste of investment, it's better to just wait and maybe a miracle could happen and it will somehow save all the money that we spend by purchasing it.

There are many project tokens which are not listed in the market but later get listed and come at a good price. My fast job was in an altcoin campaign but till now I didn't get coins from that campaign then I never worked in any other altcoin campaign. But if I had altcoins that were very low price or not listed in the market I would definitely keep those coins if they are of good quality or could go to a good position in the future. Because there are many campaign teams that work according to the team road map and later on listing a good exchange, the price of that coin becomes very good.

I still have my altcoins in my wallet that came from the bounty campaign, and I can't do anything about it since most of them are still at a lower price and the reward is not that high before, you can just ignore it and wait for the right time to sell though of course there's no guarantee for those low value altcoins, just take the risk and expect less. Altcoins with a low value are just being ignored, it's hard to attract investors if the project itself is not ok fundamentally.

Altcoins cannot hold their value for long because there are huge amount of Altcoins competing with each other in the market. There is not just one altcoin in the market like bitcoin but thousands of altcoins so investors are always changing their investment choice. And the price of altcoin fell quickly.  So I don't think holding Altcoins long term can be a good decision.  If you want to hold long term it should only be Bitcoin.  So I would never hold any Altcoin long term except ETH & BNB

Of course, some coins are still very cheap. Selling them at this price is unlikely to make a substantial profit. If the projects are good, have a future use case, have an active team and a strong community, then they can be expected to improve in the future. Then they can be held for the future in the hope that we can get a good profit from them in such a situation. However, they can be kept on this basis, there is no other way.

After the campaign ends nothing can be said for sure whether it will be useless or successful, as I said if it keeps updating its project, good expectations can be set, otherwise it will remain with us, but we Nothing will be gained from them. However, we should hope well and continue our efforts.

This depends on the token we are converting. There are some exchanges that we can convert any amount of token depending on the market cap of the token and the value. Although this might not be allowed in some exchanges but we can still swap available tokens easily. There are different project in the market which we can decide to invest in depending on our interest and what we plan to benefit in the market. Meme coins are one of the projects we can invest in and make some profits for ourselves.

The best you can do is to wait for the price to pick up especially fro those tokens on the Ethereum network, the transaction fees will rob you of your gains, some of these tokens will go to zero in value but those that will pump will make it worth it. Seriously I haven't taken part in any signature campaign that pays it participants in coins,  but the thing is that I have been involved in a few airdrop and my experience with those tokens/coins has been nothing to write home about, The majority of them have become a total spam couns in my wallet.

While some few of them are of low value and with no hope of any future recovery for them,  so for that point I just look away from the whole thing and concentrate on the real investment in those few coins that have real value and proven templates to work with other than just creating hopes with and in worthless coins.

Some alts I kept holding were abandoned and eventually ceased to exist while some went to lows to never recover from — still existing but meager volume and low price, and there was one that rose to new heights after rebrand which was ETHLEND, now AAVE.

What I'd suggest is to hold it if it's not worth to sell. I had received around 50 ETHLEND tokens, sold them peanuts, and AAVE's ath is 661$, still trading above $100.

I think You are pointing out at the Elon Coin, that's the signature campaign you and a lot of people here doing including myself. the token is currently only in few small exchanges. so my plan is to hold them until they get listed in a major exchange or gain significant value in market.

Its been a while since my last altcoin campaign and to be honest its profitable before during ICO versions. But right now the quality of signature in altcoins have been decreased and almost not profitable. Im saying this cause Ive seen some campaign ending up dead or display tokens on hunters wallet. But you may try to join some campaign that shows from time to time. The technique there is a proper due diligence, youll knew of the project is worth joining or not.

Doing signature work just to be paid in altcoin is not working wise decision, I might though accept if it's listed on an exchange with enough liquidity that will not be giving me issues later with slippage. I'm not sure if it's worth holding from my personal experience but we have people that he luck when they pump. Anytime they get paid, they hold it and do like they forget it since the tokens or coins have low marketcap and when they get small trend and recognized by one or two influencers, they sell as soon as they see profits.

You can't be lucky all the time, if you have 10 altcoins in your wallet, there is a chance that 2 will pump and the rest will remain idle for the rest of their lives and if the token is listed on decentralized exchanges like Pancake, uniswap and, quickdwap and then the team decide to remove the liquidity, it die off completely and you holding the coin will not be able to sell again because swapping is now discontinued. Even if it's been listed on Cex, they will delist it immediately to save their customers or block deposit. These are some of the challenges you nigh face holding altcoins from signature or even investing on them.

The first question you should asked yourself here is; are those altcoin listed in exchange or are they trading currently?
I think after that you can begin to asked about their holdings and what values it is in the market currently because i have involved myself in few of the altcoin campaign and some of it has listed and has no value while those that are not yet listed has no value and can't be spent out there if not listed in the market.

What most of the project owners does is that, they will hold participants payment till they list and after they list in the exchange they will introduce some thing like swapping their token to newer token and as a participants if you don't follow up the project and the deadline is met they won't accept to swap your token that is another way to burn out their total supply.

I believe you are talking about Bounty campaigns since signature campaigns pay only in Bitcoin, so it's the signature campaigns inside the bounty campaigns that pay in altcoin tokens and I believe it depends on the nature of the project and the availability of the token or coin in the market about what a participant should do with their assets. If you have some tokens and the project is a good one and you know it has great potential and can have growth in the future, you can hold your tokens.

However, if you think that it's just a normal project, and there is no surety if the project is going to grow in the future or not, you shouldn't hold the tokens and sell them immediately after they are received so that you don't have them lose value because if the project has no potential, the price of their token might lose value.

This is what I learned during the early days of my accumulation of alts.
You need to dispose it while it has still value in the market, otherwise, you will be holding worthless coins or tokens.
Because most have no reason to exist at all, once the team dumped their holdings, it will slowly decline its value.
And up until, no more trading activity is observed on this project. So yes, better discard it while it is actively traded in the market.

Though a few alts will prosper, but most of them are gonna lose value.
IMO, it's not really worth the risk holding those type of coin, I'd rather sell them at any price while they still has value then I'll use that money to buy alts that actually has a potential or buy more fractions of bitcoin.

Although it is true that there are a large number of altcoins competing in the market, this does not mean that they will not increase in value in the future, may be very rare.  Some altcoins have unique features and use cases that set them apart from others. Some altcoins have strong development teams and partnerships that contribute to their long-term value. However, the decision to wait for future worthless tokens to potentially increase in value is up to you and what you think is best for your unique situation.

The altcoins weren't bought as an investment so I don't bother holding, I sell them and use the money to buy other altcoins that I like and I will continue holding that altcoins until I get some profits. I have heard of many people who made good fortunes by selling their bounty coins. But majority of these stories happened in the early days of the cryptocurrency evolution. These days, there are too many scam coins with no road map and credible team behind them. Nothing to do if the token accumulated got low value since for sure we cannot trade that since the volume would surely if not zero it goes less since the dev already drained all the volume since usually what happen there is they scam those people believing their project.

Yes, this is one of the main risks when joining up these things on which there would really be no assurance that you could really be able to make yourself having those worthy coins to be worthy of the time that you had spent on promoting that project. I get my seed phrase but e no dey work. Please how many numbers do you have in your seed phrase? Because when I counted my own I discovered that I got almost 18 words instead of 12 so I am thinking that I did the mistake but if I did how come I wrote the 18 out of 12. Well that is by the way, you have to keep your seed phrase in a safe place so that even if you change your device you can retrieve it back easily.

And if I will advise you, before you change your device make sure you login the wallet in another device first and see your coins before logout from the old device. I've also joined signature campaigns that pay altcoins in the past.

What I'm doing when I'm still joining those signature campaigns is that, when it gets listed on any exchange, I will create an account on that since they will announce where they will list that token a few days before the actual listing, deposit the tokens there then sell immediately. No need to hold those tokens because in the end, the price of the token will plummet because of bounty hunters (like me at that time) who would rather hold coins like Bitcoin or even Tether than just a random altcoin that's new. I got one token that I got in the signature campaign and decided to hold it for years just for the experiment. I might be lucky because that coin that I held went up x10 and I sold it immediately as soon as I saw its price.

Anyway, to answer your questions, most of the time I don't hold those tokens because I believe that the price of it will plummet in the future. If it goes up in price then lucky for those who choose to hold. As for the coin becoming valueless, most of the project's tokens end up like that. Tokens becoming worthless because people are selling them, lack of community behind them until they will just become abandoned, or dead coins that's why I don't recommend holding these kinds of tokens. I'm not saying that all projects end up like that though because there are still some projects who launched a signature campaign here, and ended up as a successful one, and still developing until now.

I still have some dust amounts of tokens left in my wallets from when I was doing some yield farming several years ago. Sometimes to boost the APR in their liquidity pools DEXs will incentivize you with extra rewards paid out in their native token. For those chasing bounties or airdrops this is definitely a problem and there is no perfect solution, if you sell your coins now you may not get much from them, but at least you can get something, however if you wait hoping for the best, the coins you have could be worth nothing in just a few months, but as unlikely as it could be, you may have gotten the right coin and it could skyrocket, allowing you to sell those coins for a price much higher than what you may have gotten if you decided to sell those coins immediately, so take a decision about what to do based on your needs and how much you expect to get out of those coins.

If it were to be a matter of choice of one's money, I would have advised you to diversify it by buying many coins to spread the risk of not performing as expected. But as it is now, this is a campaign, you do not have any choice but to wait provided you have the belief in such a token. You won’t be so sure if they will increase value or lose value along the road that’s why they say cryptocurrency is risky, you just have to take a risk and hold your assets for a while and see where the market takes you.

Yes selling of coins which you have received from bounties is a good step because as more people sell these tokens the price of it gets reduces and there are large number of other participants in bounties too that prefer to sell these tokens on time and when you failed to sell immediately then you will face trouble in selling it. Based on my experience better to dump it after you receive it, 90% of the coins I've received coming from the bounty in the last three years lose their value and become a shitcoin, there's no hope for altcoins now, it's more than a gambling investing in trending and meme coins right now, Pepe and Shiba Inu is a long shot something many of us did not expect to get the hype.

Well, this statement is not 100% true. I know I got some airdrop of the coins and I sold them immediately after being listed on the exchanges but later those coins performed well and were valued more than my selling price. But not all coins behave like this. Some coins get listed on exchanges and keep on dump. It depends upon the team as well. Who said Eloncoin is not listed? Token is already listed but token receive from signature is low because the real payment givens through BTC. There is no need trying to sell what is valueless. Any altcoin or shitcoin that is less than $5 has no potential to be sold because even in Cex it below the minimum selling order. Agreed no need, but for some reasons, you may end up holding those coins in your wallet and there is nothing you can do about it, this has been the experience of every altcoin investor or airdrop hunters in the past, they got paid in those worthless coins who never made it to the exchange, or crashing immediately after their hit the exchange without any sign of recovery at any point in time.

The best way is to just keep in their wallets until the coin gain value then you can sell them off if their is a little increase in the coin because if you want to make big profit from those coins, it won't work. This happened to me myself, I used to participate in social media, content and signature campaign bounty programs for altcoins. Indeed, at that time ICO was still good and gave a lot of results if the ICO was successful. However, there are quite a few altcoins that are worthless even now. There is no really much you can do apart from holding and hoping that the price rises. It can really be a pain in the ass holding tokens that you don't know when they will rise. If the altcoins have made it to exchange probably a reputable CEX, then there could be hope of it rising someday but if they are in some funny exchanges where things like pump and dump happens, it could be possible the founders have already sold their token, leaving investors behind.  It will be rare to see any active investor in cryptocurrency that do not have few of those coins they are waiting to pump. i was participated in many altcoins signature and still now i'm promoting a project which will pay in altcoins. and i will never hold if i received coins after campaign finished.
because no guarantee these will survive long time on the market, most of the time these will be dead if will not listed good exchange. 

In some cases there are some altcoins that may have good life span even after ending it's project on the forum here so most times taking a closer look and making a little research on the coin can be a good way of observing if the coin will be listed in a good exchange or not and once you get lucky and the coin is listed, it's going to be a lucky day for you because there are some altcoins that will increase in value once the project has been completed it has happened several times and people also benefited.

I have a lot of altcoins that I have worked on in campaigns. I got good profit from many altcoins in the beginning and held many altcoins hoping for more profit and got no results in return. But the good altcoins are seen early on so if you can hold on to those coins then you will have better success later on. Currently most altcoins are best sold immediately after not having good success. An altcoin that doesn't list on a good exchange to begin with won't do well later.

It depends on the project you are promoting, not all campaign projects will survive, and not all will die.
some are still around today, although they won't always be the top ones.
Several projects that held campaigns that I know are still on the market, namely Harmony, Powerledger, Vulcanforged, and many more. I don't remember because it's been a long time. but it prove that a several project can survive, event improve time by time.

yes they can survive but majority of them falls short in trading volume after a while though and even if they retained trading volume they've fallen quite far from their all time high that it makes me doubtful whether they can truly grow as high as it was before.

It's normal to see many new altcoins don't succeed in listing in the market and end up as a trash in our wallets.

Low market cap project can do wonderfully well in the market if we know how to look for good ones and hold. As for Altcoins, we don't know what crazy things will happen to them. Consider them currently as meme coins, with low value, but at some point their price can grow greatly. Do tokens that people get from bounties listed on exchanges by the time the tokens are distributed? I used to think that most of these tokens are not yet listed and people who get them from bounties will need to wait for a certain period before they can sell their tokens because the project teams would be working on the developments and everything when they are running the bounty campaigns to promote their projects.

If they have fallen to a minimum and there are huge minuses, I try not to sell them; there are frequent cases when they rise and give an excellent profit, even with many minuses covered. In my opinion, there is no point in selling them downstairs and I don’t see any benefit, at least they’ll try to dump them into a hard minus.

Personally, if a coin's price drops so low that it might as well be zero, I'll sometimes hold onto it. There's always a tiny chance it could unexpectedly skyrocket. Mate what if you continue holding but the coin keeps depreciating in price what will you do, I think most altcoin doesn't possess the capacity to improve in the market so the best thing to do is to invest in much more promising bitcoin which has shown a high level of trust and hope for it's investors.

I personally first see whether the project is good or not and see who the bounty manager is who organizes the bounty, then I join the bounty campaign and I don't expect more about the prize because it can be said that sometimes luck also applies, that's why I Usually, when I get a prize, I sell it straight away. I hold it for a week at most, because in my personal experience, the exchange rate for prizes drops by 50% on average, that's why I sell at the beginning. That's why the prizes from the campaign have gone down because on average those who get prizes immediately sell their tokens.

Many have become collections and are never heard of again. I also have quite a lot of shitcoins in my investment wallet. So, if we draw the basic conclusion that the best solution is to look for the fundamental ones, the others are only temporary.

But, Look at Hex coins how they are now. i will be monitoring this coin from now on as it is rising unlike other coins still very good to buy right now.

Luck plays well with most of the projects that you'll going to join the campaing, like you, it's better not to expect that much and if you already have the chance to sell what you've got from the early stage of the bounty release, better to sell and and enjoy whatever the price that you've gain, just move forward to another campaign and repeat the cycle, time might come that you'll be able to make some decent amount of money from each campaign, just make sure to participate with managers who have good credentials think that they may not waste time or they'll not going to sacrifice their reputation, chances is good to make some benefits.
