I can't discourage you though as it might be a nice initiative but really not necessary.

I also have some interesting histories of our country that I will love to share with us here. Some of which will rekindle our love for the country we used to have and how things have degenerated today.

An example of this interesting history is in our currency. Our Kobo and our Naira. In 1976, that's around 48 years ago, 75 Kobos back then used to be exchanged with 1 British Pounds Sterling whereas 60 Kobos was exchanged for a dollar then. Here we are not even talking about a Naira. Today, a dollar has turned to an equivalent of 1,000 naira.

There also live a time, where as a Nigerian holding our own passport, you do not need to apply for visa I.e Visa-free to travel to the United Kingdom. But today, our passport is so weak to the point that country like Rwanda and other part of Africa, have stronger passports than the supposed, giant of Africa.

In 1965 Cocoa House in the city of Ibadan, which is the capital of OYO state in Nigeria was the tallest building in Africa, now there are other edifices and bigger structures more than we can count.

There are so many more interesting history of Nigeria that we can talk about here but let's leave it for others who are more experience to add to our voices more.

I think  president umaru Musa yaradua was a good president but because of death he didn't last long on the seat . Goodluck Jonathan was a good president, but Umaru Musa Yar'Adua was the man of the people, some consider him as the best president Nigeria has ever produced, and I personally I will choose Musa Yar'Adua over Goodluck Jonathan, but that doesn't take away the fact that Jonathan was a good president too,

Exactly boss, this thread is needless but it's here we can just peep without noting down something here, if I may say, Nigeria history has much negativity than positivity, I said this because during the military regime I think things were a little but better compared to this era where looting has become a usual thing, people now loot for pleasure, they see government positions as a personal thing, during the military regime the refinery was functioning very well but as soon we entered into what they called democratic compensation everything changed, this stuff has been giving me a lot of concern thats why I don't like discussing anything about the history of this country.

When people are talking about leadership I think this past late President Musa Yaradua has indicated to us the slight sweetness of what it suggests to give birth to a reasonable administrator just as you have said if not for his demise I guess we the Nigerians are not to wear we are today, Honestly speaking he was one of the best Nigerians that could ever happen to the country.

Lolz..., if one keeps looking at the nature of our country, one will think of abandoning or lose interest in knowing or learning the history of the country. This is because this history may make one keep thinking about how our leaders has used their corruption to spoil our blessed country.
