But if you deposit $10, win $5 and withdraw $15, then what? Go to shop and buy food that wont expire for long time? Make investment? Or buy medicine for example? Imo with small winning people would be always irresponsible, no matter how financially educated, experienced in life or smart in general they are.

Finally I see a different situation by reading the ideas you convey, honestly I quite agree with your statement that the situation experienced by the OP is only when we are really lucky and then consider choosing a more appropriate and wise decision by prioritizing cashing out the winning amount, this is a situation where gamblers manage to get a big win which means several times the amount of capital they bring. But on the other hand, this wise consideration I think is quite difficult for them to choose if the winnings are not much, they will think and assume that "this amount is meaningless" even though basically it can also still be called a win and the difference may be only a small amount that is visible.

Winning on gambling does give out that kind of good feeling but on the time that you would really be that wise on taking assurance into those winnings that you had taken.
Buying up something that you should really be that wise considering that you might be losing back those money back again into the house if you do continue on playing gambling.

Not really, it depends if the person can afford the entertainment or not.  If a person need to borrow money to buy his entertainment item then that is very irresponsible of a person but @OP don't borrow the money, instead he used his winnings to buy the item he wanted.  It is a free money that he bought for his entertainment and I do not think that is an irresponsible act.   It can be considered  a better way to spend his winnings than losing it all to casino.  But of course there are better ways of spending the money like what you have stated but a comparison between what @OP did and losing the money back to the casino, @OP did the better thing.

Congratulations on your win and how you spent it wisely. It is memorable for sure because as the years go by when you see that television you will say that you bought it because of your winnings in gambling, it recalls your winnings and how you spent them. Yes it seems that the OP was really lucky at the time so he could buy the items he needed to complete the needs in his house, but this topic only dominates when someone is really lucky by managing to get a big win, of course with that then maybe we can complete the idea that in gambling it is not always about winning but there are two situations of winning and losing, the situation will be different and will not be included in the discussion in this topic if for example we lose. But overall I think what the OP is doing is something we should consider and follow in terms of using the winnings wisely rather than applying greed and starting over with an uncertain end result.

I wish I have an extraction Smerits, I would have given you some because you just said exactly what was on my mind, however that's true, many gamblers don't know what to use their money for, so even if they win bigger money or small money they will still use them to gamble instead of using part of it to buy or do something that when ever they sees it, they will remember where they got the money to buy them.

You dont get it. It is ok that OP shared his luck and happiness of buying long time desired TV. I feel happy for him, his wish, goal is fulfilled now. But he was talking about responsibility, while his bet was rather irresponsible. He was talking about being wise when spending money won, but he has spent his money on a risky bet. That does not make sense. He was talking about one thing and did completely opposite previously.

Greed arises after winning the first time and thinking, I could win more if I gamble more. In the end, gambling is a trap for those who want more, a trap for people who are not using smart of their winnings, it goes back to the casino where it comes.

I've heard a story about our country that won the jackpot prize, it is a huge money but after a few months, all of it was gone including his assets and it is because of a wrong spending habit.
