I would not feel comfortable. Because in the society women holds a high prestige of caretaker of the family. They play a role of a good leadership of taking care of their husband, children also play a vital role in taken responsibility of the entire family in all ramifications. So women are the back bone if the family. Seing them gambling is like we have lose them to the faith of addiction. What would be the fate of the family when the caretaker of the family has lost it value due to gambling  addiction?

I may feel worried because the older people become the higher chance Of having a higher blood pressure (HBP). meaning frequent lose may affect her health condition and she may collapse one day and die because of HBP.

Honestly, I think that overall all children will definitely not feel comfortable when their parents, especially their mothers, are involved in gambling, even if for example they only make gambling as an activity to fill their spare time and seek pleasure but still, no matter what your approach is, the potential for bad possibilities will always be a possibility, on the other hand, I do not wish your parents to become addicted gamblers but I only see from the concept of gambling that whoever you are and no matter how good your approach to gambling is, the change towards impulsive gambling will always be a possibility.

I feels that too because in society can easily judge that someone is bad because of what he/she doing. If our society knows that our mother playing gambling, we can't accepts what our society will say. Maybe they will gives a bad name to our mother and even all of our family members and that can ruins our relationships between our society. Mother are the back bone in the family who take cares of their children and if our mother addicted to gambling, we can't imagine what will happens to our family. Maybe our family members will also playing gambling and that will ruins the family relationships. It's our jobs to helps our family who gets addicted to gambling to cure themselves so they can realizes that they doing wrong for their family. We must gives attentions to them so they can gets out from gambling immediately.

Why should I not be comfortable if she is gambling responsibly. But I will prefer she should do it online instead of offline using betting agent. Because as I saw that image, that is a betting agent shop and I will not like to see my mother there. This is because in my country, only young guys are common in such a place and that would be an embarrassment for my mother and me. But if it is online that she is doing it, I will not be worried at all if she is gambling responsibly.

Your right doing it online makes it more comfortable and secured so as to avoid embarrassment and insults from people,for me I would be very uncomfortable and worried seeing my mum go to such betting shops to place bets.

The thing is this elderly woman have been into the betting/gambling game and that very day I think she was having a positive mindset that the games would put on a big win,so as it didn't turn out that way,that's the reason it showed on the other part of the picture that she was frustrated and confused but nevertheless she would have use her phone or probably ask her son if she has to play for her instead of stressing herself going to the bet shop.

This case is very similar to my neighbor where he is an old gambler that we know in our neighborhood, at that time he placed a gambling bet with all his savings because he felt sure and confident of winning but ultimately failed and lost that night. because of the increasing emotional level in him, his illness finally recurred, as his high blood pressure rose, which ultimately caused him to suffer a heart attack and died on the spot. It was very unfortunate that this happened because actually he didn't need to put all his money on one bet.

I don't know what gambling game he played that night but as far as I know he was so happy with sports betting he shouldn't have put all his money on one bet, in the end there were complications with his illness and he died on the spot, I think as a child he should have paid attention Our parents or uncles who may be elderly but still like to gamble should be advised not to gamble to maintain their health, especially in many cases of elderly people who sometimes have uncontrolled emotions which can cause those emotions to trigger illnesses which can ultimately lead to illness. make someone die because of it.

There are places where it's  normal and a regular thing seeing elderly women gambling in a gamble shop but in this part of the world it is uncommon and for that it seems weird seeing such an elderly woman seriously gambling and that's why many persons are pondering about her engagement in betting.

I won't be happy for many reasons, as an elderly person there things she should consider which is her health and I believe that her health should be her major priority, standing in a bet shop for a long period of time can trigger some some health issues, as we know already gambling is an emotional thing and elderly people are suppose to avoid anything that involves emotion because emotional stress can worsen high blood pressure which is the health conditions of elderly people.
It will be a great concern to me if I notice this habit from my mother because indirectly she will not be having money for immediate needs again and this will be a great danger for us her children, losing funds alone will make her sick, as an elder person, her immune system is no longer strong so if care is not taken, anything can easily attack her, I will definitely try my best to stop her if I find out that she is doing this.

Busted operations sound nice to the ears, but you have to observe the root cause of this type of behavior. That lady is a gambling addict and the addiction is inside them ready to take control whenever they see a chance to gamble. Hence the lady should be careful to avoid any sort of chance based games in the future and the people living with her should be made knowledgeable about it so they can intervene when she shows relapse.

I understand your scenario of the aunty that you know gambling plus other women too who gamble just like the picture that Op posted but I don't think the police would have to arrest the men who are there when the women are gambling neither should they arrest the women because they are adults and not exempted from gambling except the law of the country forbid them from gambling and they secretly connive with the men to allow them to gamble. My point therefore is why will the police catch them and what kind of illegality did they commit.

Gambling is just like the air. Everyone have the right to breathe so despite the age you can gamble, but as a mother, you should make sure your children are comfortable and living a good life before gambling and losing because gambling is a very big problem that can come to you if you didn’t take a proper caution, because you will lose some important money that you use for the family and it will turn to a frustration, so I may not advise Model of the age to put more attention in Gambling

From the image, it seems like she was patiently waiting for others who were there before her; she waited for them to finish their own prediction and gambling, sitting at a place and watching them before she later moved over to the canter to start her own prediction.
 
After a long stand of eh, cut me 1, let me try again till she finally ends up losing all that she came in with to the gambling shop. That was when she realised that she had made a big mistake that day, which shows how frustrated she is as she stands there like that.
 
Seeing someone like that in a gambling shop will definitely raise an eyebrow, but then again, she is just a normal gambler like all of us. What makes it different is the age and gender, which are uncommon to find in a physical gambling shop, but aside from that, we are all there for the same thing, and I would not judge her for her actions.

Yeah I mean to me this just looks like an old lady trying to finally catch her luck train because she has lost in gambling her whole life. I don't know if that is the case or not but that is what I would imagine when looking at this picture. Honestly tho I think OP makes a good point I think it is less common for an elderly woman and more common for an elderly man to be the gambler. Woman, especially elderly woman tend to hold onto their money as tight as they can. That is how I remember both my grandmas. To my knowledge only my grandpa on my dad's side had a gambling addiction and he lost a lot from what i've heard.

Of course it will be a risk to his health and obviously I will forbid him from looking for better and healthier activities, rather than having to gamble, of course there is a lot of pressure when he experiences a physical defeat which can have an impact on the heart if he has a history of heart disease, there is no prohibition against playing.  There are no gambling restrictions either, but the bottom line is that if you have a lot of money or are a billionaire then it's legal, but not as an example. People who have money are not required to do that.
