Have you holding any gaming based altcoins?

Have never thought of any gaming tokens and even if I want I will go for what will bring profit, seeing different kinds of game tokens and I don't think I will be interested to buy any.
I only go for what will bring profit and if not profit I'm not investing, few days I checked about tokens and coins and I came across AXS, I don't know how the market cap have been for long and seeing the recent price I believe low budget investors can buy but I have no idea if this token is so good.

There are no plans to keep coins in the gaming category, especially with Axie Infinity. I know quite well and have played the game where you have to play by buying troops at a fairly expensive price and the price varies according to the criteria and use of the hero character to run the game smoothly

Try digging deeper if you want to know about the Axie Infinity game, because this game is in the p2e (play to earn) category. because to play it requires initial capital. If you have to choose, it's better to collect potential altcoins like you do, buy cheap and sell high, that's what I've been doing for a long time. but I have never collected coins in the game category

Anyway, I think that those are two different strategies. You also can win money in a P2E game, even starting with a small investment, cause most of the games your earns are based on your PVP skill making other players pay to you, but this is difficult to keep alive. Or the loser players stop playing, or the economy suffer giving tokens to all players playing PVE. So accumulate tokens is okey, but probably is faster doing both, accumulating and playing at the same time.

The best thing that investors can do is to play and accumulate tokens, at the same time. Gaming projects has to create a big community of gamers to keep the economy healthy (selling pressure will always be bigger than buying pressure), but this only can be done with a Free to play mode that attract players continuously and making them pay for something like skins, special items... Arker is a good example of it.

Frankly, I personally never hold game-based altcoins, because I am more interested in altcoins that have high fundamentals and popularity in the crypto world, because my goal of investing is to make a profit, not to seek integrity, that's why I only choose altcoins that  sure like ethereum and binance.

I have no plans to hold gaming-based altcoins. To date I have seen almost all gaming based altcoins underperform and end up with a rug pull. This is the reality of what happens and therefore I never hold gaming based altcoins. If I buy it during the initial offering or ICO then I will sell it when I get 200 - 300% of the initial price. This is important to protect my money because I will use it to buy other projects.

From my long time experience in crypto gaming projects investors are few and far between and have seen many gaming projects die. Most of the people are busy with altcoins, btc holding and trading process which makes it difficult to get success in gaming projects. Moreover there are many altcoins that are used to make gaming studios and as a result they have yet to reach their all-time highs. So you follow the bullish market and pack a big bag.

I still hold some SLP from Axie Infinity I earned by playing the game in 2021. Since they have been too cheap, I prefered to not sell my tokens, as it seems to not worth at all... I don't have much hopes they can still get valuable in the future, because there isn't a considerable demand for these tokens anymore, but who knows. Better to hold than sell for almost nothing, otherwise you will be just paying exchange's fees to receive dust of money in counterpart.

Anyway, I don't have any plans about holding other gaming altcoins anytime soon. These altcoins are purely based on speculation on most cases and don't bring long term benefits to holders and investors. I would only change my mind if a decent and enjoyable blockchain game were launched, so I wouldn't be acquiring the altcoins only for speculative purposes, but also to play the game and take advantage of its features. In that case, consequently the game would be a huge success, becoming more profitable for everyone involved on the project.

It means that when a game is entertaining, it's also more profitable, because automatically demand for the product is raised organically, instead of focusing only on dumb and temporary speculation, which is pretty artificial.

I have Axie before but I sold them during the hype which I see it was the best decision I made making me earn more money. Because if I had held them, for sure I was in regret now after seeing the collapse of these game-based projects. Maybe some of them still exist but the value is unacceptable and not tradable. This is expected to happen because the majority of the hyped projects, after the surge it drop straight to the ground. Investing in them is quite profitable short time but if we think about holding, that is a wrong idea as this will only give us losses.

It was hopeless for these projects to wake up as the interest of the people was over. They've prepared to see new projects in hype rather than seeing it back.

I actually still hold RNDR. Because I still hope there will be more increases from that one altcoin. But the increase that occurs may not be as good as the previous halving. Because new game projects like IMX might have more potential. Because I see the development of their project is quite rapid at the moment.

I have heard of Axie Infinity but to be honest back then I did not particularly have any sort of interest in that game. It got really popular back then and now I understand why. If I hadn’t seen your post, I would totally have forgotten about it.

I don’t have a lot of experience regarding gaming based altcoins. I think it has something to do with the device I am using so if chance permits me to upgrade to a better software, I’ll probably try participating with gaming based altcoins. I think they could be both fun and profitable.

The previous NFT hype which was indeed very extraordinary made several projects that experienced a good increase in terms of altcoins and it is undeniable that several altcoins based on play to earn games were once very popular.

I personally in the previous NFT hype have indeed held several alt such as Sand and Axie because it is to support the games I play especially in this case I am like a game enthusiast and when I like a game then I will play it including Sandbox and Axie.
But on the other hand in this case I don't consider that it is an investment for me even though in the end there are some benefits that I get there but I don't really consider this an investment because after all with the previous NFT hype the related altcoins have increased and it is quite natural in utilizing for personal gain.

This was very popular at that time. In fact, the increase at that time was quite sky-high and attracted many people to invest. Most of those who are concerned about gambing based tokens are definitely familiar with this token.

With a fairly high ATH of $165.37. and currently the price is only around $ 10.67, this token can actually attract attention for investors to buy it again.

But the question is, is it worth it and can this token be traded again when it is bullish? I personally wouldn't be that serious and trusting. That's enough for now as a lesson and just wait for the right time to take profits from purchasing AXS in the previous bullish era. But actually, I don't want to hope too much for the token's progress.

I am still holding AXS but it is not a lot and they're good as gone whether it pumps a lot or not. Currently, I am into its RON token and I am staking it and waiting for some good gains about it.

$3 was the launching price of it and it has not been yet on any ATH and that's why once it gets there, I'll start selling them and going to leave that token forever without any plans of buying back.

This is my approach now on this market for so many altcoins while my Bitcoin and ETH are sitting and I won't be touching them unless I start selling.

I hold it for quite a long time because this altcoin was not yet listed on any exchange. Even with the big investors characteristics that it has (LIVE) I sincerely don't think it's worth holding for a long time , because it might not even get listed anymore. This days coins can easily be listed but it's left for the devs to continue building the project to the level which investors can make profit.

But well it's your personal decision to hold an alt for long time but I guess it's because it's not yet soldable to some extent that's why you still have it in your custody.

I have come across some great game base altcoins that have done remarkably well like PlayDapp, Moxy and others. Some are making giant strides in their respective space with large communities and solid team. However, my involvement in most of them is limited to usage in their platforms. I have not really thought about them on the aspect of holding for profits. I think the reason might be that I have other alternatives I consider suitable for my portfolio and that is how it is. My selection criteria for token to add to my portfolio is complex, I consider many other factors that people ignore. Gaming is too revolutionary for me and a little discovery can take previous people out of business.

Many casinos have their coin that they are promoting. And in those days like years back those gaming coins were given problem to gamblers to withdraw so mut of the gamblers are not interested to use those games or casinos. But Binance and othe centralized exchanges are listed them so to withdraw is easy now and in most time we use trustwallet. Because in trustwallet you can send to any other platforms and sell your coins.

And to make the write up short, I am not holding any gaming coins for not except the time bitlucy gaming project game and I was investing in it but later they were concerted to other coins because the was malfunctioning.
