I'm applying for becoming a merit source on Turkish local board. I'm having most of my time in a day online on the forum.

Even though we are one of the biggest local communities on the forum the number of our merit sources isn't enough. Ratimov/Symmetrick were helping the Turkish board before to make up these deficiencies. However as everyone knows this isn't possible from now on. The common idea of everyone on our local board is that we need one more merit source.

I think the people who are active on gambling board and Turkish local board know me.   I know there are members who can do this work much better than me on our board. When I talked to some of them they said they didn't have enough time for this work.

If you want to be a merit source:

 1. Be a somewhat established member.
 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.

I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections.

En eski numaralardan birisi.

Görünen 9300 tx'in 9000'den fazlası bot işlemler. Bot işlemler yapılırken olası en düşük masrafı kullanmak için ayarlanmış bu nedenle de sürekli olarak hatalı tx'ler oluşuyor. Yatırım yapan son 10 adres. 430 tx var hepsinde toplam, tx'lerin 1/4'ünü binance hot wallettan gelen para 300 küsürünü de bu kontrata gönderilen para oluşturuyor. Bu proje bariz şekilde dolandırıcıdır.

VC'lerden yatırım alma konusunda da küçük bir fikir ayrılığımız var. Kalitesiz VC'lerden iyi projelerin uzak durduğu kesin AU21 Capital gibi sadece ön satışlara katılıp proje piyasaya çıkar çıkmaz malı boşaltanlardan bahsediyorum. Lakin a16z, panthera gibi yatırım şirketleri çoğu durumda projelere yaptığı yatırımı uzun soluklu olarak tutuyor, ilaveten her alanda projenin gelişimine destek sağlıyorlar. O yüzden A+ kalite bir VC bu piyasadaki hangi projenin kapısını çalsa içeri girer.

Mexc ve bitmart hiç bir şey için gösterge değiller, 10k USD verirsem evdeki kirli çoraplarım için bile işlem açarlar. Hatta eğer 10k kişilik çoğu botlardan oluşan telegram grubu sahibi projelerin bile peşinde koşup bedava listeleme teklif ediyorlar. 7) Ölümüne Takım Tutmak

Fanatizmi veya holiganizmi yüceltmek istemiyorum bu konuda. Konu başlığı biraz öyle anlaşılabilir. Fakat asıl amacım taraftar mezarlıklarına dikkat çekmek ve dünyadaki örnekleri listelemek. Fanatizmin ve her türlü holiganizmin karşısındayım.

İlk paradoks önermesini bana göre özetleyecek olursak sürüdeki kara koyunla bağdaştırabiliriz. Yani bulunulan ortamda bir kara koyun olmaz ve çıkıp hayır ulen siz yanlış biliyorsunuz o öyle olmaz ya da ben bunu istemiyorum demezse o ortamdaki herkes sonuçtan payını alacak oluyor. Sonuç kötü olabilir ya da bireyler aslında bu olayı bile istemiyor olabilirler ama toplum tarafından dışlanma ve benzeri tepkilerden ötürü yusuf yusuf edip birşey diyemiyorlar. Ha birisi sonda ulan deli mi sikti bizi niye böyle yaptık gibi bir feryatta bulunursa da herkes bir bir dökülecektir.

Bu paradoksu ülkemizde yaşamak gerçektende çok muktedir ya da varyasyonlarını en azından hemen hemen hepimiz bir kere yaşamışızdır. Bunun altında yatan sebepleri birkaç atasözüyle kanıtlayabilirim.

Toplumun bazı kesimlerinin, önemli kronolojik olayları tamamen farklı hatırlamasını inceleyen bir fenomen ve bugün sebepleri ciddi tartışmalara yol açıyor, olayı paralel evrenlerle ve uzay zamansallığın kırılmasıyla ilişkilendirenler bile var.

Bunun ülkemizde de çok güzel bir örneği var. Tolga abiye Hugo oynamak için çevirmeli telefonuyla bağlanan bir çocuk zıplayamıyor gibi birşeyler oluyor en sonunda -Hugoyu da sikeyim seni de sikeyim diye yardırıyor. Bunu yaşı 20'nin üstündekilerden çok hatırlayan oluyor. Ama Tolga abi bir programda çıkıp diyor ki böyle bir olay yok kanıtlayan olursa para ödülü vereceğim diyerek bu efsaneye bir son veriyor

bir diğeri ise her adım başı bulunan, mantar gibi üreyen üç harfli marketler. adamlar üretimi kendi istedikleri şekilde yaptırıyorlar. bakın dostlar 2-3 tane market değil devasa bir ekonomiden bahsediyorum. fiyatlar istedikleri şekilde dizayn edilebiliyor. bunda da yine devletimizin suçu var. bakkalar batıyor muhabbeti yapmıyorum. bu kadar sayıda marketin açılmasının hiçbir mantıklı tarafı yok, birileri zengin edilirken bizlerin canı çıkıyor. şu saatten sonra da herhangi bir düzenleme getirmek çare olmaz. hayvancılık, üretim, elektrik, yol, akaryakıt vs muhabbetlerine girmiyorum bile.

Good luck with your application, i obviously don't visit the Turkish board so i don't know if there is a dearth of merit sources in that section, but if you say there is, then Theymos might consider your application sometime later (because he takes his time with these things).

I can't remember when last Theymos added new merit sources, correct me if i am wrong, but i think it is over two years ago. There are quite a lot of users waiting for approval as well, so welcome to that list, lol, and goodluck mate.

Good luck with your application, i obviously don't visit the Turkish board so i don't know if there is a dearth of merit sources in that section, but if you say there is, then Theymos might consider your application sometime later (because he takes his time with these things).

I can't remember when last Theymos added new merit sources, correct me if i am wrong, but i think it is over two years ago. There are quite a lot of users waiting for approval as well, so welcome to that list, lol, and goodluck mate.

It is not compulsory to do it in that way and i am pretty sure i have seen applications that were posted as links instead of quotes. Personally i would choose links to quotes in this case, as quotes makes the thread large, while links would basically take whoever is interested straight to the posts in question. Anyway, OP already edited to the quote format, so that's fine as well.

It is true that we are having a drop in the numbers of the meirt source if we are looking at the current happenings with some of our merits sources, I don't have to mention with examples, but there's indeed a need to check in the numbers of the sources and perform a check on their individual performances, remove the inactive ones and increase the allocation for the active ones as well, knowing this, we can see that having the need to request for more additional merits sources will be of a good advantage to the forum community.

I have a few questions to throw at you concerning this application.

1. What are your own personal reasons you see that prompted for this application.

2. What difference are you going to make in the distribution of merits if your request is being granted.

Welcome to the waiting list of merit source applications. It's another year waiting for theymos to make some changes and we hope it does happen this year.

I know there are members who can do this work much better than me on our board. When I talked to some of them they said they didn't have enough time for this work.

This is a voluntary job and  any prominent member with the means and time to actually take on the task is worthy enough.

I don't know your Turkish local board in detail, so I can't really make a qualified comment about this but statistics are definitely backing up your suggestion for another Merit source in our local Turkish board.

As someone who knows you from Gambling, I'm sure you'll also dedicate some of your future source sMerit to our quickly growing Gambling section, where you are active and known for your contributions.
Your comments in Gambling are always insightful, you've also delievered big contributions like organizing Bitcointalk's famous F1 season contest and you are well known in this section like from Beers with Steve from Sportsbet.io .

For sure, you'll also do a good job distribution Merit there. Rewarding contributions in Gambling is direly needed to encourage more quality posts, considering the vast amount of spam there.

So, I can only hope your application will be approved quickly.

Imagine a situation similar to Ratimov. OP posted the links but then when theymos was checking the posts, he found nothing is there. I think it makes a good sense for the quote post. Sometimes it amaze me when I see simple lines from theymos but it has great insights.

Your merit source application looks good to me and by the way I believe each local board needs a few merit sources in order to fill out the merit deficiencies. I don't really understand Turkish language and can't say much about the posts that you have quoted in this thread. But, best of luck from my side, I hope Theymos will consider your application and also the applications of all others who have applied to be merit sources.

I have seen many merit source applications and I don't think anyone has been approved by Theymos. I think he is taking his time and might want to do a bulk approval. I also desire to see more merit sources because some of the old ones might not have been active. Good luck with your application.

The gambling board lacks merits flow, since he is an active gamble poster, we might start seeing the flow of merit in the gambling board if his application is approved.

You're right - but so far I haven't found any merit source that do this wrong although there are some tendencies that may not be liked by all users. In the past - I have come across complaints that some merit sources are unfair in that they tend to fail to help more low ranking users to rank up, but that is simply not true. Merit sources can't possibly make all users happy - they also have the same right to ignore many users who they think aren't worth helping.

I support every merit source application - including this one, but unfortunately this application will also be on the waiting list. Theymos may be aware of the need for a new merit source - but he hasn't made up his mind yet. So I hope OP will be patient and continue to update the thread with lots of quality posts.

Since Ratimov is not more interested in supporting the Turkish board and the general boards with merits, I think this is a good move to get another merit source that will support the good people of the Turkish local board in order to support the low-ranking members of the local board.
Theymos might just grant all the merit source applications once, since the applications are now piled up and yet no official announcement on any of them has been approved by Theymos.

Attention! I didn't mean to say that the current sources of merit are doing a bad job, or that there are defects in their distribution. The point is that, as is normal, they already have their standards and award criteria established. Each person distributes merits on this basis. And that's not bad.

I'm just saying that new sources of merit will create new criteria and different forms of distribution. This could generate new dynamism to the forum.

Therefore, I also support - and have already applied for - this and other applications.
