Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not?

Delving into live-gambling games recently, I've come to find dealers to be very likable all in their own unique way.
Usually dealers will be very young, in their twenties or thirties, which is interesting. I've often heard dealers mentioning that they have dreams of becoming actors or that they're studying to become teachers etc. Which is all very admirable. So in spite of the fact that being a dealer requires very high skills and constant attention, they use this job as an opportunity to improve themselves and their future.

Probably this job can get very boring at times also. Dealers follow very repetitive tasks and have to do everything very precisely, often at odd hours too. I've noticed that each of them have their own unique style.
Some really like to strike up conversations with their table and respond to every chat message very thoroughly. Other dealers will not even announce the results, only talking when it's completely necessary.
The thing I like the most is when dealers are genuine and will be completely honest with you. For example if asked how they do they'll just say "I wanna finish my shift and and go home".
When a dealer tries to pretend or make up stuff just to have something to say, for me it's really obvious and unappealing. For instance yesterday I stumbled upon a young roulette host that was very much trying to play into the "dumb blond stereotype" talking about her supposed many ex BFs and how she's going to the club etc. and to me it was really weird hearing the host constantly talking and pretend to be someone they aren't when trying to gamble.
But having genuine conversations, no matter how small, is always interesting and refreshing to me.
One thing I dislike though is that oftentimes dealers have to pay attention to people that see the chat as a flirting app. I'm hoping betting companies would be more strict with that because these people are just cringe and I don't want to cringe when gambling.

Both, a good dealer knows when the conversation is welcome but also can keep quiet and just deal when thats preferred also.   Obviously some people want a real person that is a feature of the game setup and a big plus over no real dealer.   Some conversation will just be a waste of time, Im sure it has to be part of the training that a dealer goes silent, reduces their talk or just changes subject when asked.   Often I would find it a distraction and that moment could happen in an instant which normally would be rude but the game is the focus not the distraction of a talkative dealer hence it requires alot of respect towards the player to really work, its what makes a good dealer I guess.

How can a dealer be silent? I have not noticed that before. But they can be silent and talk when necessary which means they are not talkative. But to be completely silent is another thing and that will make the game boring and not worth it at all. I like dealers that talk but in a professional way and talking about what is related to the current game that we are staking on and sometimes announce some winners. If a dealer fake some conversations, I am not the type that will easily know if he or she is faking it, talking makes it lively. But to some people, winning is what that makes it lively and not the talking.

How can a dealer be silent? I have not noticed that before. But they can be silent and talk when necessary which means they are not talkative. But to be completely silent is another thing and that will make the game boring and not worth it at all. To be honest, I haven't noticed complete silence either.
But rather, let's say when playing blackjack, the dealer can announce so many things that if they announce everything they'll be talking constantly only about the game.
I've noticed oftentimes they'll just announce the really important outcomes like when you go bust by going above 21, but not much more besides that.
Probably the companies hosting the dealers allow them to have their own style, and if they don't feel like announcing everything happening in the game or not talking much at all, it's ok.
But even for the stuff necessary to announce, I've noticed some dealers saying it with such a silent voice that even background noise was louder. And yet the table was full. I guess some people must like this dealing style where the dealer doesn't talk much if at all.

It's all part of the act to get them hook. Selling the sexuality and flirting with thirsty simps in whatever way possible is a marketing strategy. I'm not saying it's ethical or moral but it's generally effective. Of course there will always be exceptions like you but there are probably 10 that would buy for every 1 outlier.

I do like dealer with talkative why because when I bored I used to hear they talk, something about live something just small jokes, Im considered my self as introvert so Im not going to talk with strange but since the live gambling like blackjack is I just hear and the dealer that only talk that is totally fine for me.

Beside that when I want a silence I just played BlackJack with house game and played with computer instead of human tho this all just my opinion

I think I have different moods for this. Sometimes I want to gamble with loud friends for example, but sometimes my mood is also to gamble alone, quietly, and without disturbances. So I guess I don't really prefer a talkative dealer, but neither do I really prefer a dealer who doesn't talk. I will probably choose either of them depending on my mood. Both are good. And this made me realize that casinos shouldn't be too specific when it comes to hiring dealers. Silent and talkative dealers are both appealing in their own right.

Well, I have always thought why these players can interact with these people who are paid to do something that they often do because of the jump to the Live game, (offline) where are the tips, simple they are doing their job.

On the other hand, there are other games that require that hullabaloo on the part of the "dealer" but in most cases online, I don't get too distracted by that kind of interpretation of psychology about dealer.

I always enjoy listening to talkative dealers, but it still depends on my mood because I have moments where I don't like to engage in a conversation and only focus on playing out the rounds.

It is nice to have a small talk with some dealers as they can give off a welcoming vibe, and it can be entertaining when the other players chime in.

If I can't pick both, i'd probably pick a quiet dealer that's straight to the point because there are levels on the side of the talkative dealers.

Liking the talking of the dealer is something that could depend a little on the kind of person the gambler is in terms of aspects such as introversy. Some persons like a talkative dealer because it makes the gamble seem more like a fun and interactive game than just a profit minded game. Some persons could even be of the opinion that   talkative dealers could affect their thoughts during that period of time in a positive manner.
Others may see it as a distraction that could hinder their winning odds. This is because of the fact that probably these set of persons prefer a silent environment to help them calculate better.

I personally prefer talkative dealers because they are more fun and can sometimes make the game atmosphere friendlier even if we lose. I prefer light conversation interspersed with occasional funny jokes. Don't talk about heavy things, especially made-up stories. I prefer the conversation as it is.

But if I'm in a bad mood, I usually don't care what the dealer is talking about and just focus on the game at hand.

I mean look the comment, people even want these dealer talk to you really shit while you are losing some money. Imagine, you getting roasted while you are losing playing blackjack in 4 of the morning ~LOL.

I prefer if the dealer talks a lot because this will be an emotional breaker when on a losing streak.
for example, we gamble on roulette but the dealer only talks when necessary but that's when the losing streak comes and of course situations like this make us very emotional, there is no other entertainment after the betting turns into something annoying.
It's different if we bet at one of the tables and the dealer is always talking or making up funny stories. even if we lose, of course we will be entertained by the story, even though sometimes the story doesn't make sense, I still prefer a dealer who talks a lot and can entertain me.
and usually occurs more often in female dealers.

I don't like the talkative types, I love silence when it comes to playing live games. Sometimes the chat is getting congested because of them and it's better to keep it clean.
But there are also times that I want someone talking there to keep it active. I mean, we don't want to see a chatbox that's last chat with a human was a week ago. Short stories will be fine and it's okay if it's made up because I bet most of them are just to keep the chat active. They may be writing stories at home or they are just copying a story from someone else just so they can provide passive entertainment for the players.
Anyway, I think this depends on the mood. There are players who like to just play and don't really mind those who talk and there are those who like playing roleplay with others just to make the game not boring at all. There are times I answer in different chat boxes in my favorite gambling site because I feel like answering them but if it becomes repetitive, it's kind of irritating me. Some players are acting stupid most of the times even though the information was said seconds ago.

I think it depends on my emotional state at the specific time, day, or moment while playing gambling games with dealers involved. For example, if you are in a serious or calm mode, of course you don't want someone to distract you, but if the dealer is talkative, then you will lose focus and end up listening to the dealer's story, and at the end you might blame them. But if you are in a neutral mode or just having a chill gambling session and the dealer is quite fun, then maybe it is better to hear funny stories so that you will not be bored and the dealer will be too.

But not all people are the same; maybe in one session of a game where a dealer is involved, many players or bettors are present, and not all will be happy if someone is talking in front of them; it may affect their strategy or focus. That's why, if you search in a physical casino, the dealers are most likely silent and just stating the flow of the game or the card results. So in general, maybe it's better if the dealer is silent; it may be hard for them, but we can't do anything from there.

A professional dealer will not talk much, let alone just say things that are not important, professional dealer will be able to understand and determine what conditions are like for the right moment when he makes various statements regarding what is being done in game.
Sometimes gamblers will feel emotional and can't focus on game if the dealer talks too much, maybe this will be enough to lighten the mood but every gambler emotions are different so the dealer must really be able to understand each condition when giving few words.
I myself don't really like dealers who talk too much because it very boring and annoying, I typical gambler who doesn't really like it when there lot of conversation because it doesn't allow me to enjoy what I betting on.
But I think almost all dealers in any game and at any casino always talk lot and what I don't like the most is dealer who makes various statements that make gamblers even more curious to increase the bet amount to bigger one.
Maybe this is their strategy so that gamblers can bet larger amounts and it really very annoying.

For me, it's okay if a dealer is a talkative one at live tables. Sometimes, I understand the appeal of genuine conversation and honesty coming from them. I just don't like those scripted or exaggerated stories. I appreciate a talkative dealer who keeps the atmosphere lively, especially if they have their style at the table. It's important to me that the dealer has a style that enhances my overall gaming experience, like engaging conversations that add to the enjoyment of the time.

I've been watching live poker tables for quite a while now and I'm actually hooked to tables wherein dealers interact with the chat. It feels like you are in the same room with them and the atmosphere they provide is somewhat welcoming, sometimes luring you into buying for a slot in the table. There's a limit to the talkativeness that I can tolerate, though. If they became extra chatty that it's no longer soothing or relieving the tension but rather just adding to it, that's the time that I'd leave the table and choose another one that just has the right tempo and atmosphere.

To be completely honest i do not really care, as long as they do their job and make the necessary announcements at the table. There would be customers who prefer when the dealer talks a lot about unnecessary things and even makes up stories to keep conversing, it is down to individual preferences, but in my opinion it is great if the dealer simply does things moderately and without an excess in anything.

I don't like dealers who talk a lot and even tell things to the players at the table. looks stiff, but I prefer those who don't talk too much and say enough things. I don't care about the interactions at the table. Maybe it's because I personally don't like small talk. I will just focus on the game and not pay too much attention to anything else. Likewise when I play offline with my friends. but when you play offline, there will always be players who are very noisy talking.

for a smooth-talking, matter-of-fact dealer. that's interesting because it's part of how they enjoy their work. they also try to be close to their customers. so they don't want to disappoint players.
