Believe it or not on which there are really those people who are really that able to do those things on which we dont really expect that it could really be happening into someone or they could really be able to do it.

Even myself as a gambler, i did really come into a point that i was slight that being addicted into it but never ever in my life have been able to think up about doing such thing. Yes it is a very stupid act committed by a father, terrible and very worrying when a father prefers gambling over his child who is his own flesh and blood, but from this case we can take a lesson or make it a lesson that this is how bad the impact of gambling is when you can't control it or that means when you come with the wrong understanding and approach. On the other hand, what you said is true even though they managed to get a large enough winnings but however it will not be able to pay for the regret when the feared thing really happened to his son, and also even though the case of a child is still helped because of a neighbor who saved and on the other hand the father managed to get a win but still the amount of winnings will only be enough to finance or solve his problems.

Honestly as a father my mind would not be at rest IfIbwas person the OP is referring to I can't imagine leaving two kids at home while walking away to gamble that is absolutely irresponsibility of the highest order on my own part, I would be worried about their safety as well as the possibility of any of them getting injured while playing outside this is the consequence of being a addicted gambler such a person wouldn't feel consign about anybody whether a close relative or friend they would rather stay focus on their gambling habit, I think gamblers needed to avoid being addicted at all cost to avoid this type of touching story.

Sometimes I wonder why the parents (who are involved in gambling) can be so careless with their children. Keeping too small children alone at home or at the car is too much dangerous but still, they have the confidence of doing so. Are they really ignorant of the consequences of such acts or they do not have time or too much responsibility on their shoulders?

If they want to go out for the gambling (in a physical casino), they may ask any relative to take care of them in that period. This is just one suggestion, as there are a number of to handle these situations and thus not leaving the kids at their home alone in these situations.

I think the authorities should take serious action against such parents, so no one even think of doing this again. Treating them softly will not make much difference and such incidents will increase.

the guy is obviously a loosed addict.  I believe what could possibly make someone go to this extent could be possibly as a reUkt of the person taking alcohol in addition to his gambling that might have made him loose it to the extent of neglecting his primary duty of taking care of his kid to go into gambling. We have to be fair as well, fathers like that have always existed, so it is not as if what we are seeing is some kind of new development at all, as parents abandoning their children forever and not just for a few hours is as old as humanity itself.
