My betting strategies

I know everyone has their own strategy and somehow most people can be using same strategy that I am about to share here.
The strategies includes:

1. Club position: most times the position of a club matters a lot because it tells you whether a club is striving to top the table or whether they are striving to leave relegation zone.

2. Point: This is another strategy i use while betting because it also tells you whether a club can or will loss a match or not,  sometimes a club can be topping a league with 8 -10 point difference and because of this point difference they can decide to play anyhow they want better still reserve players for more important match because whether they loss or win they are still topping the league.
However, a club that has this point difference,  let say they are  expecting a champions league quarter or semi finals, it is very possible that they can loss or draw their league by reserving  players for the upcoming champions league.

3. Head to head: a club head to head (history)  is very important because sometimes it could be that the people topping the league always loss or draw with the people fighting to go out of relegation.  No matter how form the people topping the league is the possibility or chance of losing the match is 80% because of their history that's why sometimes you see a big club always losing to a small club.
 These are mine strategies and there are some i can't remember for now, try this and thank me later.

You should clarify what kind of game you are referring for your strategy. I just realized that probably you are referring to a football club by reading the whole content.

Your strategy is pretty common since that’s exactly the basis of bookmaker to create an odds for their books. You will probably just ended up picking the favorites/small odds on most of your picks with this strategy. I’m not telling that this is a bad idea but rather there’s nothing out of ordinary on your strategy that will make someone here benefit on it.

That's what I thought as well when he has mentioned about clubs. It's the term referred to football unlike the other sports, we use the term teams instead.

I don't even think that they are strategies but what you are saying is like most of their descriptions. So, if this is the strategies you're saying then congrats if they're working for you.

Last 5 matches outcome with other teams in the present season


For goals strategies:
Having good strikers and if they are scoring very well. Over 2.5
Not having good strikers and if they are not scoring. Under 2.5

Sometimes I check prediction sites to see what they select.

I do not bet often but when I do, my strategy is done in such a way that I will be at least sure of a way. I do most of my sports betting in obscure football leagues or cups in Armenia, Croatia, Poland, Asia etc I usually prefer to do half-time/full-time, under/overs, and both teams to score. I have been lucky in these leagues than in well known leagues. And I use less than 10% of my income. I do not bet every other week. At lease 6 times in a week(not fixed).

The teams that lead the points table win most of the time.  However, when a team is only 2-3 points apart, it is very difficult to predict their match, other than that, all other predictions are very easy, so there is no need to adopt other more hard strategies. Everybody is looking at all of these things OP mentioned automatically.
Nobody who is choosing a team to bet on does that because they like their name or whatever, of course they will check the table, important missing players and the h2h history.

What's even more important than these 3 things imo is the recent history.
What good is a top tier position if they lost the last 5 games and the opponent which is below them just won 5 in a row, some of them against good teams.
That's why the recent history is in my eyes the most important thing to check. A "bad" team might just have signed new players that significantly improve their roster. Or some injured players just came back and because of that they had a lot of success recently.

I bet on sport matches but I also prefer casinos games than sport matches. The odds that I do see in bookies looks like scam. I will see odd of more than 3 that are very difficult to achieve unlike in casinos that the probability would be one third. I will also see the odds that are very small like 1.01 that I can not see in casinos. But I think in bookies, the odd is used as their own house edge. I gamble sport matches at times. If I want to do that, I do not use the last 5 matches played by the team that I want to choose to joke at all. It is very important.

I never used no. 3 as basis for my betting strategy. Why? Those matches that happened five years ago are no longer relevant to the current teams.  I can acknowledge that there is rivalry between clubs and there are past records but players are different now. I would rather look at the injury and suspension list instead of head to head.

Sportsbetting is also very risky when you choose high odds. Because surebets have very low odds which will give you a small amount profit return. And if the opposing team luckily wins the match then you lose your entire bet amount. so I agree with you that casino games are more fun and even though the risk is much higher, you can win hundreds of times your bet amount from here. So playing casino games is better if you want to gamble for fun

The three factors that you have listed are important to analysis of a football match no doubt but they are not exclusive to all that pertains to the betting of a football game. Like have you considered a team marked for relegation and their new sign ups including if they are deciding to bring in new coach that is coming from a very good record to come and replace the bad performing coach?

Also, bettors do consider apart from head to head, the injuries of the team which determines their current status of what will happen to the head to head overview most times. This doesn't take away the phycology of the team to the current owner, coach and where there allegiance goes to. However, you have listed those points but there are more that can help in analysing the outcome of football matches.

Using the position of the team and it acquired points to determine the next game of the team might disappoint you though that what you used to play your gamble and win but if I will add one it will be the number not skillful players.in the team. The performance of each players in the team also speak good or bad about the team. Like there are some teams in the AFCON is playing shit. Therefore once those teams came to play you would know that there is nothing good would come out from them. Not all the teams that have high point are good in playing but they got the point as a result of luck. As for me and I have said it before the best way to know a best team is the performance level of the team. How many players are very good in the team. One good Player can't make a good team but five good players can make a good team.

Good points.  When deciding who to put money on, you gotta think about stuff like where the teams place in the standings, if they're playing well lately, and how they've matched up in the past.  That stuff can help clue you in.  But even if you study all that aint no guarantees in betting.  Just ways to get some edge on making smart picks. 

I'd also say to stay on top of news and who's hurt or sitting out and  things change fast and you don't want to bet hard-earned dough without knowing all the latest.  Do the homework before laying the cash down.  Still comes down to some luck though.  Anyone claiming they got a lock is full of it.  Just about increasing your odds, but the ball bounces funny sometimes.

Head to Head is often a consideration, but you also have to consider the current performance of the competing teams. You can see the case of Napoli, last season they appeared fierce by winning Serie A with a very convincing point difference from their competitors. but this season, they are having problems. Head-to-head factors may have to be excluded from your bets regarding this team. Of course, we have to look at the opponent's abilities.
Those who want to bet overall will see all the information you share. but some consider the Odds offered for each bet. Sometimes you see a weak team facing a favorite team. and betting on winning will not be profitable for the gambler. there are other strategies to bet and get better profits.

From what the ops pointed out, he is referring to sport bets and which should either be football or basket ball since he mentioned team analysis, and that is actually what make sport bets very easy and the most played among all bets at some point,  there are some time that even a novice in gambling can easily win a bet because of the ability to follow up woth the team analysis that will at least give him the forecast pf the game and what to expect and if luck be on his side he will win the bet easily.


Also we have to differentiate those patterns from other games pattern such as dice and the rest of the other gambling games.

Sometimes, betting along odd lines based on bookmakers' odds provision it may mislead the gambler into selecting the wrong team because bookmakers are smart enough to act on the gullible mindset of the gambler since they already know that the gamblers always follow that pattern of games.

I think three points are very basic as a strategy in sports betting.
I would like to add a few more that include team conditions [players absent due to injury, international duty, accumulated cards] when the team will compete.
In this team's condition, paying attention to the competition that will be played also has an influence. If the competition is deemed not to be the main focus, the coach often plays second tier players who are rarely included in the starting line up for the main competition.

Another thing that is taken into consideration in my opinion is the goal statistics for each match that has been played to add analysis to how good they are at scoring goals and how strong they are at defending.

Agree with this mate cause we all know that we can not say that One good player in a team is quiet enough to carry his team, he can't do that cause his opponent is very good at all then he can't carry on his own he must need a 4 other teamates in order to compete the strongest team anyways in sports betting we can put our bet into sure team once we know all the lineup and the capabilities if individual players.
