So it wasn’t really a $1 spin but a bonus buy, it just looked like $1 per spin. The bonus buy itself must be pretty expensive if that’s how it breaks down. When I tried Pragmatic, the per-spin value from the bonus buy is usually around 1% of the buy price. If it’s the same here, then it should be around $3 per spin. But I get it, different providers have different setups. Some give smaller per-spin values from bonus buys but offer a much higher max win compared to Pragmatic.

So if you play the game at $1, you would need to pay $100 to get straight to the free spins bonus rounds. Using clasic story, can withdraw but getting limited or banned due the withdraw to show people those site giving airdrop and you have potential getting airdrop even is not full. By visiting the site 10 second already know is a scam and he using those tactics.

Scam may not be moderated by mods here, but as what I know posting phising links is bannable offense. Its similar to posting malwares which is prohibited by mods in this forum.

Also yeah it will be nice to ban him so that he can post same attempt again. If they let him pass for sure that he will repeat the same attacks later on.

So its good that those phising link has been intercepted early and it didn't compromise newbies which visit this thread to read some discussions happening here.

I got curious about the phishing link being discussed here, so I decided to open the ad in my browser, and what I saw was an obvious scam attempt since it immediately asks you to connect your wallet.

For me, that’s already solid evidence. The user should be banned for this kind of violation.

In the past, we had at least an American in the campaign (meaning resident of the US), but I don't think any of the current ones are (maybe I am wrong). However, the advantage I see in having a physical office in Miami is not so much that you can go there in person, because given how big the US is, the probability of player X living near it must be close to zero, but rather being able to call from within the US without having to spend money on an international call.

Maybe the admins decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. If that's his first such offense, they might not be 100% sure that he posted that link with the intention to scam and phish other users. It could be that he saw it somewhere and believed it to be legit because he didn't know better. If he does it again and is reported for spreading malware or phishing links, the consequences could be severe and he might get kicked off the forum.

Given it’s a wrong URL and it’s asking you to connect your wallet, isn’t that already a clear scam attempt?

In case you haven’t seen my post above, you can check the screenshot I took from the fake website itself and judge it.

It could be that he saw it somewhere and believed it to be legit because he didn't know better. If he does it again and is reported for spreading malware or phishing links, the consequences could be severe and he might get kicked off the forum.

If something we post causes users to get scammed because they believed it was legit, shouldn’t we act before it happens instead of waiting for someone to get hit?
