Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I have two favorite coins, SPARTANCOIN  and MAGICOIN. Both have a strong community that works hard for a better future of their currency. The advantage is that it is not a pump and dump currency. With that kind altcoins you see that they have a short life. People who buy just to make money. With SPARTANCOIN and MAGICOIN people are thinking and working to make the coin stable and stronger.

Step by step, these coins will be bigger and stronger.

 Grin
Keep up the good work.

If you have issues with network sync, most likely nodes are not setting up properly.

The following is the "magicoin.conf" file, which should be set up properly in order for network to synchronize.
Place magicoin.conf into folder: %appdata%\magicoin (Windows) or ~/.magicoin (Linux)
(you can also download magicoin.conf from HERE)

Code:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password

rpcallowip=localhost
rpcport=35882
port=35883
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

I saw only one person is in the mining pool, is that you?  Cheesy

Probably yes, if you saw only one worker on pool - it is my rig working to support both pool and magicoin hashrate.

I will invest my hashrate to magicoin in long terms mostly to mine, but not to sell untill good price (5000 is minimum).

ALL, I am working on something new features for Magicoin, and have concern about the way of adding these to the coin. For example, we can make a new block chain, but you have to swap the coins you had, in order to use new wallet. This pretty much likes launching a new coin. Or, we can do a hard fork. Either way, no difference for you, you will always owe the same amount of coins.

Also, advice me what kind of new features you prefer. For example, have you liked the magic way of double block rewards? or we may change block rewards? and importantly, any other algo, etc. something like these.

I am afraid the hardfork could completely disable interest to magicoin at this time. We have only one exchange and few mining pools. After a hardfork we could loose swisscex as exchange and some mining pools. In addition, potential investors will skip magicoin as unstable coin with unpredictable future.

There should be very-very strong reasons to implement hard fork.

The reason I have been concerning this is that script coins are currently going through the tough time. More likely, only a few could survive. With this in mind, change in algo etc would be a necessity. What is your opinion on the coin swap so we basically start from a new coin?

I guess we have a reason to go the way of a new coin.

Yes, i suppose a new coin is preferred. The new coin start could be easy as we have a good community here.

Several days ago a PIG coin relaunched as PIGGY from scrypt to X11 algo. Old PIGs were converted to new PIGGY, all exchanges (including swisscex) have added PIGGY trades and this steps saves PIG/PIGGY community.

Totally agree. In the digital world, there are constant changes.
For Magicoin it is good to go into the changes and improvements.
Good communication and information is hereby called crusiaal.
