If the man wants to help with his wife's medical expenses he should have given her wife's account, but it seems the man has a hidden agenda and declined to give her wife's account, the man can be considered an irresponsible husband because he declined to giver her account so the man can proceed to donate, the donor is right in not donating the money in the husband account.
The husband's motive is pretty obvious he will use the money on other things and not on his wife's medical expenses, people who are addicted to gambling only care about their addiction and not for the welfare of their family.

Well, things with this case can be seen from two perspectives and one of the things could be because he actually has his wife's bank account compromised for games, casinos, sports betting, it could be that, or also not everything can be negative, It could be possible that things are different, it could be because the husband wants to assume the expenses and not touch his wife's money, sometimes we do not see things from the other point of view, we cannot judge anyone by What we don't know, everyone manages their life, their things, we don't know what the truth is.

What many think is bad, and it is something that should not be done all the time, I know that here in the forum they can always think about the bad and they do not get rid of it, but I believe that in the world there are also people who make sacrifices so that another person feels good and better, in a terminal illness because people become sensitive and can make these gestures.

This not usual thing that happens even with everyone who are addicted to something, only few people who prioritise their own needs than anything even if it's very important. I knew a son who drunken for the funeral of his father that's the most cruel thing that I ever watched but never know how is it possible for someone to gamble with the money that is offered as charity for your loved ones treatment.

Even though I am not convinced too about the authenticity of this story,  these things actually do happen.  Gambling Addicts (not just limited to gambling addicts) can do anything just to satisfy their urge. I have seen a similar situation where a particular man goes round begging for money to buy food or foot one bill or the other.  We only found out that majority of the money he begs goes to smoking and gambling. Sometimes it is difficult for people to really tell when an addict is telling the truth and it makes it difficult for people to render financial help to them. The best way to help is by doing a physical inspection to be sure their pleas are genuine.

Gambling addiction is real, it destroys good plans and achievements until the victim screams for help. People really have to be careful not to gamble to the point they can nolonger resist the urge  to gamble.

I have seen so many cases that people do for money, that this Makes me remember that things are very drastic, in a viral video, I saw that a Person got on a bus to ask for money, with a piece of paper it said that he was a thug , The very intelligent bus driver honked the horn very loudly after he got off, and the "zordo" got scared and jumped, so I don't understand this kind of thing, why do people play with something they shouldn't do? Because it is something delicate, I will never agree that they pretend to be disabled people or something like that, because at Some point things have to come to light and it is not a Good Idea , because you should not Take Advantage of the Things that Others Suffer.

In this order of ideas, things have to be given by their true Flow and Direction , it is not Advisable to start Inventing Something that is not, or Pretend to be Someone that is not, this is what happens with people who are in a position to the street, they don't Walk , But when they don't get a good Scare, they run away, it's incredible how humanity goes just to earn money without working.

On the time that  you are really that addicted with gambling on which it do comes into a severe manner then you would really be ending up on having these kind of possible actions that you would be making. It doesnt look good or ethical but those addicts would definitely be making out those kind of actions even if it means that they are pretending that there are some health emergencies or some sort which i cant really be able to bare with having that kind of reasoning just to make yourself being satisfied with your leisure needs. Trying out to fool someone about emergencies on which you do beleive
that you could be able to get some funding so easily? People would really be always be wise and skeptical when it comes to this manner.

Not to make those direct conclusions about people around but we do know that giving out some support into something legit and not really just that trying to fuel up someones addiction.

Gambling addiction has been a common problem in our society. It has caused many problems in a person's life, such as money losses, or issues with family and friends, etc. It's important to support and help people with gambling addiction to overcome it. We should all always be open and not afraid to ask help or give help they need and live better lives.

Gamblers that are addicted have inching fingers to use up any money with them especially when they are losing. maybe because his wife already knew beforehand that her husband often gambled on gambling and when he needed money, he used the money he had to gamble in the hope of doubling the money he had to cover his desired needs.
for me, there are several categories for a gambling addict, between addicts who always depend or always hope that when they need money they will run to the casino to double their money and gambling addicts who continue to gamble without clarity as they only follow their dopamine lust.
well, from here we already know that it's not just addiction that looks bad but hoping or depending on gambling is very bad because it triggers a worse addiction when everything seems to fail, such as a gambling addict who needs money to pay for his wife's medical expenses but only have a small amount and use it for betting in the hope of winning big and being able to pay the hospital bill.

I didn't encounter anyone who did that personally but via media heard such kind of news but we never knew the complete story of it so I don't make any comment regarding that but if that what really happened then I consider it's most inhumane thing to do by someone and there is no forgiveness for such individuals who commits such mistakes even though they really know what is the possible outcome.

Every gambler must of course carry out full supervision of themselves and if they gamble continuously of course they will become addicted to gambling and to be able to get rid of addiction to gambling of course we have to make these rules and have to obey them, because if we cannot get rid of the addiction By gambling, we will have bigger problems in our lives.

If we are sure that we will be able to get rid of the gambling addiction, it would be better if we don't repeat it again, which will cause us to suffer huge losses in terms of our finances and it is possible that we will experience worse things than that if we are still gambling addicts.

As much as I like to follow the sage's wisdom of being kind no matter what happens, there should be a limit to the kindness that you're giving to a person that has a problem and that they're abusing your kindness to fuel what addiction they have, it's not logical or wise at that point to ever help someone if the help that you're giving to them isn't appreciated and only furthers their addiction. The wrong thing that the philanthropist did here is not that he helped but that he didn't put in a bit more effort into follow up and being stern about the help and that it should went to where it should went. Totally agree on that extra miles though, that's what addiction does to you, you try your best to find ways to enable and maintain/sustain your addictions, that's why they get desperate and lead to do a life of crime because they're losing all the options on how to suffice that addiction.
