What does BTC mean to you?

Some may say freedom others  say hope in a world of restriction, love to hear your responses.

For me bitcoin meant, especially, asking myself many questions about how money and the financial world work. There are many things that are in front of our eyes every single day but we are too busy, or maybe we simply don't understand, to wonder why they are the way they are. The more I was searching info about bitcoin, the more I was asking myself more and more questions and then you start realizing how to escape the rat race. And the best thing is that this kind of knowledge can be passed on your family.

For now, bitcoin is my biggest source of income. Well, not actually bitcoin but the forum itself, but I also see to it that I never fail on accumulating and storing bitcoin on my portfolio as I believe that bitcoin’s value in the future will become huge and massive that makes it an ideal retirement for everyone. Bitcoin is risky and quite complicated and complex, but if you have the high motivation to engage with bitcoin, you will do everything just to make it happen so you won’t keep regretting in the end.

To me Bitcoin mean a long term Investment strategy which has a positive volatility over time. And it is the best investment for retirement. I also see bitcoin as an investment strategy that help you save money freely without having a thought that It will affect you in future. Just like other assets that have no volatility and may end up being a liability.

I have assumed that Bitcoin will not be the same as other crypto assets and other investment assets, even though Bitcoin itself can also be used as a long-term investment for the future of everyone who is convinced of the goodness of Bitcoin that can be felt by each of them. Because when someone starts to believe in investing their money by buying Bitcoin at any time, including retirement, someone must also have other money that can prevent them from releasing the Bitcoin they invested at that time when there is an emergency situation that they must resolve immediately.

Bitcoin entails a lot,its not just about freedom but bitcoin is a cryptocurrency,and a decentralized one at that,Launched in 2009, Bitcoin is the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.Bitcoin is a digital currency which operates free of any central control or the oversight of banks or governments.It also serves as a means of payment amongst traders and vendors who are into business.
 Bitcoin as well has improved the world in finance and even financial technology,The journey of Bitcoin continues to encourage transactions transparency and shape the future of finance and technology.
But despite all these,bitcoin is very conplex and one needs to be in the right frame of mind to go into it.Someone needs the understanding,the right information and indulgence for it.

To my personal and on a higher level, BTC is a pure borderless security and store of value.

Of course a lot others have their definition of the technology which we could all agree that its driven hugely by their perception of the technology as well as how they have utilized it.

Yeah, I guess some folks have found freedom from oppressive governments or other restrictions before.  But for most of us here nowadays, it's more about financial freedom.  That's what bitcoin's given me anyway.

Sure, I got into crypto later than a lot of people.  And no, I don't have one of them Lambos or anything.  But I'll tell you what - finally being able to pay off some debts and sleep better at night? That's my little taste of freedom.  Bitcoin did that for me.  It gave me hope during some real tough times these past few years.  And Ill always be grateful for that.

For me, it's an investment to a better future for myself and probably to the family that I will build in that future. Bitcoin has been a big help to me ever since and if it wasn't for bitcoin, I would still probably be wondering how will I ever afford the things that I only look at the front of the store, with bitcoin and the profit that it's provided, I'm able to buy those stuff whenever I wish to buy and I don't worry about the spending because I know that I can just reinvest through DCA and at the long run, I would be making more profit than what I've spent throughout the hodling journey, it's safe to say for me that bitcoin changed my life, I don't know if it's for the better or for the worse but from what I'm looking at, I think it changed me for the better.

Well for me it was mostly helpful.
During the pandemic I was stuck in Taiwan for a long time.
At some point my credit card expired and the only way to receive and send money was crypto, and that went on for quite a while.
Thankfully in Taiwan, unlike in Japan, there have been plenty of btc atms where you could buy and occasionally also sell btc.
Sure the fees have been quite bad but since I had no other choice it was better than nothing.
I also did some p2p deals there but it wasn't easy to find people to trade with.

Without btc and crypto in general the whole situation would have been much more complicated and also expensive for me. Of course I could also use a service like western union or whatever but then you always depends on other people and opening times.

With btc I could be paid in crypto and convert it into cash without a lot of hassle.

Bitcoin also gives me the freedom to send money anytime and anywhere without any restrictions on working hours and can receive money easily and quickly via the internet network, the process of exchanging it to fiat money is very easy and fast. Of course Bitcoin has a very interesting side, that's the reason most people really want to have Bitcoin in their Wallet, all the advantages and conveniences that Bitcoin offers make it even more popular. When compared with traditional online payment mechanisms and mechanisms operated by decentralized authorities, Bitcoin is superior to fiat money.

I love this and I love to always read positive things about Bitcoin, and truly, it deserves it. Bitcoin is not like other assets, the investment brought by it is very cool, and when one knows how to speculate its behaviour and act wisely, success will surely be made. And sure, Bitcoin is risky, many have lost through it despite its promising nature but it all depends on our knowledge about it. We can't just believe that everything about Bitcoin which is an electronic means to invest and make money will be easy and cheap, that is never possible. There are times that it might look so cheap but most times, you can be frustrated if care is not taken. This is especially the time that FUD is in the market.

Overall, Bitcoin is one of the best investments I've known, it is so easy and if one could know how to speculate it very well and also manage his portfolio cleverly, it will always be the means to earn easy money for the person.

To me Bitcoin means a lot, although I have not profited from Bitcoin but my reason of coming here is to gather a good knowledge about Bitcoin so that when I start investing on Bitcoin I will understand the ups and downs that's associated on Bitcoin, so perhaps Bitcoin is the only assets I wish to invest because I have a strong feeling that it will worth investing on.

Well, for me bitcoin is an alternative payment as well as an investment. However, this is different from other types of investment, because I feel that this is an investment that has great potential to increase the assets we own in a faster time than other investments. Apart from that, bitcoin is also different from altcoins, because the level of trust in bitcoin is much higher than other altcoins. However, I feel that this is a technology that can change a person's life for the better if utilized properly, or vice versa.

Initially BTC for me was something that I could not have easily because every year its development was increasing, especially in the year where it ended its decline and that's what I felt in the bull market... although in the bear market I saw it was still high (for me) and it was impossible to have just 1 coin, even so let it pass they say there are still many roads to Rome.
And for me never give up on pursuing what I want, maybe at this time I don't have it yet but I'm sure with strong ability and determination I will get the results that are worth it.
There are many inspirations out there that teach me (indirectly) I see many successful people who start from a word MUSTAHIL and end up in a beautiful reality. And now I believe in my ability to pursue it.

Bitcoin means a lot to me. But I couldn't buy them at right time. now it is very expensive. let see in future I would buy some bitcoin and gain financial freedom through it.

yeah. thats the feeling of almost everyone here. except for those OG Bitcoiners who got in early, believed at that and kept HODLing until now. rest everyone is full of regrets. but I don't think we should be wasting our time regretting about missing out bitcoin early.
You can still buy bitcoin as much as you can afford and will eventually store enough bitcoin for future.
Try Implementing DCA method in your investment. that works very well for people like you.

Hi everyone,

I would love to share my thoughts on this. My views are influenced by Saifedean Ammous book's The  Bitcoin Standart, that I just finished recently.

To me, Bitcoin represent a door to economic freedom, where it is possible to accumulate wealth and transfer it to the next generation.
It represent a passive way to stand up against government and to say : ''You cant steal from anymore. You cant devalue my savings anymore. You cant make of me a slave anymore''.
Bitcoin, in some ways, represent a set of values that is useful to any person who aspire to be a good person in life : it is honnest, disciplined, transparent, uncorruptible and peaceful.
Also, I see Bitcoin as the People's money - there is no chef, no elite or privilege group - accessible for everyone and is free to be used, or not, as people decide.

Finally, to me, Bitcoin represent a powerful ideology that can help people to finally open their eyes, see things they never dare to look at, be critical thinker about it, and take action.

Yes. The price of BTC can vary dramatically. But that's the beauty of it and what is certain is that BTC will quickly grow and develop. But from what we have noticed, there are still many banks in several places that are still unfriendly towards Bitcoin transactions, but I think this will fade over time.

I see making money by investing in BTC is not too complicated as long as you are patient and wait it will be a good investment pattern and maybe even aggressive if the results are long term as well as bringing convenience to trading of course.

Bitcoin is changing the way money works. Speculating is fun and rewarding when you expect to make a lot of money. The intellectual task of navigating its rough waters is, of course, something I enjoy.

Making well-informed choices is very important. People who have lost money on Bitcoin show that it has two sides. Its important to have a deep knowledge of how markets work. If you want to be successful at Bitcoin trading, you need to know what you're doing, be patient, and plan ahead strategically. Real risks and rewards.

When people support Bitcoin, they should also recognize how complicated it is, not just its wins. Market changes caused by fear need resilience. I do best when I take an eager but skeptical approach.

In my case it's freedom. Freedom to do what I want with my money.
I want to gamble - fine. I want to take it with me to another country when I travel - fine. I don't want the government to know how much money I have -fine. I want someone to inherit my money without having to pay anything to the government (which IMO they shouldn't because it's my money and I want them to have it, not anybody else) -fine again.
The deal is, I worked hard for my money and I want to spend it the way I decide to. I don't need anybody telling me what I can or cannot do with the wealth nobody helped me to earn.

You are right, that is definitely something that would be very good to know and very good to do. I understand that it may take some time but that is what we should be approaching it with and I think it ends up with something better. I get that we are not going to end up with a good chunk of profit all that easily, but we are going to be free to do whatever we want and that is the power of bitcoin. It has allowed me to build the life I want to build, and this really made everything better for me.

There are of course some situations where you are still not allowed to do, and there are still some risks because of it but at the end of the day we are talking about something that would benefit everyone all the same in the end.
