Any mistake we make that doesn't have any significant negative effect in our lives is not to be considered as a mistake, mistakes are meant to affect us negatively in one way or the other, and to varying degrees, this is what makes it a mistake, without it negatively having any effect on us, then that simply is not a mistake but something that just happened.

Imagine wanting to bet for team A but someone talked you into betting for team B, and later on, team A wins the match, you are going to feel bad for you made the mistake of not following your heart, but Listing to someone else's opinion over yours, and this could happen vise versa.

But on the other hand, imagine you wanted to bet on team A but some one asked you to bet on team B, and you ended up betting for team B, and later on, the game ended in a draw, you won't feel bad, or not supposed to feel bad because there is no mistake made, for even if you had betted on team A, you would have still lost.
