I taught it was locked by the Op (you) after getting all the replies and arguments you need, but if it’s not you and moderators locking the topic, then there should be a reason for that, either the thread is being spammed on or other reasons I can’t think of.

But by the way, why is the thread on Meta instead of the bitcoin discussion?

Topics are locked by moderators if they know that there is no useful information that can be given again as some people have provided the information or has given the answers needed for the topic.

If you are not satisfied and you have a good reason for a topic to be unlocked, you can PM the moderator to unlock the topic but not this kind of topics of yours.

Why shouldn't the topic be locked when you're referring to what is irrelevant for discussion, are you trying to make another troll to constitute what craig wright had started or you're just interested in spamming the forum, it's obvious that your thread would have received a lot of reports to the moderator before being locked, you should be thankful it was not deleted or moved to the off topic section.

I guess wait for moderators to inspect the issue? If you didn't lock the topic yourself, then it is highly likely some staff member did it. Especially if there is no option for you to "unlock" the topic, in which case that means that the topic is archived and not just locked, and I think can be done only by a global moderator or administrator.

If a topic is useless, non sense and heaven for spam, it will be locked by moderator.

If that topic is worse than non sense, it will be moved to off-topic or even deleted.

Your topic was locked but was not moved to off-topic or Trash bin, means that moderator thought that there are enough answers in that topic and it should be locked.

The OP is another one of those who convinced themselves that they did something without which even Bitcoin would not exist - so if they already claim that they participated in the creation of this forum, why don't they follow the rules of that same forum?

Oh... LoL. @OP, I saw that topic the day it was created but ignored it because there was really no educational knowledge the topic can add to the forum, I also ignored because I assumed it will be deleted but I guess you were even lucky that the topic was not deleted. In the past, some few members too have always raise same imagination while they know that in reality they can not become Satoshi, so why imagine it when it's 100% not going to be possible?

Bullying? I was probably like you in the past, arguing a lot and feeling pressured by famous members on forums. But after I went back to reading my posts in the past, I thought about how stupid I was in the past.

That's good advice, give an example like Satoshi who is quiet and humble, but it seems like you are not quiet and humble enough. Yes, I know sometimes giving advice is easier than applying it to yourself

I still remember, it seems LoyceV dah The Skeptical Chymist gave me advice to have a thick skin on the forum. Maybe you can try like that, but if you still want to argue and question your freedom in the forum, no one is stopping you, you can speak up and let go of everything that's on your mind, and I want to see what great thoughts are in your head.  I don't see how your posts won't be locked when they have little to nothing to offer other than you contradicting yourself? We've seen Satoshi wannabes getting exhausted with trying to keep up the character and later moving on to something else and I don't think it's late for you too. Making a big deal out of a thread that was locked for obvious reasons just shows you want attention your way so bad as if the thread in question did not get you that enough.

I took my time to browse through your opened threads and I discovered that only a few of them were closed and they were the ones with Satoshi Nakamoto. I think it is because such threads are not so weighty with the way you constructed them, and this is coupled with the fact that similar threads had been opened in the past. I mean lots of them.

You should know that the forum moderation has standards that ordinary users like us will not know. The fact that the moderator didn't delete it but only locked it means that it is still appropriate but just too much in the forum. That's my opinion by the way.

You are an idiot (imho)! Forum rules do not allow idiocy, such as spamming and trolling. Moderators have the right to delete posts, lock the topic or even ban members who do not respect the rules of the forum. Of course, you're always welcome to engage in constructive discussions and share your thoughts on any topic. That's what freedom of speech is all about!

Yes!!  Justice prevails on bitcointalk!  But seriously, I haven't noticed any threads getting locked by the mods for being idiotic as of late, though that could be because the creators of those turds don't make a big stink about it like OP is here.  It's nice to see mods taking some action by actually locking unnecessary threads, and I give 'em props for doing so.

He is already doing that from the look of things here, look at the way the first thread ended being locked, here, he's on it once again, things like this sucks honestly, this is not a section to be accommodating twat posts like this, i don't think this guy is ready to change or willing to take in on every advise already giving him from these thread, the more he continues the likely he becomes closer to getting tags, more deleted posts, locked threads and even ban as the case may worsen if he goes against the rules.

I don't see an issue with having debates or talks if you have solid arguments and stuff to talk about.  This is a discussion platform, after all.

However, making claims like "I'm Satoshi" or "I made this forum" without offering any proof or rationale makes it seem you havent thought stuff through and just makes you look stupid.

I do like to write code though and that's why I'm back on the forums.  It's a strange feeling to revisit the past.  Aloha everyday
