I think that many players simply do not want to see the exact amount they lost, although for me I am not afraid to look at it. I like accuracy in things and work, as well as gambling, I can look at all those indicators that interest me most.

They do not want to face the truth because many of them know that they are not in profits but losses. For people gambling for fun, they will claim that they do not want to keep records so it does not stop them from having fun when they find out how much they are losing to gambling but people do not want to hear the truth. This is something I wish I was better at doing, but I don’t ever let myself gamble so much that I really need to keep close track of it.  I do know that every NFL season I bet a few thousand worth of btc over the course of the year and typically end up 500-1k ahead. ]We can say this: if a player plays for fun and spends his money within acceptable limits, then any calculations and statistics, at best, can help to slightly increase the playing time itself.  But in my opinion, using some kind of strategy and strictly following it makes this extension of game time even better than analyzing statistics.  But if the thought has arisen in the player’s head that he must win back and compensate for his losses, then everything generally goes into disarray and into complete chaos in the game, which inevitably has a negative result for such a player and only brings him even more negative experiences.  The most important thing here is self-control and the ability to stop the game on time, and not when it’s too late and you’ve lost everything.

Keeping track records of one's gambling activities is important in the sense that it will enable one to compare and contrast between the losing rate and the winning rate as that is what will guide them to know if they gonna consider cutting down the amount they spend on gambling or to continue with the amount they normally play with.
