cannot convert my ltc to usdt

I have around 2 dollars in ltc in mexc exchange and I cannot convert my ltc to usdt because minimum is 5 dollars...

Of course, most cryptocurrency exchanges have coin conversion, the balance of which is low for trading. But if there is no such conversion on your exchange, then the easiest way to sell LTC in the situation you described is that you first need to make a purchase for $5 LTC, and then sell all the LTC available in your account for $7.

I think there's nothing you can do with your $2 on that exchange, that's a pretty small amount, and all your balance might eaten by the fees which commonly all exchanges have this limit of withdrawing amount or even transactions.

I didn't use Mexc exchange but if you have this option much better.
Just leave it there and wait until you can reach the limit.  For now, there's nothing you can do just leave it there.

There are some exchanges where minimum amount of money is fixed for trading. That is, you cannot buy or sell any coins below the minimum amount that is fixed. I am a Binance exchange user and as far as I know no coins can be bought and sold below $7 minimum on this exchange. The exchange you mentioned may have some rules that prevent you from converting your minimum amount of Litecoin to USD. In this case, the solution for you may be that you deposit some more amount of USD in your exchange account and after depositing, you can convert Litecoin to any currency as you wish. I hope you can do it easily.

The limit with exchanges varies, I was checking it a time ago when I was idle...lol. But I know that it is subject to changes over time which is why I can't ascertain anything now. LTC is not a coin that should have too high limit, for this, I would have advised you to try other exchanges, but the issue is that the $2 you want to change is way too small, you may never see the exchange that will change that for you.

Mind you, despite being that small, you can't still get the whole amount after the exchange. Exchanges will charge you for the rate, they don't call it a fee, but it is there. So, my advice for you is to leave this money there and let it continue to grow since it is crypto we are talking about, you can be sure to see the price above x3 in months.

After all, this is a small amount that you can do without, just leave it there and act as if it never existed. Then, when you eventually need it in the future, you can add more funds to be able to withdraw your money.

Although exchanges have different trade and withdrawal limits, and you might find one whose low limit allows you to do the conversion, I'm afraid it remains pointless. In the first place, it's below the withdrawal limit. And even if you're allowed to withdraw such amount, what you will get in another exchange would be less than $2. And then it would get even smaller once you do the conversion, and even smaller once you withdraw it once more into your own wallet, or convert it into your fiat.
