Realistically, though, being able to control our emotions and feelings in gambling would not help much to exit the casino with earnings. In my opinion, the management of emotions and feelings while gambling is part of the assessment of risk and the way we are supposed to manage our money. For instance, we could have a losing streak while playing dices in a casino and we are -50$ compared with the money we entered earlier. You don't go into gambling expecting to make bank from this activity. I understand that it can happen, but it's just not the right mindset in my own personal view. And even if you keep playing, it's not realistic at all to expect to keep winning all the time.

Even if it's just sports betting, playing poker or plain old luck based gambling... Chances are, you'll be a loser sometime.
But it must also be pointed out that at least to some extent OP is right. As overt emotion doesn't help do almost anything with the right mindset. You can be able to control your emotions very well and still not be able to win when gambling and this is as gambling isn't an activity that you can do everytime and expect the same results. Gambling is a game of luck therefore the more lucky you're, the more you're going to be winning when gambling. Having control of your emotions is a good thing as it'll make you not to get out of control and make wrong decisions that'll make you not have a good chances of winning.

This is very true and applies to many areas of life in general. Those who are erratic and cannot think clearly are destined to respond in strange, often damaging, ways to the world around them. Take someone who gets irrationally angry after they lose - they are liable to waste more money while they have a clouded mind and being angry doesn't benefit them in any way, plus they can sometimes take things too far and even become violent with much bigger consequences. 98% i should say on which majority would really be that emotional when it comes to gambling because no one really likes on losing money and this is the primary thing that you would be able to experience these things once you do gamble. This is why it would really be that best that you should be wary about the risks involved. Gamblers are naturally greedy and just like on what others been saying that when it comes gambling then no one likes on losing money and on the time that you would really be able to lose money then you would really be having that kind of reaction.

Even while gambling with emotions, they might still get lucky to win a few games, but if they keep on chasing losses, that's what can cause them to lose every dollar they had.

There is no difference between being emotional and being too emotional while gambling. Even if a person is emotional at the beginning of their gambling experience, it can still have an impact on how they usually play. If they become too emotional, it can only make things worse. Being emotional might help you win if you are lucky, but luck is not always on your side. Therefore, you cannot rely on being lucky whether you are emotional or not.
