I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

That's 250k in the guy's local currency, it is huge it's a one-year earning of a minimum wage earner in that country and he lost that amount in just 2 minutes that's frustrating and by smashing the keyboard we can assume that he is frustrated and he cannot take his losses, I don't know the guy but when you're betting a huge amount of money you have to realize the two scenarios that could happen, he only think of winning so his reaction is something surprising and anger him.
The guy has 8 million followers if I am one of his followers I would unfollow him because he is a bad example of a guy who wastes money easily.

Everyone is prone to losing anyway. But I believe that's not all he got so at least, he'd be able to recover with it somehow. It just sounds like a huge money on our end and that thing is normal especially if you don't usually bet amounts of such. But going back with the point, al of us here experienced and are experiencing loss from time to time in gambling. Bottomline is one's risk appetite; if you lost an amount larger than yiur monthly income then for sure that would hurt for a long period of time. And in his case, assuming that he wagered that amount as his extra money, he'd be fine eventually. He might even get back with that amount from monetization given that the video itself gained views. Much of an influencer scheme. But I hope he's doing good still. And that single clip should be a warning to those players who plans to bet big.

Well yes, especially on my fresh start. I was being too hasty with my decisions because I jad a belief that gambling could make me rich in no time. Realization came when I lost more than half of my savings from chasing the loss. That was really a sad moment for me and no one will like having feelings of regret right? Fortunately I managed to accept things and learned how to control my emotions and bankroll as well, whenever I am betting.

This video is proof of how quickly people get into debt after gambling. The man in the video was very greedy due to which he bet a huge amount of money at once in a gambling game as a result of which he lost the game. The social media video link you posted was on 16th February where he lost money like 250K in his native currency which is a lot of money for a man. But there is another video of him that he released on February 13 in which he breaks his headphones in frustration after losing.

Not all riches are careless or flamboyant spenders. So invariably, the guy regreted it all because it was such an amount he could not afford to loose for gambling and not that he can't afford to spend it on other things. So the aspirations should be that if the rich could have a broken emotions at their looses in the gambling so then the average one should be inspired to gamble with all conciousness because a rich man that looses his stakes would only feel emotional broken to had lost the game and not basically the fund lost because it can be that they have more than enough in their Bank account which an average man could be taken a long while before recovery their lost

Yes, I have regreted several times of my losts while gambling due to the fact that I lost huge amount of money but not that I can't afford to loose it. And if in any way I goes weird mood While gambling, it just means I just have lost a treasury amount of money.

the video you included is no longer available. but coming to that, $4k is a lot of money and losing it so quickly in just 2 minutes is something that many people don't want. but maybe because he is a famous influencer, the loss may not have a significant impact because he earns quite a lot from streaming, but from his reaction it shows that it hit him quite hard.

maybe for some viewers this is entertainment for them, but it is not wise to show something like that to viewers because it shows irresponsible gambling behavior.

Was the money he used his own money or sponsored by the casino? if it was his own money there would be a lot of regrets, but if it was money from the casino he was promoting then it wouldn't be a problem.

Of course I have experienced big losses in my gambling journey, but because I am a small gambler then losing just $300 in my opinion is huge and it is the biggest amount of loss I have experienced in one gambling session. If you ask me whether I regret it or not? Of course I regret it but that is part of the risk of gambling.

Not with $4,000 but i had lost $1k in the past and the feeling is terrible, chasing the loss is a bad move that no one should do.

This might be a big sum but it is nothing compared to what other celebrities lose in gambling. His reaction also showed that he gambled more than he could afford to lose because he began destroying his keyboard after the loss. These days I don't believe most of the things I watch on social media because many of them are staged to gain attention or to get financial benefits. This video has attracted almost 66k views and we all know what that means. I am not comfortable seeing influencers put things like this on social media because many children see them as role models and this could promote underaged gambling.

We all understand that gambling is a highrisk activity, and the possibility of losing is always higher than the possibility of winning.

It's the same old story about how gambling can be an enjoyable recreational activity, but it's important to play responsibly. It's also really ironic that these things still exist and people are still being reminded of their mistakes while gambling. Actually, I don't lose emotions and money through gambling, but I can understand the influence of gambling on players, the loss of control making wrong decisions and being forced to suffer the consequences of it.

I lost $25 in more than 2 minutes I regret my bet but not really that kind of reaction, that keyboard has nothing to do with his loss.

Is this guy a gambling influencer or just a random influencer? If he promotes gambling or gaming, I'd suspect he used "fake" money as per the contract with the casino he promotes. I wouldn't be surprised if an influencer lost more than $40,000 or even $400,000 in one session as it's just imaginary money.

I think it wouldn't be surprising if he lost a lot of money in just 2 minutes because it could be that he could even earn more than that amount of money in just a short time because of his fame , I think, what we should regret is the people who lost so much money but in fact their income is very small and could even be said to be poor, but somehow they dare to gamble and spend a lot of time just to chase your dreams which will not necessarily come true, according to surveys there is a tendency to gamble that is actually greater in the category of people who have middle class and poor people compared to rich people so far, the many life problems they face have become a reason for middle class and poor people to seek entertainment with gambling and funny in the thing is that often these people spend a lot of money from debt.
Honestly, I will not be sad or sympathize with the losses experienced by rich people, artists, influencers and entrepreneurs because they don't really care about losing money while they can get pleasure or channel their addiction and more importantly of course they won't hard to earn more money than they lost in the near future.

Well, even when someone who is not very rich stakes a small amount of money on a game and perhaps loses the bet, they will definitely feel bad or show some anger expression. I have not seen anyone who is happy anytime they are losing money, because people will feel bad if they are losing their money, either through gambling or through any means. There are some situations in which, even if it's $1 you lost, you may feel bad, but not really bad, depending on the amount that was lost.

Years ago, when I was still dependent on my guidance, I lost $10 to gambling, and I also lost small amounts on different occasions, which did not really make me happy. Even if a gambler is gambling for fun, losing doesn't make a gambler happy. I have seen most of these things happening countless times(one destroying their stuff), all because they lose a huge sum of money in a seat on gambling.

The reason for all this frustration coming from people is mostly because when people place their expectations high on gambling to win. Anything that happens during their time of gambling, whether win or loss will trigger their emotions to react immediately. And It doesn't matter if they are rich or not, once they have lost more than they ever anticipated, they feel frustrated and start destroying anything within their reach.

Once they are done destroying things around them, their eyes will clear and they will start regretting their action of ever destroying their properties all because of gambling losses. After the deeds have been done, they start thinking on their own of ''betting with less money at first or taking a walk when they have lost huge''. It would have been much better than reacting badly

I can't help but think whether that guy has a contract with the casino he is using or not, I mean, it's been known that influencers who stream their gambling activity usually use "fake money" to gamble on the gambling site to attract people to try out their gambling site.

in other countries maybe it is not a big amount, but in the Philippines, it is a huge amount(which is where the influencer is from).

$4000 dollars is a large amount but it is not world-ending. But either way, whether they win or lose, I do not trust these "influencers" to actually not have planned for such an eventuality. I think the person in question probably earns more than enough money to lose $4k and still come out dry on the other side. Who knows, he may have planned it all out in order to gather more followers through this "shocking news". And it seems to be working. People are sharing his channel. This very thread is proof of that.

Everything influencers do should be considered pre-planned and inauthentic.
