Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?
The best to gambling is to risk the amount of money that you can afford to lose. If you use more than that, that means you are not a responsible gambler. So the gambler should take the blame.

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?
I have used $1000 to gamble at once before and lost all. I have lost $2500 within few weeks before. Addiction in gambling is not good at all. Greed is the cause of it with the hope of using gambling to make money.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

Video link: https://www.facebook.com/100063918190580/videos/1064447011428446/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

It's called gambling for a reason, imagine if it was the other way round, given the amount of money he staked, he would have gotten huge amount of money if the predicted went the way he had predicted.
However, 4,000 dollars was just too much for him to have lost in just 2 minutes, for an influencer of his status, it might not be too much of a loss but it's something significant. This is gambling, and you should learn how to manage your losses, what makes you a professional is your risk management abilities, losing such amount in two minutes show's your not careful with your risk management.

You called her an influencer, this amount of money is often not a big deal for them, and little time she will recover it back. That's gambling for you.

Gambling results come in two ways, it's either you win or you lose. It could be the house who would lose when you win, so when you now lose and the house wins, you should not cry foul. Also, as an adult, you should know what you are signing up for before you open that gambling platform to play or visit the gambling house, no one should regret it heavily when they lose, they should just take heart. I can't belieev that any of them (rich, average or poor) can still be gambling with the money they can't afford to lose, that's pathetic if that's the case.

You can't ever gamble with the money that means so much to you and not be in so much pain because of it. But you still have to calm down. Fine, the outcome could be disappointing but you should have known what you signed in for and prepared for the outcome even before you played. You also have to know that it is not about the rich or the poor, it's all about how that money is dear to you. That is how much it will pain you when you lose it.

I've always been a cautious person who has taken gambling as what it is. This makes me engage it carefully and managerially. I bet with the money that means not much to me to avoid being hurt as we see in the video.

This video is proof of how quickly people get into debt after gambling. The man in the video was very greedy due to which he bet a huge amount of money at once in a gambling game as a result of which he lost the game. The social media video link you posted was on 16th February where he lost money like 250K in his native currency which is a lot of money for a man. But there is another video of him that he released on February 13 in which he breaks his headphones in frustration after losing.
I get the idea but isn't it exaggerated if debt would be already assumed in the scenario? There are other people betting more than what the streamer have lost, for example is drake with his sports predictions. Debt is a choice, right? Debt in gambling is for sure a product of frustration but not all people are considering it as an option. To be frustrated and to feel regrets after losing, no matter how big or small the amount, is something natural. It would be more odd if you'd be happy losing your bet but kidding aside, he won't air it live, in the first place if he has no other motive since he has no assurance of the outcome. I do agree with others that it is solely to generate views and the money he lost is just a 'tool' towards what he really aims on that video. I'll just take it as a lesson even if I am not the one who lost. I won't wish to lose that big for sure.

he quickly turned into a full supersayan gambler. why did he even try wagering that huge if he couldn't handle losing the amount?
$4000 can buy a lot in our country but being a streamer he must have been impressing his viewers by betting huge amounts and bragging about his wins.

i wouldn't be betting that much even if i am rich but yes i have regretted lots of my bets even just today last weekend i lost a few dollars i still regret even when its just a small amount. the best part of having some regrets is that you get to look forward to trying out a new strategy to win.

Losing at gambling sucks, and let's be honest, we've all been there (some of us more than others, ahem). While your friend might be chillin' financially, let's not call these big bets "normal," especially for folks watching who might not understand the risk. Saying it's okay can be dangerous, like telling someone spicy ramen is a good idea without mentioning the heartburn later.

Counting on YouTube views to cover the loss is another gamble itself. Not every video goes viral, and ad revenue is like the weather – unpredictable. This influencer thing shouldn't distract from the real risk of throwing down big bucks.

The good news? You learned the hard way about chasing losses and letting emotions control your bets. Sharing your story, the real and raw version, can be a powerful lesson for anyone thinking about gambling. Don't sugarcoat it – show the consequences!

Losing at gambling sucks, and let's be honest, we've all been there (some of us more than others, ahem).
Losing while gambling is inevitable and that would happen. Gambling is a high chance game of losses than profit. He tried with so much big amount and he lost. If he is able to afford to lose it, that is fine. Someone that lost today may win tomorrow. But we need to have a good strategy not to lose in a way that will affect us.

Counting on YouTube views to cover the loss is another gamble itself. Not every video goes viral, and ad revenue is like the weather – unpredictable. This influencer thing shouldn't distract from the real risk of throwing down big bucks.
No, that is not gambling. That is one of the ways of making money in the era. Gambling is not a means of making money. That is the huge difference.

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?

Was the money he used his own money or sponsored by the casino? if it was his own money there would be a lot of regrets, but if it was money from the casino he was promoting then it wouldn't be a problem.

If he was paid to promote a casino, then this video will not be released for public consumption as it does not attracted more people to gambling rather it send fears to gamblers by telling them what could possibly happen to them over some careless mistakes.

Also from his reaction, one can easily tell that it was his money that he lost. He should accept his loss and move on.

Failure to follow the rules of risk management comes with huge prices just like this case. Do not gamble with what you cannot afford to lose

This is just evidence that no one is above losing and that's why it's all good to know your limits and peacefully stake what you won't be affected when it comes to gambling. It's really funny seeing how the guy reacted to this loss although I know it's social media and everything can be stage but even at that the money is huge and I wonder why he didn't flinch when Staking that high amount.

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?

Yes, it is evident that the intention behind the video was not to advertise a casino, but rather to showcase as its content on the influencer's social media channel. Moreover, the video was streamed live, which means that many of his followers witnessed him lose a significant amount of money. Some viewers even say that Dogie, being a renowned influencer in our country, could earn back the amount lost effortlessly from his earnings on his channels.

If a person is an Influencer, then for him losing $4,000 in a couple minutes is not as significant as it is for most of us. On the contrary, this information will be able to attract new subscribers to him, and he will be able to make good money on this information. Any anti-advertising in skillful hands becomes good advertising.

Well the link no longer works, says video has been removed or link broken.

If he was paid to promote a casino, then this video will not be released for public consumption as it does not attracted more people to gambling rather it send fears to gamblers by telling them what could possibly happen to them over some careless mistakes.
A more suspicious advert would be the influencer winning 4000 dollars from the casino, if that was what in the video.

Also from his reaction, one can easily tell that it was his money that he lost. He should accept his loss and move on.

Failure to follow the rules of risk management comes with huge prices just like this case.
Also a lesson that influencers can loose too, they are not immune to it.

The influencer is not affiliated with a casino so losing $4000 is quite hard for him, I see how gambling streamers lose tens of thousands of dollars and they are certainly disappointed but not this much, it's like he's frustrated.

Who has never experienced a loss in gambling, all must have experienced it including myself, where I lost a large amount in a short time because I increased the bet hoping for a better win but it was not, it was not lucky.

I will not be like this and do not want to repeat what has been experienced, clearly when money is deposited in the casino then it must be prepared to lose because it is certain rather than winning.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.
---

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?
This guy known to be rich but i cant really deny that the amount lost in 2 minutes is really that big. No matter how rich person you would be then it would be normal that you would be having those kind of reactions.
Banging up your keyboard or punching up your monitor is only on the few things that you could really be able to do. Recently we've seen that breaking his own TV on which these are normal human reactions.

No one likes on losing and due on being human beings then we do really sometimes having that surge of emotion. No matter how cool you are or having that good composure but when it comes on losing
money then this is something that you cant really be able to avoid sometimes on having those violent reactions. Its part of gambling but if you are someone who get used to it and
really that could afford it to lose then you wont really be having those reactions i should say.

I don't worry about this guy losing that kind of money so much. As far as I can remember, he also made a vlog showcasing how much eh actually earns in a month from his YouTube earnings and other streams of revenue and he's earning quite well (around $25-$30K). The rage was quite fun to watch, considering that this guy has been all talk ever since he started. Anyway, even rich guys like him get fucked by casinos and bad luck, so the same thing can happen to us normal folks who are looking for fortune in this fortune-grabbing activity.

There are many people who have the habit of playing for emotion, they don't think before playing, they don't do any planning and they don't manage their bankroll before they start playing and in many cases, as they were lucky, once they hit a big multiplier they soon end up very confident that they can repeat the same feat, this also happens when people play card games and manage to have some victories, people start to get very confident and put in more money that they shouldn't and in the end when they lose then they start to I get angry, I stay away from people from my country when they are playing slot machines because when they lose they become violent

They start insulting and shouting as if other people were to blame for their losses, I think it's a very terrible and shameful attitude on their part, but since every day they behave the same way when they lose when playing the slot machine, people start looking at that behavior as normal, while I am shocked, I can see that most of them who are playing on that machine have the same bad behavior. I even started to think that games are not for people who easily explode with anger and hatred. Gambling is for calm people who have control over their emotions

Those guys from my country when they play those slot machines and lose, they get very angry and can start fights that could end with serious injuries to other people, they pick up objects that are in their hands and throw them anywhere because they are angry, But I wonder what other people have to do with their defeat? Simply nothing. other people are passing by on the street because they have things to do or places they are going and those who are playing slot machines must control themselves and respect other people. I wonder if in physical casinos people behave badly when they lose?

If you are not lucky then it's just not your lucky day. This video will remind him of his streaming career, I would probably pick a better game than Bacarrat if I had to spend $4k and spread it all to some other games to enjoy more. Maybe he was just pissed off because it lasted only in 2 minutes.

Both average and wealthy people losing money in gambling is still hurt. None of them will want to lose their money, so the only thing is for them to gamble responsibly, because if you are to say the amount an average guy is supposed to use, you can't know exactly how much he has in his bank account, and also, for the rich person, you don't know how to take his gambling habit. You also know that some wealthy people do not use much money in gambling no matter how wealthy they are. So, this is just how I view gambling because I have seen someone who doesn't have much money but is still using a large amount of money to stake games.

I have never regretted my action in gambling since I started gambling in my life because I don't normally have high expectations and I don't put a huge amount of money in it no matter how sure the ticket is because I believe that it's a football and anything can happen, so therefore, I don't do what will make me regret my action in gambling, and as far as gambling is concerned, I think this is the only way we should view it because it is not something we should do to make money.

Yes, he can earn money again from his channels. He's famous for playing a specific game and participating in tournaments, which allows him to earn huge amounts of money.

Choosing to try a different game may be a good option if the influencer is not having luck with Baccarat, but it depends on their willingness to do so.

He knew the risk he was taking, why did he do it? To win a lot of money without straining, he wanted this, but this does not happen just like that and you have to take risks and be responsible to yourself for this. I also want to ask a question: Is he ready to win in 2 minutes, but not to lose? This is completely irresponsible and he fully deserves this loss.

As for me, I had something like this only once in my life, a very long time ago, when I just started studying gambling. I decided to try my luck, bet my entire deposit and lost it, my blood pressure rose and I couldn’t think about anything else other than this. This taught me for the rest of my life, I never did anything like that again and immediately realized how dangerous gambling can be when you cross the red line that you cannot cross. It’s good that my deposit was not very large at that time and I received such invaluable experience for life.
