$4000 can buy a lot in our country but being a streamer he must have been impressing his viewers by betting huge amounts and bragging about his wins.

i wouldn't be betting that much even if i am rich but yes i have regretted lots of my bets even just today last weekend i lost a few dollars i still regret even when its just a small amount. the best part of having some regrets is that you get to look forward to trying out a new strategy to win.

If you do bet an amount on which that is something that you cant afford to lose then you would really be definitely be ending up on this kind of situation on which destroying something

The dude is an influencer. Influencers from what I know thrive on attention. He did all those things to drive engagements and increase the impression on his account and it  worked.

Yes some how you never can predict what these influencers are up to. They might be out to have a negative advertisement to draw sympathetic support to their pages and after all turn into subscribers.

What if this is just a show and he's able to act as good as he can? But it seems genuine with the reaction and that's really devastating when you've lost a lot in just a span of a few minutes. The good thing here is that money might have been earned easily so he gambled that quickly and didn't took time slowly.

Fortunately, I haven't. I didn't spend a lot amount of money with this quickly. But there are times that I have regretted that I have gambled at the end and that's a normal regret that everyone does. When we've lost whether it's just a small amount or quite big, we always say at the end that we shouldn't have gambled and that's the same line that we're telling everytime we're unlucky and on a losing streak. I can rage like him but I don't destroy my computer peripherals like that. I have experienced raging like that but not in gambling.

Any time am gambling, I always have the temptation of wanting to gamble more which I will later regret after losing so much money. I just feel that gambling have some kind of spirit which can push someone to just go against their own decision. There were times when I wanted to gamble and I made a decision not to exceed $20 but I gambled off far more than that amount and end up regretting and casting blames. I just hate this kind of feeling any time I lose my stakes.

Regardless of your life status, losing money is not a good thing. Who wants it, right? Because that's your hard-earned money and in this case it's a huge amount already in his local currency. Well, the difference is, even this guy lose, he can still make money by posting the video on social media to attract viewers and of course to gain revenue. Thus, easy to get back what he lost.

Yes before. But now, I only spend the amount that I can live without. So everytime I gamble, i'm prepared for the outcome. I think having a mindset that losing is inevitable (so you should have fun instead) can lessen the expectation to gain money in gambling. However, many gamblers have this desire of earning through it then became uncontrollable. It's not unusual though.

No gambler would say he/she hasn't experience such in their gambling history. Losing large sum of money can be very detrimental. It takes only a professional gambler that understands the principle Of gambling to console himself.  I hope your not surprised OP, loss in gambling is for all both the rich and poor, beginners and expert etc. It doesnt look at your status it just hits you at the right time. Gambling is a game in mind where you can lose thousands and millions of dollars in an instant because gambling is a game entirely based on luck. I have never faced such a situation because I budget a very small amount of money for gambling. I take this gambling as entertainment and I never use this gambling as a means of making money. I always budget 1 to 5% of income for gambling I never budget more than 1 to 5% for gambling Also I participate once to twice a week for gambling but it is sports sites for fun. I never spend huge amount of money so even if I lose the bet I don't regret much because I am using this gambling game for fun and I should only use the amount that I can control myself from losing.

That's 250k in the guy's local currency, it is huge it's a one-year earning of a minimum wage earner in that country and he lost that amount in just 2 minutes that's frustrating and by smashing the keyboard we can assume that he is frustrated and he cannot take his losses, I don't know the guy but when you're betting a huge amount of money you have to realize the two scenarios that could happen, he only think of winning so his reaction is something surprising and anger him.
The guy has 8 million followers if I am one of his followers I would unfollow him because he is a bad example of a guy who wastes money easily.

Yep, 250M PHP and that is huge money for us here, quarter of a million PHP. And his reaction is just like the rest of us when we lose big money in gambling. But I think him playing with this huge money, he can recover it right away as he has a lot of followers and viewership.

Anyhow, we already know that it's a risk, we don't know the outcome of the game and obviously in his case, he made a bad decision. Could he regret it? maybe. However, if he can make back that money in just a week then he will be back to gambling again for sure.

This video is proof of how quickly people get into debt after gambling. The man in the video was very greedy due to which he bet a huge amount of money at once in a gambling game as a result of which he lost the game. The social media video link you posted was on 16th February where he lost money like 250K in his native currency which is a lot of money for a man. But there is another video of him that he released on February 13 in which he breaks his headphones in frustration after losing.

Uhmm actually, there are speculations that this guy is just faking it. I mean he is an influencer and promote the casino himself. He might have just done it just for the views, thought it's being recorded live but people can't help to think that these are all for the views. Huh. I don't know why, but those videos are simply painful to watch, in my opinion. The way they cannot either control the feelings after losing and the fact they are willing to gamble a amount of money which could have been used for something good and helpful in the hands of someone else. Anyways, to each their own...
In the end, those influencers are all about chasing clout, trying to get viral as many time as humanly possible, even if he lost that money with the attention he got from the video getting somewhat viral, it will be just matter of time before he recovers all of it. It is how influencing works, as far as I know, getting attention by either winning or failing spectacularly and sharing it on social media.
One can only hope this video serves as cautionary evidence for the people in his same country not to gamble recklessly as he did. He can certainly afford to lose that much on the casino, because of his status and position in social media, but the mass majority of his viewers cannot.

I have always gambled within my bankroll, and I make sure I don't go against my laid-down principles in order for me not to spend too much or lose too much in gambling. 
 
I know there is no amount of money that one loses that is not going to be painful to the person, but if that amount is still within your budget, the pain won't be that much compared to when someone gambles with a large amount of their income with the hope of winning big in the casino, but the reverse happens to be the case.
 
This guy is rich; they are high rollers, and I don't think this is the first time they are losing such an amount of money to gambling. They have been rolling high and winning high, but that level of regret and disappointment comes from him not winning the expected amount from his games; rather, he lost what he went in with.
