There's nothing too great about influencers, they are just like me and you, they lose in gambling just like we do too, there are things that we shouldn't get used to, taking high risk on gambling is like using your hands to right your own dooms day, if you are lucky you could make a big fortune and if you are not lucky it could be the end of you, the risk they take is on par to the level of those who end up taking their lives by suicide.

I like taking risks but I use my sense to wager the risk, if it's too high and could stripe me of my everything that I have build I will never do it, I don't want to know how lucky these guys are getting, it's all good for them if they win, I will also like to advice people to avoid people like these, if you start watching them gradually you will become just like them.

If you end up becoming just like them you might not be as lucky as they are, and this is where the problem lies, you could end up losing everything just because you are motivated by a gambler, know what you are doing, if you must take the same risks as others use only what you can afford to lose.

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?

If losing $4000 can spark such a reaction then the guy gambled with an amount he wasn`t prepared to lose. We measure responsible gambling by our income and our stake. What this means is that our stake should be determined by our income. Richness is in degree. The amount of money Mr A who is considered to be rich will lose and not panic, Mr. B who is also considered rich might lose the same amount of money and then panic. The $4000 is so much for the guy to have used in gambling and that is irresponsible gambling. Panicking and showing different reactions to his loss change nothing unless he decides to be disciplined and avoid trying to recoup his loss going forward. Most gamblers only feel remorse when they don`t have money to gamble but the moment they have money they forget the past and gamble even more.

I have been in a similar situation and I consider my experience worse. When I was in the university I lost $2500 to sports betting though the loss did not happen in a day but when I came to realise myself, I had already lost $2500 which was part of the money for my school expenses. I regretted and even abused myself. However, my reaction was different from the video shared and it shouldn`t be surprising because humans behave differently and also react differently to situations. But to escape the implication of not paying the bills the money was meant for, I resorted to lying to my parents to get the money and also sold my PS2 to complete the money.

Why do you even care about this "famous influencer"? If he really is that famous, he would recover this 4000 USD loss pretty fast.
Is he paid for endorsing a particular casino? What is this blurred sign on the left side of the image?
Influencers are supposed to be entertaining. He is most likely overreacting in order to be entertaining for his viewers.
I agree that losing a decent amount of money is painful(even when you are rich), but should we feel sorry for this guy or something?
Nobody forced him to bet 4K on gambling. Losing money while gambling is something normal.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

4000 dollars is not a high amount, even if it is lost in 2 minutes. In 2016, when I was promoting Bitsler, I was actively gambling on their platform and once I saw a high roller live. I was watching how he lost 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10 bitcoins in a row. I was in total shock, he lost it in a few seconds, probably in 10-15 seconds. I asked him in a live chat about that and he told me that it was easy coins mined years ago, so for him, 10 BTC was nothing like a game-changer.

I once lost 0.16 bitcoin in gambling and I regretted it a lot. I didn't crash anything because I quickly analyzed that it would be another loss on top of that but I had a rash of anxiety and energy, did some pull-ups and breathing techniques to calm down.

This is how the influencer works and of course, its all part of the drama and the plan to be more viral.
That's not a big money for them for sure and that losses can easily be recovered in many ways since as per OP he's famous.
If the casinos partnered with him, I'm sure that $4k is just a part of his professional fee, not to include the money that he can get from streaming.
We should not believe easily to any influencers especially when it comes to gambling, most of them are scripted.

This video is proof of how quickly people get into debt after gambling. The man in the video was very greedy due to which he bet a huge amount of money at once in a gambling game as a result of which he lost the game. The social media video link you posted was on 16th February where he lost money like 250K in his native currency which is a lot of money for a man. But there is another video of him that he released on February 13 in which he breaks his headphones in frustration after losing.

The guy in the video, he will also be able to recover the money he lost especially when many people watched the video, he will earned a lot of money because of the content he made. If we put aside the guy being a vlogger or content creator in the video, we'll think that he risked a lot of money just for gambling and lost in the span of a few minutes, That's a normal reaction that he showed especially if the last money was the one he used, but if you're in the right mindset, are you going to gamble with the money you hold especially when there's no certainty whether you'll win or not? I bet No.

BIG WINNER!

Interesting to have it this time that it's the losing story of an influencer we get to see today unlike their usual winning stories just to attract more followers and new gamblers into the bet site or casino they represent. Wish this could be a motivation for gamblers to stop spending more they can't afford to risk to gamble as no one is immune to losing irrespective of your years of gambling experience and so-called skills.

I use to have these regrettable experiences when I was just starting up with gambling spending more than I ordinarily ought to spend because I had to stake on games I was with so much assurance they were going to play in my favour based on the source of the game but all of that has taught man a lesson and it's been a different story altogether and I don't remember regretting for losses made as I don't spend irrationally anymore.

Although, at times these influencers could pull a trick of this kind to bring themself back to the audience attention especially when they feel they are no more getting the attention and relevance they ones had. They could could do anything just as this to bring back views and audience. It's all a part of their profession.

This influencer probably lost the easy money he earned from his followers, so it doesn't matter to him, now if it was money acquired through honest work that he put in the effort, I doubt he would throw that amount of money.

For me I have not take such risk before and never intend to neither,  but I think many people have spent more than that before maybe you are just coming across this for the first time. But if you make some researches you will discover that there have been somany huge lost in seconds not even upto 2 minutes. One thing about human being is that when you loose you become a case study, but when you win, no body knows what happens except you decide to spill it out. It is always advised that gambling should be played with what you can afford to lose rather gambling with what you can't afford to loose, otherwise you will turn to the shadow of yourself. Just like some people who hoped so high and got disappointed after gambling huge and lost. Gambling regulations should be set to always make sure you are not overdoing what you think you are doing right.

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?

I lost a nice amount of money many times... it can't even be counted anymore, during all the previous years there were many ups and downs, it's like that with every person who gambles often. And I'm sure none of us feel comfortable when we lose, and certainly, there is some regret for what we lost, none of us is made of stone. But we do not all manifest it in the same way! I think this guy in the video is a bit extreme, but I saw some crazier behavior... he just broke the keyboard, at least his monitor and computer are still alive.
Anyway, my reaction is not even close to this guy's reaction... I mumble a bit, curse in all directions and that's it... I wish myself better luck next time and move on.

I've seen a popular rich guy here in my country losing around 8k$ around 400,000 pesos in my local currency which is really a huge amount, After losing started cursing a lot and he was really frustrated and immediately closed the gambling website saying curse words on the gambling websites, I mean I get frustrated as well for sure but it's pretty normal I guess if I lose 400,000pesos in one bet that's is really gonna make me angry and frustrated, probably gonna regret doing that bet. It's a normal reaction for sure if you lose money just like that and for sure most of us are gonna make that reaction as well.

But for sure doing this kind of bet, we could assume that even though it is already a huge amount of money this was only a small percentage of their income probably, I mean it could easily be the case because it's going to be a different story I guess if your better all of your money because it's gonna be difficult to recover if you lose that bet. This just shows how easy it is to lose money or how risky it is to gamble because you could easily lose your money or earn money on gambling.

Already watched that. That's really hard to watch, that also happened to me (not that big) but I pressed the max and I lose my bet. Sometimes when playing for a long time we sometimes forgot or we are not thinking that we are clicking the wrong button, I know that happened to some here that it something like a muscle memory but unsure if you are doing it right. $4000 is not that big amount in some country but to third world country that is usually a salary for whole or more year (to some people). So it's kinda big deal to the viewers of that video because to them that's pretty hard to earn and he lost it in less than 2 minutes.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

It's unfortunate, but influencers deserve such things because they are the reason for a lot of people getting into gambling and losing a lot of money. Imagine if he didn't lose but won, those who were watching him at that moment would have a serious urge to do the same thing because winning $4000 or more in just a couple of minutes is a dream for everyone and when they see their favourite influencer doing it, they might try to do the same and then lose their money.

Right now, those who were watching him when he lost the money, none of his viewers would want to gamble because they have seen the disastrous outcome of gambling through the influencer they were watching and they wouldn't want to have the same results at all.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

Not a high amount for you but for most people losing it on a matter of 2 minutes is already putting you into a nightmare since this amount isnt something that you could be able to earn in a short time.Unless, if you are a
Bitcoin or ETH or some altcoin whale then you wont really be bothering yourself on spending up tons but if you are someone whose really that an average person who do earn from your monthly salary
then you would definitely be having that huge regret on the time that you would be losing that amount.

Also basing up into your comparison on which 2016 year which i do remember  that the amount of Bitcoin is just playing around $200-300 as i remember and losing up 10's
then it would be 3k's or something. If you do tend to reflect it out on the current price that we do have today then you could really say that it is really that
big, and it wouldnt really be that similar for that gambler would be using up on the same base bet if ever the value as of this moment.

That's how gambling is, if you play carelessly your money will disappear in an instant, not just minutes but seconds. I personally have never been caught in a situation like this, because I only bet on the amount I am prepared to lose. By applying this to gambling activities that I often do, this really helps me avoid feelings of regret at the end of the game. Because we never know what might happen at the end of the game, gambling is full of uncertainty and surprises. Where at the end of the game we can win surprisingly and get a big win, which can replace the defeat we experienced in the previous session, and we could have just lost. However, it is important for us to pay attention, that the possibility of losing is always greater than winning, therefore, only bet appropriately and it would be better if we were able to limit the maximum budget we spend on gambling, so that the losses we experience will not be a deep regret. And when someone regrets and feels disappointed with the final betting result, then there are only two possibilities: Someone who is wise enough will definitely reflect on this and use it as a lesson for better and more responsible gambling, while someone who is stupid enough will go back to digging through his wallet again to make crazier bets than before.
You would really be breaking things and this is something that would be commonly see into those gamblers who do rage up. We do know that this is something that really common.
Amount lost based on the video is indeed already big and just like the rest been saying that this is almost a year of salary on your day job. Imagining on losing it out on 2 minutes
then that would surely be a disaster but of course you wont really be that making those huge bets if you arent that financially capable as if you do have that balance
then it would really be just that understandable that you would really be having that kind of betting behavior on which i could say that it would really be just that getting in line
in speaking about your capability.
There are several conditions that can occur and are experienced by many gamblers to date especially if they only rely on emotions that are used as a benchmark in gambling.
Its a very good idea to have a good understanding of what you're getting yourself into and what youre getting yourself into so that u can be sure that you're getting the most out of it.

Gambling apart from us training our mentality can also be use as training in decisions and caution bcause after all we must realize that when we are already at the gambling table or maybe in a game then the worst possibility is that we cannot control our emotions which actually makes the situation complicate d because we have passed the phase to focus on a game and only focus on the bets we make and the benefit we want to get.
This is what must be anticipated because after all when we only rely on momentary emotions and profit targets that we want to get gambling will forever harm ourselves and will not be able to take anything in it.

Influencer, what are their objectives? Ofcourse they're here to promote projects to the very taste of their clients and also promoting the community of these projects. They're in for whatever that will come their way, they will be ready to give small and take the vast amount of profits, we know how these people operates in the system. This news of an influencer losing $4k within the range of 2 minutes, we witnessed the free fall of these currency. The influencer knows exactly what he's doing because there are quite high numbers of losses in the system.

Its their job and they've been paid up for doing such thing so as much as they can they would really be making it as catchy as possible. Hooking up newbie viewers to watch their stream.
They would be making its hype to be on the rooftop, if its needed up to have some emotional gesture and other shows then they would be doing it.  Cheesy. For those people who had been saying about those funds been used
do came from on their pockets on which its a complete bullshit reasoning. They wont really be using their own funds to play or advertise just to lose.Surprisingly there are still those newbies
who do really fall out with this cheap tricks and been easily believe that they could really be able to hit up on the same thing just like with those influencers does.

$4000 is indeed huge to lose in just 2 minutes. I have worked with online casinos before, and there's a high chance that he is only using a demo money and account to play on their platform. And it's up to the influencer on how he will execute his stream to make it seem more like realistic or fun. It's important to not look up or copy these kinds of betting, always make sure to set a budget when gambling, and always gamble responsibly.

he quickly turned into a full supersayan gambler. why did he even try wagering that huge if he couldn't handle losing the amount?
$4000 can buy a lot in our country but being a streamer he must have been impressing his viewers by betting huge amounts and bragging about his wins.

i wouldn't be betting that much even if i am rich but yes i have regretted lots of my bets even just today last weekend i lost a few dollars i still regret even when its just a small amount. the best part of having some regrets is that you get to look forward to trying out a new strategy to win.
Don't let the looks fool you, even though he's mad and fuming at that $4000 loss, that streamer's probably getting a lot more money from the referrals and his use of that casino because I think that most of these gambling streamers are paid by the casinos where they play and the money that they're betting on those games aren't really their money and that it's all just for a show, remember that time when Logan Paul was promoting a scam loot box website? The site gave him a different version of the website that guarantees really good pulls from those loot boxes and then when it's the audiences that were trying out got duped and he was exposed, this is probably the same with this guy minus the scamming the viewers by giving the streamer a different version of the website, maybe even the money that this guy's been using on that casino's not probably his money with the way that he's spending those in gambling.

That was insane, losing $4,000 in just 2 minutes. I never imagine what will happen to me if I got that experience. Maybe I will get a heart attack after seeing my lost that will makes me to lose my life too. It's not worth playing gambling using that big money, especially if we are an average guy who doesn't have much money or having passive income. Even if he is a rich person, losing that big money is not worth.

Yes, regret is one thing that will comes to ourselves but everything is already happened and we can't get that money back. I never experienced losing that much money and my reaction maybe will be worst than that guy on the video. I can't make $4,000 from my jobs and that will the craziest thing that I ever do.
