@OP 4k loss under two minutes isn't surprising in gambling.  Other high rollers even lose millions in seconds.

Quote
Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?

No, I control my gambling expenses but I do experience things that make me regret gambling like winning 20x of my initial deposit and ending up losing all because I failed to stop while trying to hit my target winnings but the regret does not linger for too long.

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?

Don't be carried away by these influencers. If you think there's a regret, then you might be wrong. These guys are influencers therefore they need to act the normal way during a live stream or pre-recorded video. From the start, they are prepared to bet that kind of amount as part of the entertainment therefore regardless of the result, they already know how to react.

If ever I applied that to my own experience, the legitimate reaction of being regret would be my natural response since I'm not a high roller or whale. I will feel the real emotion of losing that big amount. Though in real life, I won't do that kind of bet as aside that I can't afford to risk that amount, there are better ways to maximize the potential of our bankroll.

I agree, I think the guys reaction is exaggerated.  His content is made with such a theme so I do not think that it is his normal reaction when he loses in gambling.  Like the earlier reply stated that he watched the earlier video of this guy breaking his earphone after losing in his session.

However basing up on the video then that amount would really be that considered to be big for him.He wont really be making out such reaction or action if the amount lost is really just that small for him.

No, I think its an acting for the audience.   He wouldn't be gambling such amount if he can't accept the consequences, IMO.

~snip~

I think any gambler has lost money that they regretted losing. Personally, I have not met any gambler who would not lose. If I'm not mistaken my biggest loss in the casino was about $2500. Losing such money is very frustrating, which is why I began to use the tactic of limiting the deposit. Now I do not allow myself to deposit more than $200, so if I lose, I do not lose more than this amount.
Yeah, we all have hard those sad experiences,  losing in gambling is an inevitable thing and for that, we need to get used to it despite the frustrations and bad feelings that come along with losing regardless of how much,  some times when luck is not on our side,  no matter how we try we will still end in loses,  same as when luck is with you,  you win every game as if you control them.

So let's take each feeling as it comes,  on the winning days we stay happy and bad days, and we endure till the next,  this is how it goes in gambling and even in real life.

But losing money always comes with its own peculiar pains sorrow and regret especially when you fail to take actions that could have saved your money at least.

For such a famous influencer, losing $4,000 in just 2 minutes is not a big deal. They have lots!

Aside from that, they are earning way money more than that amount behind the scenes. Smiley

Try also to check a big and large gambling site where they are showing continuous logs and records of players' WIN and LOSS bets. You will see bets there more than over $10,000, $20,000, or even more, IN JUST 1 SINGLE BET. Can you imagine what kind of guts they have risking a big amount in just a matter of seconds? Cheesy

I've been seeing this video many times on Facebook because it's been reuploaded by many of his fans or just content grabbers. For me it's like many other casino streamers with fake reactions. The money they use to gamble on that site is most likely fake; win or lose they still get paid. Since he started streaming online gambling I've unfollowed him it's kind of cringeworthy for me. Even if it's real money I don't think this man cares at all; he can earn it again by making another trash content.

Lets just accept the fact that there are shrimps and  there are whale gamblers just like on trading world for example on where there would really be those people who could bet up that huge on a single bet.
It is really just that we cant really be able to see those huge bets or something like that. Its true that if the do have that money in the first place then it does mean that they are rich.
They wont really be making out those bets if they arent that financially capable on which it would really be just that understandable that there would really be those differences.
Also its impossible that they arent making money on trying out to have some exposure on such casino consider i do know that guy and really that a known influencer.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.

I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.

Video link: https://www.facebook.com/100063918190580/videos/1064447011428446/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?
I see an uncanny trend amongst these "famous" streamers. They'd be well-known for being very good at one thing (Yassuo's really great at playing videogames, TrainwrecksTV's kinda good at giving commentary, Akosi Dogie's great at that trash game called Mobile Legends), and soon as their limelights dim down they resort to becoming lapdog sponsor receivers of these casinos. I mean there's no denying that they probably already made a lot of money playing these games and garnering fans for that matter but to see them slowly delve into insanity, obscurity, and utter desperation over time is a little sad.

The guy's well known not only for playing the game and inventing strats that became meta-defining, he's also been known to make snide remarks and hot opinions which are often wrong, on certain topics involving gaming. Would've really been great if he stuck to that same formula and remained true to what he's been known for but I guess we gotta get that bag every now and again, even if it means throwing away our principles.

I will definitely beat my chest and call anyone who claims to have not lost to gambling before at least more than twice a liar, because the possibility of that is almost equal to zero.

Even the highest-ranking gambler who has made a fortune through gambling does not climb up to that level by just gambling all through without a single record of losing. If the person said they have been able to win more than they have ever lost to the casino, such a case is understandable, and I won't doubt that part.

$2500 is a whole lot of money; it will take me years to combine all my losses before I can record an amount close to that. Even the $200 is too big for me to deposit for a single bet. Well,  we all have different budgets and bankrolls.

Expert gamblers or long-time gamblers surely experience their losses in this activity. And still are losing. So yeah, losing is part of this game. And will always be. So to manage your losses, observe your expenditures and allocate only the funds that you think you can very well afford to lose. I know it has been said countless times, but gamblers always need to refresh of this very simple reminder.

Losing money and reacting to the loss is normal and every human being that lose such amount of money will definitely react to the loss immediately. If you see someone don’t react to such a loss, that means the money does now mean anything to them when they’re been related to their total income they earn. It was just that they sacrificed some little percentage of their money to place a bet which they’ve made up their mind to risk and are ready to lose them if the the bet goes against them.  For a big influencer like him, we will all believe that he is just doing it for the advertisement with the way he reacted to the money lost. If it was a lesser person, the reaction would have been worse and might even want to do something to himself if not controlled in that instance he saw the loss.

Winning and losing are all part of the game; the ability for us to contain those losses under our gambling budget is what will make those losses less painful compared to how they could have been if we had invested and gambled with more than we could afford.

We all have our losses in the process of trying to win big from gambling, which I believe makes the journey smooth. The more we lose, the more we realise our mistake and adjust in order not to make them again in the aspect of our game selection.

I can agree it is natural for people to react badly to the loss of money, specially when one is blinded by the overwhelming sense of greed, which drive us to wager money we cannot allow ourselves to lose. However, I would generally treat influencers in a different way from how I would treat others who do not have a very important precense in social media. In the most of the occasions those influencers chase for opportunities to make money out their capacity to influence others and go viral, and in the most desperate attempts to do so, some streamers and influencers will go as far as gambling with fake money and over react on front of the camera, hoping to go viral.
I have also noticed that, in the case of gambling, it is more likely for an influencer to become well known if he losses a significant amount of money and their reaction is genuine enough for people to share the story all around internet, I don't know why; I guess people Lossing money is more appealing to other gamblers, so they can feel better about themselves and the accumulated losses they have with the casino, when they see someone gambling away literal millions and crying about it. Which only could be used as another example of how there is a very tight relation between the human psychology and gambling.

The guy is a popular gambling video streamer with 8 million followers.

And if you look at all the content and post on his page AkoSiDogie You will see the majority of his content is all about streaming of local gambling sites.

For every video he created and posted on his page, he had a link to one local gambling platform I like to believe that like all the other gambling streamers he is being paid to promote the platform where he is playing he has 8 million followers and he has a good interaction with his viewers making him a very good promoter of local gambling hub.
I'm sure there is a deal between the gambling platform and this streamer most likely a sponsorship deal I checked some of his reels and found out that once he loses on one of his videos the next video shows that he can regain his winnings.
These streamers are not making huge losses because there are no reports of streamers losing turning into a beggars because of his losses and they always manage to regain their losses.

Some streamers are faking their streams with fake money, and fake streamers check out this article

at least this guy broadcast a real event and not the classic fake win.
certainly these videos are terrible for those with gambling problems because they encourage compulsive gambling (gambling several monthly salaries is not normal) making such an activity seem almost fun.
In my country (Italy) there are some "gambling influencer" but they are just comic since it's clear they are wasting ton of moneys or are forced to provide fake data of their bets...

To me, this is a big amount. I just remember the biggest gamblers that can lost millions in a span of a few seconds and minutes, one of them is Drake.

It's hard to move on with this even if you've got a lot of money and you haven't anticipated that you're going to lose. If he's an influencer then it's possible too that it's for the sake of clout.

If it's a real loss, still, it's hard to get on with that moment when you've just waited or just a few wink of his eyes and then lost wholly.

Cheesy
That's true. I've seen live on Bustabit (Crash Game)  someone lose over $2,000 on a single run, possibly more, but I don't remember exactly because it's using "bits" for gambling purposes, so I'm not exactly sure. One thing is certain: it was a large amount of money, and the same person kept going even after losing, so $4,000 in a matter of minutes isn't too surprising, especially for a streamer or influencer who probably earns money from his streams as well. It's quite possible that his video resulted in a reasonable cash flow even though he lost the bet, possibly more, as such videos become viral easy enough.

We cannot compare the balance that influencers have with us, personally. Because, Influencers gamble not only spent $1000-$5000, some of them gamble with more than $10,000 in single season, if you look at the last tweet from Bitcasino, there are members from Bitcasino who gamble with a bet of $1000 per spin. That means an influencer losing $4000 may not be more than losing $40 we experienced.

In any platform specially known ones or those big or have names then for sure there are really that those whale players who do even make those 5k-10k bets per run on which as an ordinary person or earner or gambler
then you would really be finding for these amounts to be already life changing but it turns out that they do really just been wasting up on a single roll as it looks that they arent really that addicted.
Your cool would really be always reflecting out on how rich you are, if you do know that you do have millions of dollars on your account and into bank account then losing up a few thousands wont really be
that being too emotional as if they dont really care at all.

Emotions been shown could neither be real or just simply act just to create some buzz or hype which we know that the more views then the more
money that they could make and and so as with the platform that it been representing.

Just because we cannot afford to make such large bets, or simply because we still have a mind in our heads, doesn't mean there aren't people out there willing to risk thousands of dollars at a time. What I mentioned is a mere example of how someone we previously described bets, and in my case, it wasn't the most extravagant amount of money; we've seen a lot worse, like the OP posted about this streamer/influencer, whatever he is. In my opinion, those who bet huge amounts of money aren't rich; someone who's wealthy isn't that interested in expecting to make money from gambling; someone who's desperate but able to earn a decent living is.

I just saw an influencer displaying his defeat, usually what I see is the victory that is always displayed by influencers or streamers just to attract people's attention to want to play and register using their affiliate link then they will get bonuses and benefits from the casino they have collaborated with the influencer or streamer, but to be honest, this is different, he really experienced a defeat and I have never seen it before, people want to publish their defeat because usually they will think it is something embarrassing to show,

Even though their seriousness in gambling can be seen from their losses, not only their wins, in fact many manipulate their winnings. If they never show their losses, it means they are collaborating with the casino to attract attention and just marketing, I don't know what the purpose of him showing videos of his losses is. It's to remind people not to be careless when playing or not, because to be honest, it seems like he's too greedy to win big so he loses. Gambling should be for fun. It seems like he's too serious about the game and there's something he wants to pursue to be able to win. big. $4000 for me is a lot of money I can use to gamble for 3 months  Grin
